What's Your Favorite Mario Kart?

Pick your favorite Mario Kart from the 8 above and if you please, you may post which Mario Karts you have played and the Mario Kart that you hate the most.

I've only played Mario Kart Wii and DS, but until I get Mario Kart 7 or 8, the Wii version is my favorite.

My favorite is hands down Mario Kart Wii.  It was one of the first wii games I ever played, and I love all of the courses.  Mario kart 7 is good as well, but they took out a couple of the best courses.  The old ds version was okay, but it still wasn't as good.  I haven't played mario kart 8 yet, but I may get it soon.  As for the older ones, I've played a few but I'm not into old stuff.  Maybe it's so a typical young person thing, but whatever.

Thanks Burning, I forgot about this:  Double dash is the closest second you could ever ever ever imagine.  I would go on about this game, but Burning already did below.  The only reason I like the wii version more is that it was sooo amazing to me at the time and I would just play it forever.  Plus, it was a game me and my dad could do together.

Double Dash is love. Double Dash is life. It was way ahead of it's time graphically, and gameplay wise. Gamecube controller? YES. Bob-omb Battle? YES.
Chain Chomp? YEEES!!! XD

It was one of my all time favourite games. The Wii version of Mario Kart is barely any better when it comes to graphics. Double Dash has so much redeeming qualities and isn't a total bitch to learn to control.

DS comes in second place because nostalgia, and how good I got at that game. (3 stars next to my name, woot!)

If I were to say, out of all the games I've played that are Mario Kart, which one I hate the most...

I'd have to say Super Circuit. Though this is out of the games I've played. Super Circuit would be my third favourite game, but I've only properly played 3 Mario Kart games, so yeah. I loved Super Circuit, it was awesome. I even have it on my 3DS still. .3.
