Build:: Slender, a little on the thin side and lanky
Posture: tends to stand ramrod straight and fidgets when nervous
Overall appearance: Nil is a young hedgehog, he's about avarage size as far as mobian hedgehogs go and on the skinny side as he's still growing and still needs to settle properly into his new size. His fur is a crisp white and he takes great pains to keep it that way since everything shows on white fur.

His long quills are sweeped to curve around his head, held in place by a custom band that has a rather futuristic look to it. Which also seems to be the overall theme of his clothing. Nil wears clothes that are a dark color, usualy black, with cyan or blue highlights in smooth simple lines that give it a futuristic, modernish feel.

Nil has bright blue eyes and a peach muzzle, his overall skin color is light to almost match the color of his fur and he has blueish markings.

General Personality:
Nil is a good kid. Sure he has his quirks and flaws, but when you get right down to it he's a good kid. He's kind hearted, Friendly and dare I say even bubbly. He's in his element when he's surounded by people, a true extroverted personality that thrives on being around friends and family and talking peoples ears off.

This also means that Nil has no problem talking to complete strangers. Sure he'll worry about what to say or what to do but that won't stop he endless stream of words leaving his lips. If Nil is nervous he'll simply compensate by talking more. It's not hard to tell he's nervous though as he tends to start fidgeting.

Ofcourse, like every teenager, Nil has his flaws and insecurities. He's easily jealous, though he rarely shows it, even though his cheerfull banter will become rife with thoughtless little jibes that make it hard to tell weither he's doing it on purpose or really doesn't realise what he's doing.

Despite his cheerful disposition and his willingness to talk to everyone, Nil can be pretty cinical and distrustful towards strangers. He seems to have a decent sense for trouble and avoids it when he can. Nil's biggest flaw is that he's a chronic liar. Even if a situation doesn't warrant it Nil's first instinct will always be to lie if he thinks the truth will get him in trouble.

Biography

Nil was born to a middle class family in the suburbs of Central City. He was born with a power which he himself deemed the most useless power ever. He couldn't turn it on or off, couldn't control it or directed. The power was devistating in it's simplicity; Anyone who got within a 100ft radius of Nil lost the ability to use their powers untill they were out of range. Ofcourse since Nil didn't have to do anything to use it and didn't do anything to pinpoint him as the source he was never bothered about it and his parents didn't go spreading that information around. They did do one thing to hint at it thougj, by naming him Nil.

Nil grew up uneventfully. He had two younger sisters and an older brother. They lived in a nice safe neighbourhood. The most dangerous thing there being the playground bullies. Nil had been targetted on occasion, but he always faught back, making him an unappealing target. He's always had a strong moral compass though, so he tended to get in quite a few scrapes over the course of his childhood trying to help others.

This probably was what kept him from ever being popular, despite being decent at sports, being friendly and extroverted. It's always been easy to like Nil, but with his tendancy to side with the underdog, highschool is a cruel world.

Nil gets along with his family just fine, they're quite close knit with his parents actively taking an interest in their childrens life's and making sure they stay in line, in school and get passable grades.

While Nil loves his parents, he's itching to move out and live on his own and to start making his own choices in life. He's looking for some adventure, but when adventure finds you, you might just get a little more then you wished for.
