"Well then, Sylus." said Chikanere, "Shall we go to the mortal relm?"

"Ugh!" growled Rhine, "You know even if you don't kill me, Leo can never return to his body. It is beyond my power. I am here only for show. It is Sylus you want."

"Yes mistress but for the show I must ask you to leave young max and azrael out of our scurmish for now." Sylus said. "They are key parts in a plan I've been making for years."

Max came out. "Wrong again Rhine. I know a trick or two from sylus. And with him not in Leo's body anymore there is a vacancy for a soul." Leo smiled goin out of max's body and back into his own to rest.

Chikanere opened a portal out of the void and said "I do not understand what your plan is with them, but get that emerald for Rhine and quickly."

"Then if that is how it ends," cursed Rhine, "what of me do you plan on doing?"

Suddenly a black portal opened behind the lion.

Giro smiled. Moving the sword.

Max sighed. "You still have to get jewels back and I need to go bouce around with fisker" he dashed off

Sylus grabbed the peice kay had. "It's only a peice mistress"

"Only a shard?" said Rhine with surprise, "That explains why he was easier to defeat.."

"Proffessor!" cried Steam as he saw Sylus with the shard in his hand.

Sylus smirked. "The shard speaks to it's brothers. Rhine capture the walabe, the rest of the shards are housed within his arm."

The black lion roared tackling sylus wrestling him for the shard.

Giro tossed the blade to steam. "Catch!"

Maxus snarled racing in throwing his black flames to make an arena like area around them.

Wrathven swooped in and grabed the shard that Sylus had before he hit the ground.

"Nice timing, Wrathven!" said Rhine as she knocked the sword away from it's intended destination, "Now hand over the remaining piece of Myrkky!"

"Shut it, Witch!" cursed Steam pulling out a umbrella with a steel canopy.

Suddenly a dart shot out and, though it went under Rhine, hit Sylus in his back.

From a distance, Chikanere watched, not making any attemped to fight in the battle. "You still watching, Azrael?"

"I have to I'm connected to sylus through the energy he took" azrael said standing with her

Sylus roared. Snorting. He threw black lion. Off not knowing what the dart would do

"She did it!" called Steam pointing at Rhine.

Azrael sighed. "Your bull seems to have anger issues"

Sylus snarled doing a full on charge at steam. And a charging demon bull was something steam needed to get out of fast

Little g turned into a hand gun. Giro grabbed him and fired at sylus.

Steam quickly raise the umbrella and it's canopy folded into a giro-copter. Steam raise himself up over Sylus as charged passed.

"You know.." said Chikanere, "The reason I'm over here with you is that Sylus has some aura that is draining the life force of those around him. It's not going fast but it will weaken them till only the black lion remains"

Much like your ability to eat souls?" Azrael asked


Sylus snarled. Grabbin steams leg dragging him down only to be body checked by Maxus and the black lion

"I eat my souls in one shot." said Chikanere, "Sylus drinks his slowly."

When Sylus let got, Steam dropped a mouser bomb onto his head.

"Don't think you'll get away from me!" cursed Rhine hitting Steam with a firy ring.

Maxus smirked stoping the ring. "Never sling fire near a fire demon!" He shot it back at Rhine

The black lion and sylus wrestled growling. Like the hulk and red hulk going at eachother for strength.

Azrael nodded. "He likes to savor the taste. Isn't he been tryin to bring you around for milennia? He's the only demon I head of who used the void"

"Concidered that I am far younger then you," said Chikanere, "It only feel like a millennia."

Rhine seemed to fade as the ring passed through her. "Don't try to use my attacks on me!" snorted Rhine as she tossed her chain of lightning.

Maxus jumped stomping sending pillars of fire at Rhine

"You know while we are at a truce for now. If you need me for anything you know where to find me" azrael said. "But I will not harm mortals. It's against my ways"

"I beleive mortal would go for something called popcorn right about now.." said Chikanere, "Do you mind?"

The chain hit Steam's giro copter sending him to the ground.

Rhine put up a wall of stone around her, Blocking Maxus's attack.

"Time to change it up." said Rhine as she changed into her dark mage form.

Azrael smiled. "Your lucky I piped some before I left the village today" he handed her a bag.

"Let's step it up" Maxus said as demonic energy turned him into his demonic feral form

Giro was in his exo suit catching steam. "Steam we need to grabb the proffessor and get out of here with the rest of the gem while we can"

Sylus snorted throwing the black lion off. "Rhine cool down you still have another life tied to you. I suggest you hunt down your thief at te harbor while she's still there

"Why do you think I change to this?" she creaked with an old haggish voice. Rhine suddenly teleported away from the battle before anyone could do something.

"She's getting away!" cursed Steam, "And my giro copter is fried! Plus we still need to deal with Sylus here!"

Chikanere started to eat the popcorn and said "These are salty..How do mortals eat this?"

"It's better with butter. But I don't eat it either."

Big g got off giro. "Take the exosuit and head for the harbor. I'll help the black lion with sylus. And get the shard."

Sylus snorted. "You can try technomancer." 

"I'm not just a technomancer."

Maxus tenced. "Giro no dont! Letting him out too risky"

Dark necromatic energy flowed around giro

"You are forgetting one thing Giro!" cursed Steam as he jumped to the ground.

Steam aimed his brass arm at Sylus and opened a tri-barreled cannon.Before Sylus did anything a shrap bang went off behind the demon.

"Where did she go?" cursed Rhine as she looked about the harbor.

"Hold your knicker, Witch!" cursed a voice behind her.

Rhine turned and only just managed to avoid Jess's surprise attack.

A blac hedgehog now stood there. "The name isn't giro!" He snapped "the weakling let me loose

Sylus tenced a little before the shots burned. "Your weapon is useless."

"That wasn't my weapon." cursed Steam, "That was one of my mouser bombs!"

Steam's arm cannon started to charge up with energy.

"So you've headed this way." cursed Rhine, "What makes you think you'll beat me?"

"You're going to let go of Jewels or I'll pummel you to dust!" cursed Jess as she pounced.

"Jess! Stop! "Max got in front of her. "She can't. She and jewels are bond"

The hedgehog glared at steam. "Hey tech junky back of and do as my whimp of a brother said!"

Maxus growled. "Necro shut up and hold sylus"

"Urgh!!!" grunted Steam as the cannon countinued to charge, "This..Is.."

"Foolish boy!" laughed Rhine as she tossed a crimson dart into Max's back causing unbarable amounts of pain to his before rushing off into the harbor.
