♋~Countdown: The EXE-periment~♋

The Prologue

alarm was set off in there. Reason being is because scientists have discovered a new element deep within the earth. They decided to call it EXE for now. EXE was a pure black color and was as hard as a rock. According to the scientists, the only thing it seems to react with is blood. When it comes in contact with it, EXE will absorb it like a sponge, then make a slight humming noise. It then gets strange red markings all over it. Of course, they overdid the testing. EXE lost control and destroyed the containment cell it was in. It killed a scientist and drained all of his blood. EXE looked up and saw a picture of a deceased agent... Skyros. EXE took the exact shape as him, but instead of being blue and white, it was black and red, with blood red pupils for its eyes and blood dripping down the body. The troopers weren't ready for EXE.... and in the end... EXE was the only thing standing.... laughing evilly....

Months later....) Its a bright and beautiful day in the city. A new resident to the city is Anthony the Hedgehog. He is walking around in the park.

different. Of course, she passed on after killing herself. Of course, her clothes that she wore were different. She looked to the sky once again, then flew down beside the hedgehog. She wanted to be seen.

she asked the hedgehog.

"Huh...?" He looked at the fox confused. "What thing....?" He thinks about his dreams of this killer black and red hedgehog with a bloody body and bloody red eyes then shudders. "Ugh..."

the fox replied. "Name's Lena," she said to the hedgehog.

"You mean... a black and red hedgehog...?" He looked at Lena. "Oh.. and my name is Anthony.."

Lena replied. "Nice to meet you, Anthony."

"Only in my dreams.... it hunts..." He shivered remembering the eyes.

Lena reassured Anthony and wrapped her wings around him. "You have me as a friend. I'm here if you need me for anything at all. And, oh yes, don't mind the wings. I'm an angel. This is because I passed on after killing myself," Lena added, continuing to reassure Anthony.

He hugged her back feeling safer. "Thanks...." He smiled at her.

Lena replied with a smile.

He slightly blushed. "So... you killed yourself... why...?"

Lena sighed. "My used-to-be boyfriend wanted to know if I was crying...I lied to him and I said I wasn't...then that happened," she said to Anthony, shedding a tear.

He wipes the tear from her face and hugs her. "Hey... its alright... I'm here...."

Lena sighed sadly and hugged Anthony. "But it's over now, that's for sure," Lena replied.

"Well..." He felt bad for Lena then his mind flashed to red eyes and he fell to his knees. "Gah..."

"What's wrong?!" Lena exclaimed, suddenly on her feet. She was tearing up rather quickly.

"I..I saw the eyes...." He held his head.

"Then that thing must be still out there," Lena replied, now calmed down again.

"Ugh..." He felt dizzy then he swore he heard a screeching sound but only he heard it.

Not again... Lena thought. "That thing is out there..." she said to herself, helping Anthony to his feet.

He gets up with Lena's help. "I think it is too...."

"Should we search for it?" Lena asked.

"I rather have more help..... that thing looks like it can kill us without trying..." He kept seeing the eyes in his mind then heard in his mind "Hehehe... run...."

"That thing is here..." Lena said to herself. "So where can we get help?" she asked Anthony.
