Appearance:
Standing at about 4'9'', Nox is a Wolf with black fur and deep red eyes, having a long grey cloak over his body. His hands are covered with gloves darker than the shade of night and metal-plated boots, a long scar visable down one of his eyes, forcing it to be in a constantly closed state. He carries a pair of chakrams on his side for when he goes into battle.

Likes:
-Getting stronger on his own terms. His power is his own.
-Utterly Crushing opponents. Something's satisfying about knowing just how much higher you ascended above your rivals...
-Good rivals. Nothing is better than a grindstone to sharpen your sword. And a true one makes you test yourself every time you use them.
-When one knows when to shut up.
-His subjects. Those that worship him as the god he is.
-Admissions of defeat. Down on your knees inferiors!
-Converting his defeated enemies to his cause. More subjects the better!
-Gentle, submissive personalities. Egos that bow down before him are his subjects.
-Allies/Assets. He must protect them. People that serve a purpose are valuable. He wouldn't be a good lord if he simply ignored their please for aid.


Dislikes:
-Probes: People who dig through his psyche to know him. Invaders of his privacy
-Being dominated. Nobody likes being thrown about like a doll but Nox takes it personally.
-Stupid technobabble. It's nothing he understands and it's a waste of his time so speak English, would you kindly.
-Resistance. Those that defy him must be eliminated or converted.
-Air travel. Jumping through the air is something he can tolerate but planes, blimps, airships... He gets air-sick real easy.
-FEAR OF HEIGHTS! Despite the fact he can survive most "natural" falls.
-Losing his power over others. As inconceivable as it might be, he fears the idea he might be left powerless in a ruling perspective.




Personality:
Nox is a prideful creature, holding up his trophies and achievements as something to be admired. Beating strong opponents, throwing or smashing heavy/tough objects or just out-thinking an opponent are some of the things Nox will throw in your face to remind you of your place. That being said, Nox compares himself to others on a level you couldn't believe to feed his ego. He must be better... He has to be or something is very VERY wrong. This is an indicator that he's somewhat insecure, his fragile ego constantly needing reinforcement.

Nox can be kind and protective of his friends though, leaping to their defense if he thinks they need it. He cares deeply for those that truly know who he is and treats his secrets like gifts to give to those that deserve them. Those that know him he cares deeply about and are either to be destroyed or preserved depending on how they got such information. He values his secrets like treasures... and only the deserving may hold them...

He has a deep hatred for his rival Dr. World but also a connection with him... With most he despises, he'd attempt to eliminate them and be on his way but World is an exception... He cares enough about the good doctor to keep him in working order after each of their encounters, maybe because he's aware of how much of a role he had in his creation...


Combat traits

Powers:
Super Speed: able to run at the speed of sound (a minor exaggeration) at sprinting speeds for relatively short periods of time. Casual speed is far beyond the average being if he's just going out for a jog. This also feeds into his combat speed though he doesn't fight as fast as he runs unless he's running someone down.


Chaos: Has the ability to manipulate chaos energies into powerful beams, explosions and weaponry or even to enhance his general physical strength and endurance to a notable extent. These abilities increase with a chaos-emerald in hand though it should be stated that he can preform these abilities without them with respectable potency. His most notable ability is to make clones out of chaos energy, and while they keep his speed, their attack power and durability are greatly lower. They also explode upon being defeated. He can use Chaos Control to stop time, but only in possession of a chaos emerald.

Endurance: Because of his training and insane willpower (not to mention his connection to Chaos energy), Nox is FAR tougher than he appears, able to take blow after brutal blow and keep getting back up or best off than anything else. He laughs in the face of attacks that some would try to avoid and push through others that are beyond dangerous. His mental endurance is stronger than most, able to resist telepathy to a minor extent but it's nowhere near his physical resistance.


Strengths:
- Puts on an air of confidence that is designed to mask his true emotions. This gives the opponent little to work with and psyches him up at the same time.
- His might is brutal and a something one would do well to stay out of the way of. He's much stronger than most others and isn't afraid to show it. He treats his strength like the show of force he was designed to be.
-He has a place in his heart for good people and those who do right by him. He's not a monster at least, not in his eyes. He seeks to prove that to those that matter.

Weaknesses:
- Stubborn to a fault. He can't accept losing or the idea of retreat and this often leaves him in tight spots.
- One-Trick Pony. He's easy to read once one recognizes his tactics and this makes him easy to predict.
-Fragile Ego. He MUST prove himself superior in every challenge he's given and is susceptible to these. He doesn't accept help often either when this trait inevitably pulls him into a trap, leaving him either helpless or near-helpless.

History

Created from the DNA of several notable figures on the planet, Nox the wolf was designed to be the panultimate life-form like so many others before him. His generation was quick and swift and he was brought into the world with the goal of being used as a tool for world peace, though not in the way one might expect. Nox was never meant to be used in the way he was publicized, as the closed fist of destruction. He was meant to be a figurehead, a warning to those that would threaten the peace that would be instilled.

A Bluff.

Nox wasn't meant to be completed but, against his creator's wishes, a young scientist that went by the name of Dr. World continued his generation. He designed personality subroutines, somehow connected him to the vast, endless pools of chaos energy and made additions to his schematics that pushed him into a whole new level of power he wasn't supposed to have. This was why Nox turned out the way he had. All these additions lead to conflicts within his programming as one set of subroutines conflicted with another. His personality warped, his appearance mutated... These inner conflicts nearly destroyed him entirely...

A balance was achieved though and out of the shattered glass of his pod stepped a new life form, Nox the Wolf. And he was his own man! Escaping out of the lair in which he was constructed, Nox disappeared into his surroundings, leaving an enraged Dr. World to explain to his colleagues what happened... The two clashed often, World trying to snatch back Nox for his original purpose, Nox fighting World to maintain his freedom and the two of them had their fair share of victories between them. World knew Nox too well and Nox was too powerful for World. The conflict goes on to this day... though World hasn't been spotted in quite some time...
