The RP has the following strict rules :

1. Please, try to maintain the posting order. I won't enforce it, but if anyone will be reading the RP, it'll be much better for them if one of us replies after the other.

2. This rule is a direct exception to the first rule. In the event that you can't reply for one reason or another, a benevolent variant of the 48-hour rule will be in effect. Basically, it means that if you don't manage to reply within 48 hours, whoever's next in the posting order will have the oppurturnity to post instead. However, you'll still be able to reply before the round ends and won't lose a reply.

Ideally, these two rules will work together to create a system for a long-running RP, with 3 people replying only once per week. As the RP is supposed to be funny, a zeroth rule was established as well.

0. The RP is meant to be funny. Nonsensical things can and will happen for no explainable reason and quite often. These things may happen to any of the characters partaking, but they will never come into any harm without expiicit permission.

Tor Bay is a nice little port just off the coast of the mainland, built on a former fortress island. History says that in the past, it was a safe haven for pirates and that a lot of their loot was used to build the fortress. To an extent, the town itself was also built from that money. Unfortunately, none of that wealth transferred into the future and it only went downhill from there.

Over the course of all the years, it became untidy and dirty, with trash everywhere on the streets. Ships came and went, but despite the strategic position, they do absolutely nothing to benefit the town. Most of the ships that are arrive are fishing vessels and they bring in each and every day, but even that doesn't matter, as the cooks still kill all of it with salt. Lots of salt. For a tourist, it's needed, nay, recommended, to bring his own food.

On a pier in the docks, a captain stands, waiting for his new shipmates to arrive. A lot of them were to arrive in reference the poster, which went 'World-wide cruise! Adventure No cost! Sign up now for a free cookie, a cookbook and an instruction video!' plus some other fancy words and phrases. The poster was, of course, a lie as he was looking for 'pirates, not cruise-riding, lemonade-sipping, land-lovers,' as he would say it.

Docked just nearby was his lil' girl, the Northern Siren, an over hundred years old wooden ship, complete with bruises and cuts all over. Apparently, it was given from one generation to another, but even a fool could tell that it belonged to a museum. It wasn't a sight to behold, but the captain was known to love the ship more than others he met in his life. Still, it felt empty with just him sailin' across the oceans and seas. And so, with that, he was hoping the new shipmates would liven the place up...

Being the traveler she was she thought why not. It was a free cruise and after all their were cookies! The flying fox needled the wind through the town with grace, passing by people and shop keepers that would wave their fist's and shout at her for bringing by a gust of wind.

Though this time she was carrying a passenger. Holding her arms by only her hands a pink hedgehog had her eye's closed and shut tight in fear. She'd never exactly loved height's and all of this was much to overwhelming.

Though thankfully soon enough she was back on the sweet, sweet, merciful earth. Much to her relief. 'That was a close one...' She thought dizzily, as her fox friend closed her wing's and brushed off her arms. "Now then. Where's this cruise ship?" She asked looking around, though the two girls only saw one ship. One very old rickety wooden ship.

Ollie read the poster then reread it.Then pulled out her glasses and read it again.Yep still there. The echidna adjusted her hoodie while wondering if she should go.Meh why not?Ollie ran back to the hotel she was staying in to grab her stuff and write a letter to her mother telling her she was going on a trip. After she had done this, signed out of the hotel, and sent the letter she went back to where the ship with her small bag of clothes and knick knacks. Her hoodie was now in the bag and she was wearing her long trench coat lined with many pockets some full some not.She also wore jeans and sneakers but thoses weren't very interesting. The ship was old and ricky looking..Just her style!Smiling she went over and stood by the two girls whom looked as if they were going on the ship too."Hi!"

(We're gonna need another introduction round, as Ollie the Echidna has joined in at the last moment. Welcome aboard. If anyone's unsure of the posting order, look at the first post.)

An old, bearded captain approaches them. His clothes are aged and notably worn out, save for his tricorne, which is even adorned by colourful feathers. On his face, A scar is seen over his right eye, with the eye itself covered by an eye patch. His fur appears grayed out, with some spots still bearing their original colour - black.

All in all, he looks annoyed, almost disappointed as he sees them, but after stopping infront of them, he musters a weak smile.

"Aye, ladies!" he greets them, bowing, "I'm the captain of this 'ere cruise vessel. I assume you saw the posters, but e're not leaving dock 'till more of ye arrive, as am not shore this be all of you."

The black hedgehog couldn't help but notice the commotion going on in the city. It had always been a busy place, but rarely does one ever see it quite so hectic. Being put off by the large crowd, Shadow the Hedgehog initially intended to ignore the whole thing. Whatever this fool was up to was really none of his business. So, why did he decide to read the sheet of paper the odd 'cruise captain' posted? Because someone he knew was signing up for it: Amy Rose. At least, that's what he suspected.

