Wow! No one has posted here yet? Well... Guess I'll be the first...

So is this true?

I sure hope so... because I'm sick of everyone talking about that Sonic Fan Film that came out earlier last year...

It may still be a LONG time before anything else is said about this, but who knows?

With the show coming out later this year, it seems probable. But I would think that they would release the movie first, and then the show if it was completely legitimate.

While the idea sounds great, can anyone name a game made into a movie that was good? that's what worries me.

It can't be true. Wouldn't it be really hard to have a TV show in the making, a video game based on the TV show, and a movie all at once? I could understand two, but isn't three just overkill? I doubt that they'd do so many programs all at once.

It's a good reason to be worried. Doom, Max Payne, and Far Cry are some pretty good examples of great games turned into terribly cheesy movies. Then there was that rumor about Quentin Tarantino wanting to make a Half-Life movie... Sooooooo glad that never worked out...

But anyway, I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned that there's already an actual full-length Sonic movie that came out in 1999, and it's pretty good from what I remember. May not be the same universe the newer-generation Sonic fans are used to, but it's definitely worth a watch. Smile
