The body of the Lich then turned to ashes, as without his soul, his body was suspectible to the rip and tear of time.

And it hit him. Hard.

Maggie immediately tried summoning the healer, but couldn't, as the magic resistance of the room still persisted.

Lillith went next to Liela." You did it master! But... Your body! " Lillith was happy and worried. " It's...ok... " "But master!!!" "Go get...the book." 

"I'm staying here with Liela," Maggie said. "When it comes to the worst, I'll petrify her; stop the bleeding, improve her chances. You others go on ahead." Like many people full of hope, she believed her powers would work, even when the power of everyone else in the room did not.

"Gather up some cloth; we're gonna make some makeshift bandages," Azzar proclaimed. He was no medic, doctor or even a healer, but he knew blood was supposed to stay inside living things.

"It's ... Fine...Im ... Just going to rest...here..." Liela laid down on thebground. Lillith reluctantly followed Liela's orders. Going to look for the book.

The last room was a teeny tiny opening with a pedastal that proudly displayed the infamous Book of Dungeons.

Lillith looked at the book."I was expecting some fireworks or something to happen. O well." Lillith grabbed the book.

The moment she took the book, all of them, including the pile of blood and giblets that was left of the voidwalker, were back in the library. They were surrounded by soldiers and guards, with no easy way out.

A single figure towered above the rest, donning robes and a pointy wizard hat. "First you kill my men and then you plunder what I've been safekeeping for centuries," the tall figure. "Explain your actions."

"Okay... Was not expecting that." Lillith stared at the wizard. Liela was about to speak but Lillith went infront." Save your energy master." Lillith then had her face turn into a serious one.

 " Excuse me?! We haven't killed any of your men. The only ones that we killed was a voidwalker. Why are we here? Because that same voidwalker told us about the book and since we wanted to have fun we went to get the book with her. I honestly don't see the problem. We all went through the challenges of that dungeon and won the book fair and square. Why master even took down the lich all be herself and that was the first time she'd even seen one." Lillith held the book very tight.She wasnt intimidated at all by the guards.

The wizard was not amused. "The book is not for rent or taking, even if you somehow got through the dungeon it was detained in," he said. "I would advise you to return the book and begone. Your very presence, especially the presence of monsters and demons, is undermining the safety of this school and, as the headmaster, I simply cannot allow such things."

"Well I'm not going to give the book to you. I dont care if you're an ant or god! "Lillith sticked her tounge out. "And What's the problem with monsters and demons? We didn't come here to kill your students. " Liela was just staring at the tempest.Hoping Maybe it could get them out of here since Lillith made it clear she isn't going to give up the book.

"Then I'll take it by force... the hard way!" The guards overrun them, but before they could so much as touch them, the Tempest teleported them back to the house.

Unknown to them, she had stayed behind to buy them time.

Lillith got in a fighting stance but quickly want to a normal position seeing that they were all in the mansion again." Well that could of gone badly. Ain't that right mas...ter?" Liela had lost consciousness but anyone else would think she had died. There was a lot of blood all over her.

Maggie immediately summoned a healer, who immediatešy went to heal Liela, no questions asked. Why would she ask any questions? It was the same one they had before.

"Keeping you in one peace has proven to be quite a challenge." The healer said in a gruff, scolding manner. If course, she was just joking; she's seen far worse injuries, but it was rare to heal the same person twice on the same day.

Lillith nuged the healer." She killed a Lich in a one on one." Lillith smiled. Liela woke up and was confused when she saw she was in the mansion." Weren't we just at the school?"

"The tempest had brought all of us back here," Maggie explained. "But I doubt we're safe here. What id they find a way to track us down? What then? Was this book worth all that trouble?"

"Well if they track us down we'll just put them in a very hard dungeon with this" Lillith pointed at he book.

When the healer was done, she left again. This time, however, she said a proper goodbye. "Thank you for summoning me. I hope we meet again."

The Devil took off his glasses cleaned them, as they had appeared to foggen up as he slain undead. "I suppose we should part ways," he said. "Unless you have a very good reason for me to stay or want to come with me." A red, whirling vortex appeared right next to him.

Liela smiled. "Where are you going big boss? Anywhere special?" Lillith said giving Liela the book.

"Just home," he said. "Gonna take a nap and then invite sone friends over." His job and managing this and that wasn't actually that difficult. All he had to do was to have meeting with other archdemons that ruled over the various circles of Hell, come to an agreedment and go home. At worst, he had three meetings per week, at best, he did nothong for an entire month.

"Oh well in that case I'll pass up. No offense big boss." Lillith waved goodbye. "Yeah thanks for helping."

The devil waved them goodbye and left.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

"Where's the rest of us? The tempest, the voidwalker, that zombie we summoned?"

Liela's face got serious." Yes I was about to ask that too. " She crossed her arms. Lillith backed away laughing nervously. " Um... Well"

"The voidwalker's dead, the zombie was crushed by one of the traps and the tempest did not teleport with us." If asked, Azzar would also lie when asked on how the voidwalker died; what he did, he did to protect Lillith.

As for the zombie; they never noticed he was gone. He was just so insignificant.

"So who killed the voidwalker? " Liela tapped her foot. "Did you kill her Lillith?"

The tentacle monster stood in front of Lillith to protect her, like he had on many occassions. "She tried to dissolve Lillith in water and she would have succeeded," he said, getting the truth out. "If I hadn't killed her and let Lillith heal herself by absorbing her soul."
