Murder Mystery (Halloween Thingy)

The Order of this is Jetfly, Ryder, Clever, then Red. First off sorry for being late on posting this, if you do not post in the span of 3 days you will be skipped. And when you post your first post please say the character you are using and the costume they are wearing. Now to the rp

(Narrative voice) It was a dark night on the 31st of October, in a manor miles away from civilization, where a simple Halloween party goes terribly wrong. Our story follows some men figuring out the Mystery on this Dark and Scary Halloween night!

Thunder was walking up the hill of the Manor holding his invitation in hand, walking to the door there was no bell, only a knocker in the shape of a gargoyle with a ring in his mouth. He gives 3 brief knocks with the knocker and instantly the door was opened, by a grey furred wolf in a Mario costume. The man in the Mario costume says

"Welcome to the party" and shakes the Reaper Thunders hand. Thunder walks in and waits for the other attendants. (Just so you know, no murder has been committed yet and when it does play along as if it was a fun Halloween murder mystery thing that happens at parties, don't just call out "OMG SOMEONE WAS KILLED, AHHHHH" as if you know that it was a real murder)

Akuma walks up the hill in a shiny Clone Trooper costume including the helmet "Is this the place?" He reach's up to the knocker and realises what it is. "Oh thats cool" he snickers and knocks on the door and waits for someone to open it.

(Just in time for the theme change)

Charlie trudged up the hill, an invitation clutched in his hand. He was dressed in a rather classic vampire costume. As he got to the door, he noticed someone else already standing at the door, beating him to the rather cool looking door knocker.

A few days prior to this day, a letter arrived in the post. It was rather bizarre, as the letter had no stamp, no return address, no signature, nothing to identify who, or what, had sent the letter. The letter invited a red hedgehog to a Halloween party. The dress code was fancy dress, and it took place at an old manor.

Now, today, that same hedgehog stood at the bottom of some stone steps, looking up at the manor, the invitation clutched in his right hand. He was wearing a long, black cape that was red on the inside, and a black and white tuxedo with a red tie, as well as some black shoes. He had some fake fangs in his mouth, and was wearing red contact lenses. He certainly looked the part, in his opinion.

He walked up to the large wooden door, which had a large knocker in the shape of a gargoyle, presumably made out of cast iron, due to its texture and colour. Caen gave three knocks in quick succession to announce his arrival. He was greeted by a man in a costume that he could only describe as a plumber with a poor choice of a colour palette. Red just didn't seem to fit with the shape of the costume, Caen thought, especially against a bright blue. The hedgehog bowed, and identified himself to the wolf that stood before him. The wolf shook his hand and welcomed him inside.

The wolf in the mario costume let the 2 waiting outside in, and he said to all of the new members that there was food in the dining room. As Thunder heard that he sped ahead of the rest into the room. It was a long room narrow room maybe 20 feet wide and 80 feet long probably with a large table in the middle with 2 smaller buffets on each end of the room holding the food. There was a large verity, ranging from stew to cakes. (Just think of a family style buffet with some fancier foods) Thunder ran to the buffet on the left side and went through the line. 

There were some other people eating, a red fox in a Luigi costume, probably the friend of the Mario (going to refer to the side characters by their costumes, you can call them what you want but im not giving them names) a dark grey girl hedgehog in a witch costume, a human (oooh) in a knight costume wielding a broadsword and a large rectangular shield, and another hedgehog this time lime green dressed as link.

(Ahh I just realised that Ryder was supposed to post, then I was, sorry!! I got the order mixed up for a moment)

(Sorry! I just got the names mixed up and posted prematurely. Ah we will just roll with it, the order can be thunder, Ryder, jetfly, me then red, easy fix)

(ok) Akuma walks into the living room and looks at all the house guests chatting away. He looks at the size of the house. "Where can a guy find some snacks around here?" He says as his stomach growls. He walks into another room looking for the kitchen.

Charlie looked around the place, hoping he might recognise a few party goers, that and so he can find a snack to munch on. He overhears another person asking exactly what he was thinking.

