MidknightBeast's Pokemon SoulSilver Wedlocke

I'm gonna do a Pokemon Soul Silver Wedlocke, and all of the Pokemon I catch will be named after members on the Forum 8D The main character is called Nation~ I'm going to be keeping a log/diary of my adventure, so keep an eye out!

Wedlocke rules;

RULE #1: FAINTED POKEMON ARE DEAD ;c
When a Pokemon faints, it must be released forever or put in a box in the PC. It is considered to be dead.


RULE #2: ONLY CATCH THE 1ST ELIGIBLE POKEMON IN AN AREA
You can catch or obtain only the first eligible obtainable Pokemon you encounter in any route or area, with exceptions being made based on the Pokemon's gender. Fail to catch it and you get nothing for the area.
• Genderless Pokemon cannot be caught. Ever.
• If you have 1, 3, or 5 Pokemon in your party, you ignore any Pokemon encounters whose gender you have an uneven number of, e.g. if you have just one male Pokemon and two female Pokemon, you cannot catch any more female Pokemon until the count is even again. If you have an even number of each gender, this does not apply.
• "Dupes Clause" is recommended, to add to the uniqueness of each Pokemon. This means you do not count any encounter against any Pokemon whose species you have already caught, which is usually determined by the Poke Ball symbol by their HP bar.


RULE #3: ALL POKEMON MUST BE NICKNAMED AFTER PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM
This is to increase the bond between you and your Pokemon. They're not just randoms; they're your friends. Treat them accordingly.


RULE #4: YOUR POKEMON ARE "PARTNERED" WITH EACH OTHER AND FIGHT IN PAIRS
• Only one male and one female can form a pair, and once they do, it lasts until one dies or is released.
• Each Pokemon on your team can battle only alongside its partner, if it has one. Switching Pokemon out in battle is allowed, but ONLY for the Pokemon's partner.
• If a Pokemon dies in battle, its partner must avenge the fallen Pokemon or die along with them; switching to any other Pokemon is forbidden, regardless of circumstance. (In the case of Double or Triple Battles, you may have to make exceptions. Do what feels right.)
• If a Pokemon's partner dies, it can gain a new one that doesn't already have a partner (either from a PC box or a wild Pokemon).

Log Entry 1: 25th February, 2014

Nation wakes up from her restless sleep, excited to finally become a Pokemon trainer, and take on the 'Wedlocke' Challenge. She runs downstairs, only to be interrupted by her mother, who gives her access to the Save, Options and Trainer Card. Nation runs out of the house, barging through the door...But is met with another interruption..Ethan, walking with his Marill.

She ignores everything he says and continues, rushing to Prof. Elm's..As she walks into his laboratory, she notices the pod with the 3 starter Pokemon; Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile. Straight away, Nation knows, she wants Totodile. When the Pokeball for Totodile is picked up, the small croc poofs out of his capsule and stands by her side...She calls it Midknight.

damn boy you make me want to do one of those :I though I'm currently doing some final preps to my team. Still waiting on darcy to tell me when she wants to battle

It's really hard...Normally at the start of a game I'd have 2 reasonably levelled Pokemon, but with this it means having 6 in your party and only being able to train 2 at a time, it's quite tedious

XD I usualy do nuzlocke's so I get what you mean though

LOG ENTRY 2: 26th February, 2014

Leading on from her last save point, Nation decides to do some grinding on her two super stars, Tank and Midknight, beating down every Rattata, Caterpie or Hoothoot in sight, eventually getting them both to a safe level 13, and also get's Sparknish and Uncanny to level 10, just incase of an emergency couple death.

She storms her way into Violet City Gym, hoping to win with no losses..


FALKNER;

Pidgeotto Level 13

WIN, DEATHS: 0


And so Midknight and Tank beat Falkner's birds..The Pidgey was no match against Tank's...Bite...and..Quick Attack...Although, the Pideotto was a bit of a problem for both Midknight and Tank..Tank uses Leer, to make it easier, but takes TOOO much damage from the Gust of the Pidgeotto..Nation switches to Midknight, who takes the attack somewhat better....*Water Gun Spam*

Nation heals up her Pokemon and gets a call from Prof. Elm, asking her to pick up an Egg from one of his Aides at the PokeMart, she does so and receives the Mysterious Egg...But, sadly, she deposits it into her PC, as she sees no real need for it right now.

Her next objective is to defeat Bugsy, the Bug-Type Gym Leader, who's Scyther can be a real Locke-Killer..She knows her current Totodile, Rattata, Hoothoot and Zubat will not fair to well against it...