Of course that naive girl would believe everything that man seem to regurgitate from his mouth. The black hedgehog looked over the ship in suspicion. No way this was a cruise ship. He never went on a cruise, and he knew that much. This was obviously some kind of trick. But, if it was free, then what was it he was trying to scam?

His red eyes would have speared right through the captain's gaze if he was looking at it. Not that the hedgehog cared. He knew that Amy was getting herself into a lot of trouble, and he had to be the one to stop her. He harshly jotted his name down, angered that this schemer pick on someone he knew. He didn't know Amy well, but he had a promise to uphold, and she was a part of it.

The black hedgehog took a better examination of the ship, noticing how bruised up it was. What a piece of junk. How could Amy Rose of all people fall for such a cheap trick? Probably because she thought there was nothing to lose since it was free. Whatever the case, he'd play along, but only to make sure Amy stayed out of trouble. "Anyone else you waiting for?" Shadow asked, over hearing the conversation the captain was having with Amy and the other girls. "I'll join. It would be nice to see some of the different locations this planet has to offer." He gave the captain a suspicious glance. It wouldn't be easy to fool this hedgehog, and he would let the captain know it well.

((Alright here i go uvu))

Amy Roses ears perked up at the oncoming footsteps but didn't turn her head to see the figure. The girls currently were listening to the man ramble on about the ship and other things. When she heard the familiar voice her eyes widened, and a surprised looked replaced her former confused one. "Shadow?!" She gasped with shock.

The winged fox turned her head eying the stranger up and down before smirking a bit and laying her hands on Amy's shoulders. "Ohhhh~ Who's this emo the hedgie~ hehe-OOMMPFF!" Amy quickly smacked her friend in the face and pushing her over on the ground.

"Shussh Kid!" Amy growled a bit before turning back to Shadow. "Sorry, she's stupid don't pay attention to her." She heard The fox protest and grumble and Amy lightly kicked her to make her shut up. "What are you doing here? I wouldn't think you'd be into this sorta thing."

[Well, saw this and wanted to join. So I might as well join in on this.. Hopefully, won't go bad.]

Tor Bay. A nice place, but a grey hedgehog was focus on something else. He had to get past some trash to get to a pier with a certain sign, and a few people already there. The hedgehog, Smash, looked at the sign. ''World wide cruise, no cost.. Sounds fun.'' He smiled to himself, before looking over at the people. They seem to already doing some stuff, along with talking. Whenever or not that it was a good time to join in, he just walked over. ''Hi!'' He let out his normal and cheerful voice when he reached them, smiling. He did thought it was weird that the trip was free.. But maybe he was lucky.

Shadow nodded, confirming to Amy that she wasn't hallucinating. He had to admit, he really didn't want to go, and wouldn't if he wasn't so suspicious of this here captain of the cruise ship. However, he was smart enough to know that Amy would get very displeased, to say the least, if he let her know that he didn't trust her judgement. Why did this concern him? Because that was a lie. He did trust her judgement, and that she could take care of herself. However, he didn't trust that everyone in this trip, and this was in fact a scam. Even though he knew the pink hedgehog could take care of herself, it was still a good idea for him to come along just to be on the safe side.

As for her friend... he wasn't gonna lie, but he found them strange, and, though only slightly, it made him feel uneasy. His eyebrows arched at her, showing absolutely no signs that he was feeling anything but annoyed. Hopefully this would get the girl to cut it out, but luckily for him, Amy seemed to stop her fine herself. Perhaps it was the captain that needed rescuing from Amy's wrath, should she ever figure out this is a scam. Not like he was gonna tell him or anything. Whatever it is this guy reaps, he clearly deserved it.

Now, his response to Amy's question was blunt with no exaggeration. "I'm suspicious that someone is giving a free cruise to complete strangers, have them sign up for it, and enter this odd ship, so I'm here to make sure things go smoothly, and that this isn't some kind of trick." Shadow glanced at the captain, and slightly glared at him suspiciously. "That isn't a problem, is it, captain?" He strongly exaggerated the word captain. Shadow thought that this was fairly reasonable, especially for the slim chance that there really wasn't anything going on. If the captain refused him, then Shadow could nip it in the bud, expose the threat to Amy, and get everyone away from the potential schemer. Yep. Sounded like a good plan to him.

The captain returned the glance, scratched the back of his head for a few seconds and then smiled, his yellow teeth showing in their full beauty.