"Yeah I'm kinda hungry from the trip to this party!"

The entrance hall was well- lit, and it certainly was grandly decorated. The sheer size of the property alone told Caen that whoever had invited him there, was incredibly rich. The food that he spied through an archway into a dining room also told him this, as he could see pretty fancy foods. Ponsy stuff like caviar stood alongside some pretty tasty looking steaks. Not to mention the cakes. Caen shook his head. Food was unimportant right now. What he wanted to know was who invited him.

The hedgehog walked back towards the wolf in the garish red costume, and asked "excuse me, sir, but can I just ask who the master of the house is? Noone really signed the letter, so I'm a little confused."

The Mario responds saying "I really don't know either, I was invited myself, I was just the one opening the door. When I got here with my friend in the Luigi costume the door was just open so I intited myself cause there was a sign that said im out help yourselves to the food. But its been an hour so we might have to wait a bit longer"
Thunder was walking down to the buffet on the left and getting himself some beef stew a bread roll and 2 cookies.

Ryder had grabbed a plate and helped himself to the different variety  of food they had, he took couple a pieces of fried chicken and two cupcakes to go, walking back to the living room. ( not sure what to do but i'm just waiting for something to happen)

Charlie had his mouth already stuffed fool of whatever goodies were on the buffet, overhearing the conversation. He decided to join in, his mouth still a bit full of food.

"Well... did anyone know who delivered the invitations? I didn't see who did"

"You don't even know a slight bit of identifying info?" Caen rubbed the bridge of his nose "okay... That's fine, I mean, it's not like this guy could be a murderer, or something." He looked up again and crossed his arms "then again, how the hell would he know me? It's not like I'm particularly famous..." Caen looked at the wolf, again, blinking twice "sorry, I have a tendency to go off on a tangent and talk to myself. Uh... I'll see you later, I guess." Caen waved to the wolf before heading off in the direction of the buffet.

The hedgehog looked around the dining room, trying to spot a familiar face. Nothing. What connection could he have to these people? That, Caen did not know. He shrugged his shoulders, thinking that he may as well enjoy the food. He grabbed a plate, filling it with two of the steaks he saw earlier, and some chicken that he spotted when he walked into the room. He wished there was some fries, but realised that this food was probably a hell of a lot more expensive than he was used to.

Caen overheard someone asking who even sent the invitations. He looked at the fox who had asked this, and said "beats me. I asked around, and it seems people don't know who even sent them out. Do any of you have like a long-lost relative or something? I don't think I have, to be honest."

The person in the Luigi costume said, "I'm going to look for some activities around the house. Maybe the master is somewhere hiding waiting to scare us or something" and he left the room. 
Thunder with his mouth full only replied with a little nod and continued to stuff his face.

Akuma comes out the kitchen eating a burrito. "Man this stuff is good!" He checks his phone. "Are you kidding me? No signal?" He raises his phone and waves it around to try and get at least a bar. "Nope...." He sighs and puts the phone in his clone trooper holster. He sees ryder and walks over. "Hey nice costume! Luigi right?"

When Caen asked about long lost relatives, Charlie finished whatever he was eating and let out a bit of a laugh before shrugging his shoulders. 

"I'm an orphan, I wouldn't know, but if there was any long lost relatives involved well then that will be a twist."

He pondered for a moment (eating more in the process) before an idea came to him. He let out a small gasp before looking to the hedgehog again.

"Hey, you think there might be something around this place that will give us a clue to whoever sent the invitations to us?"

Caen wasn't exactly the most glamorous eater, taking large bites that made his cheeks puff out as he chewed.The fox that spoke before thought about the idea of it being a relative, but thought it was unlikely at best, due to him being an orphan. Caen's face straightened as he put his fork down. He certainly could relate. He sighed before picking up the fork again, and continuing on with his eating. "I don't really know. I mean, surely if this place is so grand, the owner would have a picture of themself or relatives but... There's nothing here."

The luigi says "Yep" to Ryder and walks out in search of things to do, and thunder is still stuffing his face with food saying
"Mmm delicious"
