Walter Whit The Wolf
Name: Walter Whit the Wolf
Nicknames: Walt, Whit, or Mr. Whit
Species: Wolf
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Occupation: Investigative Journalist/Reporter
Appearance: Non-distinct grey fur, what can be seen of it, is disheveled. Most of this however is under the menagerie of clothes he's often wearing. Probably best described as a stereotypical reporter (hey he saw a picture once, bought the clothes and was like, "To heck with it, I'm wearing them"). Fedora, with the press tag forever jammed in the lining, white dress shirt with grey vest and red tie, grey pinstripe pants, and a tan blazer. Almost always some sort of writing utensil stuck behind one, if not both his ears. Under high stress situations, a cigarette can be found hanging at the side of his mouth. The camera around his neck is almost like some sort of permanent fixture or extension of his body.
Having a relaxed almost tired demeanor. Maybe he's slightly slouched or leaning on something only to be off set by his interested and ever searching eyes and ears. He may be relaxed but the cogs within his head are always turning and it shows.

Personality: The kind of guy who everyone either likes but cannot trust or everyone trusts but cannot like. Being a freelance reporter he's always looking for a story, and while he prefers those that would inform the public he will settle for a bit of sensationalism, a flash in the pan if you will. Not so much working for money it's solely a passion and there are times that this spills over into the extremes he'll go to uncover a story. Breaking and entering, brawling, and stealing, aren't beneath him at times. He realizes that perhaps this isn't ok, but hey its the heat of the moment and the public needs to know.
This vigilante like behavior stems form his desire to be a hero. Keep in mind, he see's himself as sort of the every man so he doesn't go and try to stop crime, at least not how most people would associate with a hero. Preferring to write his stories and reports in hopes that the public will be able to use them to save themselves. Besides he doesn't see many others as pure evil or pure good. Instead of simply trying to stop the next mad scientist from enslaving everyone, he would prefer to ask why. Logically anyway he's not equipped to take those sorts of people down. But, but if one can figure out their motives, the causation for actions, then maybe future atrocities can be prevented.
While not exactly a pacifist, he would much rather prefer to talk things through, and when push does come to shove he'll run his mouth as long as he can. To stall, to convince, to compromise, and if nothing else to annoy. Sure he'll throw a fist or two and get down and dirty if the needs arrive, but he's lost far more fights then he's won and knowing his limitations is one of his strengths.
That's not to say either he's a coward. He's put himself in dangerous situations to get a story, to uncover the truth, etc. In truth he probably over works himself for his passion, having took up smoking on a whim to ease his nerves he quickly became addicted. Utterly frustrated with this development he took up Yo-Yo playing, a sort of call back to his child hood to try to get his mind to focus on something other then the urge to smoke. Working to some degree, he's become quite skilled with a Yo-yo and only smokes when under the highest stress.
A final note, if someone mentions his name he'll almost always give this response "My parents had a good sense of humor, if your laughing then they did something right. If your not then you seriously have to lighten up"
Combat Skills: (Other skills were most likely referenced in the Personality section)
Strengths:
High Endurance: Being a reporter who often times grills his interview subjects a bit much he has had his fair share of batterings, allowing his body to build a decent tolerance to pain
Brawler: As previously mentioned, while not great at it he can hold his own against your basic brute, even pulling out a few bar tricks here and there. Learning from the being beaten end of things, its been a rather hard road.
Underestimation: Most people look at him and just sort of laugh. A reporter? Come on a push over at best. This even if somewhat true judgment, gives him an advantage in surviving
Wits and Persuasion: Not exactly combat skills they're in his arsenal and at times he needs to pull upon all he's got t His line of work has naturally lead to the development of both of these things. Having good looks and charm always helps too
Street Smarts and Rouge Reporter Skills: Ranging from picking locks to basic mechanical repair, to acting and disguising oneself. A lot of these skills were picked up on the job or born out of necessity.
Weaknesses:
Not Combat Trained: Pretty self explanatory, but it covers a lot of his weaknesses. Can't fight, can't defend, etc against someone with a degree of training and skill.
Hot button Topics: While they are hard to push, if pushed it'll trigger the inner passion ever bubbling within him and he'll do something foolish. Like try to actually fight, or get back up for another round.
Loud Mouth: He doesn't stop talking, which can be a strength, but with the wrong person is just a fist to mouth and a quickening of death.
Social Information:
(Going to leave this blank for now until he meets a few people to probably fill this in be they good or bad)
History:
Also going to flesh this out as I get to play him more. I will say this, nothing to dramatic in his past. his parents are still alive, poorer social standing but not destitute, over all a more "normal" back story. Something that you or I could tell one another.