"Aye, I see I already got me my first mate!" he let out, peaking over to Shadow. "You'll do fine matey!" The captain then proceeded to take out an old, wooden guitar out of thin air and strum a few notes on it. Then, he started mumbling something to himself and playing some unknown tune as he made his way to the ship.

"If this be all that there is of ya, get yer good land-lovin legs, paws and make yer way to the ship! Tis old gal be sailin' again!" He then proceeded to toss the guitar onto the ship's main deck, but only managed to break it as it hit the ship's hull with a thud.

Then, just a few seconds later, a guitar appeared in his hands again, once again appearing out of thin air. The only difference was that it looked even more damaged than it already was and was soaked, dripping water. Ignoring the laws of nature, he then proceeded to board the ship without any boarding equipment, walking in the air for a few seconds as he did.

The fox and the hedgehog stared in confussion. In unison there eyes followed the gutair that was sent flying, then breaking, and then reappearing broken in his hans once again. They could only hold in there giggles, at the slightly ammusing show. Though confusion rested in there eyes once again as he some how was able to defy gravity and everything neautons law stood for.

How were they supposed to board without a plank? Of coure Ms. Fox could simply jus fly up there without a problem, but how were the....less winged characters supposed to board. Amy was busy questioning wether she was still in reality. Anything on mobious was practically possible these days, but defing the laws of nature waws not something she could really comprehend. Which was incrediably ridiculous considering her planet was made up of something that defied nature entirely. The pink hedgehog simply raised a brow, scratctching the back of her head and still questioning how on earth she was supposedto....bord. "uhh.....did anyone else just see that?" She mumbled sftly as if she didn't want to sound stupid.

The fox with the strange name, shrugged her shoulders, "perhaps.....its invisable!" She snapped her fingers smirking a bit. That was the only logical conclusion she could come up with even though it wasn't very logical.

Post by Shadow Thu Feb 12, 2015 9:50 pm

Shadow carefully listened to what the captain said, and leered at him when it seemed that he carelessly mentioned something about a first mate. Of course, this could have just been a joke, but the black hedgehog knew better than to just assume that. "First mate?" he questioned. "Why would you need a first mate on a relaxing cruise?"

He didn't know if it was some kind of strategy to get Shadow's mind out of being suspicious, or if this guy was nuts, but his little trick with the guitar certainly made him speechless. And why wouldn't it? It caused him to reconsider what he thought was reality and what wasn't. He didn't use Chaos Control, because Shadow would have known what that looked like, and he would need a Chaos Emerald for that anyway. He didn't sense that either.

Amy and her creepy friend seemed to be wondering how to get on the ship, which caused him to roll his eyes. Couldn't the fox just fly her to the ship? Rouge could carry both him and Omega, and she's not that big. He knew Charmy, who was even smaller, could carry  Espio and Vector. And the robot and crocodile were heavy. If this fox couldn't carry one hedgehog to the ship, then she wasn't that great of a flyer.

Amy should know that this fox could do that. After all, she had Cream carry Big the Cat and herself, so he thought she should know what these flyers were really capable of. Maybe it was an issue with this fox's own issues, but if that was the case, then she was a really lame flyer. So, totally ignoring their little bout, Shadow jumped for the ship, propelling himself with his jet shoes, and landing on the ship without incident. "Anything wrong, Amy?" He asked, giving her the chance to figure it out herself. "What about you? Do those wings actually help you fly, or are they just there for show?" Shadow smirked, making it very clear that he was mocking the fox.

The orange foxes eyes widened and her tail straitened with annoyance. Amy did her best not to laugh at the dumbfounded fox but the giggles seeped through her mouth. The clever lady smirked back and made a reply. "For show? I'm sorry hedgehog but you've gone a bit bananas! I'm the fastests and most graceful flyer that's ever lived!" All six feet of her glorious feathers flared out behind her, shining brightly in the setting sun. It almost looked like fire.

She hugged amy against her as her long wings swooped against the ground pusing her up into the air. She shot forward only flapping her wings a few times. In seconds she was on her feet with a startled amy hugging tightly and still questioning what happened before she realized where she was and the look of suprised settled on her face. Amy made an atempt to scold her friend, but she let go, dropping her on the deck. The wingied fox wrapped her wing around the black hedgehog and pushing him forward a bit, grinning up again. She was clearly angry. "I get that I'm a freak and all but you don't need to make fun of me. They work just fine." She said slowly.

She folded them agaisnst her back hiding.them from view. Amy pulled the foxes jacket, smiling up at her, "hey kid don't get so defensive. Come on we should go explore the ships!" She said rather excited. The fox made a face grabbing the girls hand and they ran off to look around.

