Strings Of Fate & Falling

Max looked to roxy. He sighed. Holdi her hand tightly. Not hard enough to cause any pain.

Kaidori looked to them. "So your roxy? The one who stole his heart" he started to walk towards them max got in front of her and snarled.  The demon threw up his hands and backed away. "Easy son"

"Don't come near her"

Leorik looked to his brother. "He's very protective"

Roxanne looked to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay, Max." she said, walking to stand beside him instead. She could handle herself if need be, though he didn't seem like he was going to try anything as he had backed off.

Max looked to her. Then to his 'father' he backed up and let kaidori walk forward. He looked her over. "So your his enchantress?"

Max as if on instinct. Yelled. "Dad!" But then he covered his mouth. 

Leorik chuckled. "That was my line kaidori"

Roxanne tensed up as she started blushing a little bit, much to her dismay. She shook it off and looked him in the eye. "So...what if I am?" she asked, frowning slightly, almost defensively as she stood by Max's side.

Kaidori smiled. "Then I'd say I hope he treats you right. Your as beautiful as your mother was at that age." He said looking from her to ruby. "Yet she more had a thing for Leo and  Logan."

Leo chuckled. "Kai stop I believe you were talking to Roxanne. Not flirting with ruby"

Max growled silently.

Roxanne blushed a little at his words, looking flustered as she fiddled with her clothes, looking away. She...didn't really know what to say to that, and her mother wasn't exactly helping...

Ruby stood there speechless, though she gave a smirk in Roxy's direction, as if choosing to let her handle it.

Kai smiles. "Take care of her max she's a keeper." 

"Dad stop." Max said he said strangly his rage going away

Roxanne pouted a little as her blush got worse, looking away. She didn't know why she was getting so flustered, although maybe it was due to the notion of meeting another parent, but either way, she was slightly embarrassed as she rubbed the back of her head.

Max smiled grabbing roxy's hand. "Roxy come on let's go" he said pulling her away and outside.

Leorik chuckled. "He took that better than expected"

Lenora looked worried. "I hope so"

Roxanne kept up with him as he more or less escorted her outside. She sighed, knowing he was probably acting stoic about the situation now, but sooner or later, he was express his true feeling about it.

She didn't know whether to remain silent or what, so she just went with her instincts. "Are you doing okay, Max? I know that...was a lot to take in." she asked, looking to him with concern as they still walked, hand and hand.

"It's a hell of a lot to take in" he said with a groan. "I don't know why it came out of my mouth but I alled him dad like he had been there forever" he shook his head. "It's hurting my head

Roxanne looked to him again, worried before she stopped so he stopped with her. She gave a small smile before she cupped his cheeks with her hands and gently pulled it down so she could kiss his forehead. "How's that?" she asked, breathlessly, smiling a bit against his forehead.

Max smiled. "It's a little better" he said pulling her closer "wanna come along? I'm suppose to meet zexal in an hour"

Roxanne smiled a little, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I'd like to, but, are you sure? If it's training again, I don't want to distract you... - are you sure Zexal would mind?" she asked, swaying in his arms.

"It's fine baby. He wont mind " he said as they started to walk towards where the saw zexal years ago "it's a sparing session. And you don't have to come if you don't want to"

Roxanne smirked as she bit her lip, thinking. "Yeah...I wanna come. I want to watch after all...I like watching you." she purred, nipping at his neck when they stopped for a brief moment. Her tail swishing flirtatiously.

Max smirked. "Before we go you might wanna go get those pills your mother told you about" he said

Roxanne tut, before nodding and walking back to her house. She probably stashed them in the cupboard somewhere so she looked in there. Roxy took a pill and swallowed it down with a glass of water before she hurriedly made it back to Max, hoping he was still there.

Max stood thre waiting for her. "Al ready to go" he said as they started to walk for the clearing. The light blue fox was polishing his bled when they got tere. "Hey guys... Whoa roxy you look. Beautiful"

Max growled a little. "Back of shadowsong she's my girl"

"Easy max I can't give her a compliment?"

Roxanne looked to him, smiling a little before she blushed, her hands behind her back as she started swaying on the spot. "Thanks...Zexal." she said, a little flustered all of a sudden.

zexal smiled. "So you two are finally a couple? About time" zexal said chuckled 

Max groaned. "Ready to get started"

Zexal grinned "after you demon swords master"

She smiled before she leapt up onto one of the branches in the nearby tree, balancing perfectly so she could watch. Roxy bit her lip as she looked down at them both.

Max smiled drawing his blade. Zexal at the same time as him. Then they started to to spar moving at lightning quick speeds. The sounds of the blades colliding echoed throughout the forest.

"I love watching him" a light grey female fox sat next to roxy on the branch

"So do I...regarding Max of course." she said, glancing over at her briefly. She suddenly wondered if she would get the 'I told you so' speech as she rolled her eyes.

"How come you only show up when you can talk to me alone?" she suddenly looked to her, with sympathetic eyes. "Are you...alone?"

"I come because if I'm right you and I will technically be sisters" she said. "The name is cilia by the way"

Max grinned speeding up
