Cruel World

Silver uses his powers on Metal when he sees Zero struggling. It was hard however, because he wouldn't move slower and that made things be a little difficult.

Infinite eventually passes out from the sleeper hold and metal lets go. His body drops like a sack. Metal Sonic points his weapon at Infinite taunting Silver.

"Ohoh don't you dare!!"
He uses his telekinesis on him again, trying to stop him in his actions while dashing towards him.

Metal dodges and whacks Silver full force as he passes by.

He falls down unconscious. The pain hit like a truck as he quickly closed his eyes and just straight up doesn't respond.

Some time later

Eggman is sitting in the DeathEgg over looking the world waiting for Metals return.

His metalic stepping echoes through the hallway leading to his office as he casually approaches from behind.

"Doctor, Silver The Hedgehog and Infinite The Jackal were successfully captured and sent to their new prison cells, as ordered."

"Oh Infinite was with Silver? How nice for a two for one. Prepare the bots for our guests. We don't want their stay here to take long". He laughs evily. Killing Silver and displaying it publicly will make a nice announcement for his return.

"Yes, Doctor."
He replied, leaving the office as he transmits the signals to the other badniks close to the area.

Eggman laugh echoes throughout the area. Infinite opens his one eye and groans as he feels a headache. "Oh shit I recognize this place".

Silver was in the cell besides his cell, but he still hasn't waken up. They were in a more excluded area of the base, filled with boxes and old badnik parts. It was a bit dark and rusty as well.

Infinite stands up and leans against a wall. Once Sonic was in this position and he knows from experience waiting is the best thing to do despite how boring it is

The whole attack team and Sonic received Zero's current localization as a warning. He prepares himself and leads the team outside of the base in order to look for the jackal. The space ship they were sent to got on its way to the DeathEgg immediately, chasing Eggman's giant metal ball nonstop.

One of the soldiers stand near Sonic as they race through space. "Sir. If I may speak, is this a rescue mission or an execution"?

"A rescue."
He replied quickly.
"I remember Silver offered to take care of Infinite while Kory was busy, we need to know if he also got captured or not. Do NOT attack Infinite upon sight! He's under our protection rules!"
He continued while running. The alarms of the sector they invaded went off and badniks were coming from everywhere.

They fight as they run and eventually they come across a very heavy locked door. They continue to fight despite being trapped

Sonic quickly sets up a bomb on the door and commands the others to back off. As the bomb exploded, more alarms went off and bigger robots were sent to attack the shooting team. They immediately shot every robot they could see, but the team had to split up in two so they could continue the mission.

By this time screen every where show Infinite and Silver chained as rows of badniks line up. "SIR WE CANT FIND THEM AND ITS LOOKING REALLY BAD! WHAT SHOULD WE DO"?! One radios to Sonic as they watch the screen on horror. Eggman has seemed to have called back most of the robots so everyone can see. Even the ones back on the planet.

Sonic struggles to think of a solution as time keeps ticking. If he continues on Zero and Silver will most likely get killed in an instant. Their fates are in his hands and there's so little time to decide what to do. The constant destruction around him only made focusing on the decision even worse.

The fastest thing alive feels the pressure around him. This place is huge and confusing. "Sir the tracker is here we found it. We don't see any sign of them".

"GH- ENOUGH!! PASS ME THE PURPLE EMERALD!!"
He demanded as his patience ran lower than expected. One of them gave him the emerald as fast as he could, and Sonic used it as some kind of communicator that sent some weird signals all around. He closed his eyes as he waited for the answer he wanted cautiously... 

A bit of white glowing goo appeared around Sonic's emerald and fell to the floor. The goo puddle grew, letting some kind of creature slowly come out of it. It looked like Kory, but she had most of her body covered in black while her white irises and some random stripes on her body glowed white.

The creature looked at him with half closed eyes and a calm smile.
"You know what to do."
He told her.

And so, the creature giggled and used her puddle as water, swimming through the floors in search of Silver and Zero's cells.

Infinite and Silver are chained up in a room while Eggman laughs at them.

A soft whistle behind him could be heard, followed by a mocking giggle.

Infinite and Silver look up as they also hear the giggle. Eggman turns around and sees her. "Oh now isn't today my lucky day. Come here creature,I thought you were a myth. You need to be studied".

The creature giggled at him like he was just being silly, and slowly wiggled her finger, asking him to come closer by himself. Her mannerism wasn't threatening, but sure was tempting.