Nation ventures on through Route 32, enountering a Naughty Mareep, which Nation sees as a good bet against Bugsy's Scyther, with it being part Flying-Type of course..And with ease, the Mareep is snagged.

Log Entry 3: 28th February - 1st March 2014


[I did quite a lot, and can't be bothered writing it all how I usually do, so I'm just going to bullet-point it]



-Defeated Team Rocket at Slowpoke Well.

-Trained Punk and Electrisa to level 16 to fight the Gym Leader.

-Electrisa evolves into Flaaffy.

-Defeated Pokemon Trainers in the Gym.

-Fought Rival outside of Ilex Forest with Punk and Electrisa, no deaths.

-X-Wing the Weedle (Male) is caught in Ilex Forest, deposited into PC due to full party

-Boubka the Slowpoke (Male) caught in Slowpoke Well, deposited into PC due to full Party

-Take on Gym Leader Bugsy with Punk and Electrisa.

-Punk defeats both Kakuna and Metapod, whilst Electrisa uses Thundershock to take down the troublesome Scyther.

-No deaths against the Gym Leader.

-Do the Farfetch'd Puzzle in Ilex Forest, obtain HM01 Cut.

-Tank learns Cut.

-Teach Midknight and Punk Headbutt through the Move Tutor.

-Return to Azalea town so Punk and Mid can Headbutt trees for an encounter.

-Grudge the Spearow (Female) is caught in Azalea Town, deposited in PC due to full party.

-Return to Ilex Forest, leading with Spark and Uncanny to do some training.

Note; I'm not neglecting Sparknish and Uncanny, it's just they're so hard to train. Hopefully I find a place soon for them both to be trained easily, or the Exp. Share..Which I'm not sure where you obtain in these games.

Log Entry 4: 3rd March 2014


-Nation makes it through Ilex Forest
-Capture DreamsDoor the Drowzee at Route 34
-Successfuly take down all of the trainers in Route 34, but unfortunately Sparknish the Hoothoot dies.
-Sparknish is put in the DEATH Box in the PC, and is replaced by Boubka the Slowpoke.
-Grind Pokemon until all are level 18, excluding Slowpoke. Midknight evolves!
-Obtain the Radio Card frm Godlenrod Radio Station
-Defeat the trainers in the Goldenrod Underground
-Defeat the trainers in Whitney's Gym.
-Take on Whitney with Midknight and Tank, feeling they are the most powerful duo.
-Whitney is defeated with ease, her Miltank never attacked and just stalled the majority of the battle :I
-Head North to Route 35. Capture a Nidoran(M) called Dregan.
-Defeat the Trainers on Route 35. Tank evolves!
-Return to Goldenrod to obtain the Squirtbottle.
-Go to National Park to participate in the Bug Catching contest. 
-Capture a female Butterfree called Succubus.
-We venture on East to Route 36
-Capture a Vulpix (Female) called Lady~!
-Speak to Bill in Ecruteak City. We return to Goldenrod and receive an Eevee. We name it Aquarius.
-While in Goldenrod, Nation decides to hatch the Togepi, which is also female. We name it ILikeSanic.
-We cycle all the way back to New Bark town to show Professor Elm the hatched Togepi, he gives us an Everstone (I was hoping it'd be an Exp. Share -.-)
-Cycle AAAAALL the way back to Ecruteak City and visit the Burnt Tower.
-Rival is defeated with Punk and Electrisa, Punk evolves!
-We encounter the Legendary Beasts
-Nation battles the Firebreathers. The Firebreather's Charmeleon uses Ember and defeats Electrisa. Punk is heartbroken...
-Capture KnuxTiger the Koffing in Burnt Tower
-Electrisa is put in the DEATH Box in the PC, and Succubus the Butterfree comes out.
-Before fighting the Gym, we head West to Route 38 and capture a Male Meowth, nicknamed BurningFox.

-Being a Hoothoot, you were naturally not the strongest. You would get beat in some of the easiest of battles, but you never gave up, always trying to impress the others, showing you were as strong as they were.

*Electrisa the Flaaffy: Lv.21
-The first heart-breaking loss..You and Punk battled fiercely together. You were proud of your power and weren't afraid to show it. You were a brilliant asset to the team..If it weren't for you, we wouldn't have gotten passed Bugsy and his dreaded Scyther. Rest In Peace, Electrisa.

Woohoo~! Im desperately running out of names though ;~;

Sorry for not updating this, but I did lose this wedlocke run. I can't remember where...But I did, I just forgot to notify xD It was probably Clair that killed the locke for me though.

So I lost. I was considering doing a reqular Nuzlocke of Pokemon Emerald...But with a little twist....Wanna know that twist? Let me know if you'd want me to do it! I'm sure you guys will love it