Shadow watched, smirking as the fox girl finally took the hint and flew Amy to the ship. An added bonus was the reaction that she gave. He knew that would get her mad, but maybe then she'd wise up and use her brain. However, her next action proved that she wasn't ready to do that. He was surprised when her wings wrapped around him, but before she had a chance to shove him, Shadow got out of her grip by rolling into a ball.

"Don't be stupid." he said, unrolling himself from a ball, and facing her, giving her an intense glare. "I don't want us to fight over something so petty. But if you continue one this idiotic behavior then I won't hesitate knocking some sense into you. I'm the Ultimate Lifeform. You won't stand a chance against me."

Shadow turned away from the two girls. "That's not a threat. That's a warning. So don't push me, stupid." He faced the captain again for a moment before turning to the far horizon. "Alright, captain." he said. "Are we gonna do this the easy way, or the hard way? Answer the question with the truth and directly if you want to do this the easy way. This isn't really a cruise, is it?" He glanced over at the captain, waiting for a response from what Shadow thought was a shady character of a captain.

Saltwater & Brimstone Empty LulzTec Corporation Annouces - LOL!

Post by Crimson Skies Sat Feb 14, 2015 5:22 pm

( Very Happy You guys had a round without me, lol :DDD I would rate both of you +1 if this site had a rating system)

"Tis be a cruise, mah first matey!" explained the captained, with the ship strarting to move slowly on its own. "No need to worry ye littel black head 'bout that!"

Oddly enough, even the ship's rudder started moving on its own, with the captain just moving around like an imcomptetent fool. When he played the guitar, it sounded like a violin, much to his own surprise.

He fiddled with the tuning for a bit, only for the guitar to now sound like a cello. The ship picked up the pace for unknown reasons despite there not being any strong wind for the ship to use to its advantage. The captain then played the guitar as if it really were a cello, causing a number of supernatural things to happen.

The skies almost immediately turned gray and Tor Bay was just a small dot seen in the distance. Within seconds, it also started raining... leaves, for whatever reason.

As if that weren't enough, the leaves disappeared upon touching the ship and to add insult to the already mind boggling event, the whole crew, including the Captain himself, grew long, bushy beards.

"Way hay and up she rises, way hay and up she rises," sung the captain. "Way hay and up she rises, early in tha mornin'!"

Post by Shadow Thu Feb 26, 2015 10:30 pm

Shadow wasn't really fazed by the strange happenstances that occurred with the guitar. After all, the captain already demonstrated the weirdness of the instrument. However, he could be as nonchalant about the ship. He didn't know the exact mechanics of a ship that sails on the sea, but he knew that something wasn't right about how the 'cruise' ship moved. He wasn't able to put his finger on it, but there was something wrong.

The ship had been moving so fast that before Shadow knew it, he could barely see the city or the dock they left from. None of this made him nervous, heaven forbid, it would be near impossible to do that. If Shadow was nervous, there would really be something to be concerned about. That didn't mean he didn't think that this was strange and that he trusted the man behind this scheme. (He was certain this was a scheme.)

The weirdest thing that happened was that everyone on the ship, himself included, seemed to grow very long beards. Could hedgehogs even grow beards? He's seen hedgehogs with mustaches, but that doesn't really mean they can grow beards. Well, that was one thing. This was another thing that didn't bother him, but he had to really feel sorry for Amy. No doubt when she saw that she had a beard, I think the only thing that would be comforting is that all of the other girls on the ship have them too. As for Amy's friend... he simply smirked at her. If she was embarrassed, that would please him.

(I'm mentioning her characters for now in case she comes back.)

Quiet the opposite in fact. The girls came onto the main deck of the ship laughing with funny accents. "Ho Ho Ho, Im'a Mario, I have a' crazy a' beard Now! Im'a also, gonna have'a pizza!" Amy started hopping around the ship with happiness. Then the Fox Began to, "Ho Ho Ho Im just Santa. Who want's Cooookiiiieeesssss??!!~~"

"I want the cookies~~" Amy shouted in her enthusiastic personification of a guy named Mario. They were actually having a little to much fun with theses beards. They were fluffy and fun to touch. Yep. It was a bit weird.

((Sorry for the shortness |D writers block The references are strong with this one ))

The ship slowed down on the open sea and the supernatural occurences faded away, the leaf storm stopping and the beards turning into seagulls and flying away.

The captain walked onto the main deck, gave out a hearty laugh and invited everyone to the underdeck.
"Instructions fer yer ferst trip on ground, laddies!" he explained, opening the hatch to the under deck. "Bring all yer land-lovin legs and fest arms!"
