I Really Need to Talk

Srunks sighed, looking over to Adrian "Okay, I'll get you coffee...but I need to talk about something else...with you..."

Adrian looked over to Srunks as he leaned back against a tree and showed a bit of concern. "Sure..What do you need to talk about?" He asked.

He rubbed his eyes "My...uh...my aunt...she...went...to the doctor the other day, and they found a lump in her chest...the family's worried and I haven't someone to talk to about this..."

"Oh man...dude I'm so sorry." Adrian said as he was shocked by what he had just heard.

"I'm scared, I don't know if it's benign or malignant...and I've just been...really really scared...." He curled up into a little ball out of fear of losing his aunt. "She was my first best friend..."

Adrian sat down next to Srunks. "Hey I'm sorry man. I know it's hard right now, but you have to stay strong, for your aunt's sake." He said as he was trying to cheer his friend up.

He uncurled a little bit and sat up, sniffling a little bit "Y-yea...you're right...!" He looked over to Adrian and nodded "I-i have to for her!"

"There you go." He patted him on the back. "Your aunt wouldn't want you to cry right now. You need to give her as much support as you can." He said to him.

He nodded "Yea, yea... hehe I owe you a coffee.."

Adrian smiled and nodded."Hehe oh yeah, I forgot about that."

He smiled and stood up, placing his index and middle fingers to his forehead. Then poof, Srunks was gone to get the coffee for his friend.

Adrian then leaned back against the tree bark afterwards. "And now I wait." He said.

Some time passed and Srunks returned with two warm cups of coffee in his hands. But he seemed to look like he just finished a fight of some sort.

"Oh you're back, and you have coffee" Adrian got up and soon noticed that Srunks looked a bit roughed up. "Whoa are you ok dude? Did something happen?"

He handed him his coffee and wiped the small amount of  blood he had on his mouth. "I bumped into some guy when I was getting the coffee, he took it as a threat and began fighting me....I didn't do anything because I'd probably be held accountable for the attacks...plus his girlfriend was being all whiny and saying "Don't hit him, he's sensitive..." He sat down, groaning "Next time, I won't hold back."

"God that's really annoying isn't it?" Adrian groaned in annoyance. "Well at least nothing too bad happened right?" He said as he took a sip of his coffee.

He groaned from pain but he nodded "Yea...sensitive my butt... he's got an anger issue...!" He sipped on the coffee, but a cut on his lip made it hard to enjoy it "...!"

"Are you gonna be ok there?" Adrian asked Srunks with concern in his voice.

He wiped his mouth clear of the coffee and the blood "I'll be fine..."

"Ok buddy. Just let me know if you need any help dealing with stuff like that." He said to Srunks as he took another sip of his coffee.

"I could use some help, but that's when I encounter him again, okay" He rested his head on Adrian's shoulder, since it felt very heavy "Eugh...it was a lucky shot..."

"I got your back. Just try to take it easy for a little bit okay?"

"Thanks man, gosh he packed a punch but I think I'll be fine"

"That's good. So, what else new is going on?"

"Well, at my job, I'm replacing an airbag. SO that's exciting" he grinned
