Murder in the Factory? Empty Murder in the Factory?

Post by Knuxtiger4 Thu Jun 05, 2014 1:01 am

Murder was in the air... or at least that was what the news was blaring in the cities.  It was rather strange case was why it was getting so much coverage compare to the usual news of muggings and robberies that were commonly broadcasted.

The details of the murder itself was bizarre, a rather young deer was exploring an abandon factory on his own after telling some friends where he was going.  It wasn't until nightfall when the friends didn't here back from their friend that they took action to search for him.  It would then they discovered their friend in front of the factory in a pool of his own blood with a pipe nearby also covered.  Wouldn't be long that the police arrive and deemed he didn't fight back and convinced a murderer was on the loose.

I mean it was the perfect place to pull it off?  The factory itself was very large, nearly as big as a small town with multiple building on the property. Abandoned and falling apart ever so slowly it was the perfect place to invite would be squatters into the area.  Whether the squatter were good or bad remained the bigger question.  The investigation showed though, there was no squatters there for quite some time, a very eerie warning that there was something much more going on here.

The crime scene seemed to have died down over the past day or two, police seemed to have left the scene after ruling out the murderer may have fled the area.  The factory now silent and free of the law now was quiet and started to bring people out to explore it.  One person passing the area, Ozzi Auden seemed rather interest in the factory.  On his travels he heard about the murder case which has brought him to the factory.  He stood at the poor chained up fence, listen very so carefully for a good minute before he pole vaulted the fence using a rather decorated staff.

There was no telling what him or other might find on the property.  A murderer?  A Monster?  Even a demon?  Or even just nothing.

Hidden in a nearby alley, spying Ozzi sneak into the factory complex, was slim green lizard. He watched Ozzi for a moment before darting down the alley. Holding his stedson, Malahat snuck around to a hole in the fence. It was only big enough for a child or someone as slim as Malahat to slip in.

He heard about the murder, this one of the few place he knew that he could sell his load of moonshine. The death of the young deer could not have happen at the worst time. If this guy was a detective, it could be the only person to speak to.

Malahat scampered up one of the wall and watched Ozzi from the shadows. Was this his client, or was he a cop. Only time could tell.

A murder.  Sounds like a case.  A slender purple bat with a defined hourglass figure was standing outside the fence, scoping out the building.  She had a notepad in one hand, a pencil in the other.  She was quickly scribbling down information.  Looks like this place hasn't been used in a while..... The fence seems to be there to keep people out.....  Who was this strange bat?

She went by the name Twilight.  She was a private eye by day, and an unattainable model by night.  She had been hired (she hired herself) to scope this out.  She had come prepared, with a white sleeved shirt and brown skin-tight pants, with an over-the-shoulder bag.  She was wearing sandals as well.  She walked around the fence, looking for a way in until she found a hole.  It was small, big enough for only a small child.  She sighed.  She had no other choice.  She stuck her head through cautiously, before slipping her hands through and pulling herself slowly in.  "Investigation, here I come."

Landing ever so gently, the kudu glanced around the area, holding his staff close. "Let's see...no one around, I think its all clear." he said before gently smiling.  Releasing his staff it quickly changed, shifting into a little creature.  The creature was a small cat size critter with wings and a long tail that ended in a rounded, blunt edge.  To many, they wouldn't have a clue what the creature was.  Either way, it seems to gravitate towards Ozzi, staying near his legs.

"Is it safe?" the creature asked as she looked up to Ozzi.  "Of course Acai." he smiled as he picked her up.  Acai as he called the creature seems to climb around him until she was preached on his shoulder, stay close by him.  He smiled at her before he began to move along, exploring the area.

"They said a murder happened here on the news.  I think there was a lot more to this though." he said as he headed for the area where the young deer was found.  "There's just not many things adding up here...just want to see it for myself before we move along on our journey"  Ozzi looked at Acai who nodded back with him, giving him the okay that she was fine with him exploring the area.

Malahat had watched the staff turn into the creature, but yet he remained quiet. 'This can't be the client.' thought Malahat, 'But it's not a cop either...Who could this person be?'

Malahat quickly clambered across the wall hidden in shadows before spotting Twilight.

'!!!' hissed Malahat in his mind, 'A PI?! This could be bad...Or....' a wicked grin crossed Malahat's face as he scrambled in the darkness.

She watched as the staff turned into the odd creature.  Interesting.  She took her journal and wrote something down.  He could be a suspect.  She was just about to walk over to him when she heard a noise.  She flicked her ears and looked towards the shadows.  It had sounded like something was moving there.  She narrowed her eyes and wrote more.  After finishing up she blinked and walked over to the other Mobian.

"Hello.  Are you investigating the murder as well?"  Her voice was deep and alluring.  She tilted her head, still alert at the noise from the shadows.
