Re: When Gods Bleed for Mercy
"Oh, not one of your race, Many-Tail," she replied with a grin, "Nay. Those more suitable to deliver swift and certain punishment to evil! Ah, what do you call them, hm, hm..." she tapped her chin, "Ah! Mercanaaarees? Mircaners? Something like that. Or that other word with, like, hm, ackasspins? Saspatins? You know what I mean! I'm not good with your language, pah!" With a royal huff, Zankh put her hands on her hips and turned her head away, muttering a few words in her own native tongue that sounded more like various insect-esque noises and clicks of the tongue than actual words, "The things I must do to blend in, hmph."
The white-furred creature examined the kitsune once more, "Never say you cannot do something! To escape the bounds placed upon you is most worthy of the reward of freedom! Your acts have been disgusting, foul and monstrous. Perhaps the freedom you require will cleanse the sins placed upon you."

''you mean Mercenaries? or assasins?'' Cyril asks, raising an eyebrow at the weird noises she makes. ''Hmm, might be an idea. Though who to ask... I know some assasins. Though i am not really well liked by those two. Hmm, could try and talk with them if i can not find anyone else. Though where to look for such a person. and how to be sure he or she can be trusted. Yes, i know i sound hypocritic but eh, details. And my acts foul? Monstrous? Miss, you should see some of the other members of my race.''

Re: When Gods Bleed for Mercy
She clicked her three fingers, "That was the word I was looking for! Now I am not one to allow murder of all things, and what a word that chills me to the core, but it must be done to prevent further damage!" She raised her hands and jumped, grip hooking around a low branch of a tree as she swung her legs from side to side, watching him carefully, "And Many-Tail, I do not wish to hear. Rather, I fear for the answers you would spew, and my sickness which would follow suit. For the sake of my well-being, please refrain from it."
She huffed silently, swinging her legs further until she finally managed to bring her entire body around, landing neatly atop that branch while crouched, examining the scenery before her. "Seen anything strange here the past few days, Many-Tail?"

''Fine fine. i'll spare ya the details.'' Cyril comments. ''Though, It might be a good thing i stay on this world now that i think about it. As long as i am here he won't be able to summon something worse then me. And as for your question? Not much. though a while ago i did meet a creature that looked like you. he, or atleast i think it was a he. was wounded pretty badly, so i brought it to a hospital.''

Re: When Gods Bleed for Mercy
"Looked like me?" she gasped, "Ah, oh dear! It must have been one of my subjects!" She quickly grew paranoid, eyes shifting quickly across the grass for any signs of another, "Ah, oh dear, oh..." she muttered words, again with those clicks of the tongue and those unusual noises from her lips and her throat, "Impossible impossible, I told them not to stray so far. But it's their choice, but they know the risks, but... but.." She leapt off the branch gracefully, great white fur billowing in her swift movement, landing on her bare feet as she approached the black mobian, "When was this? Ah dear, I should have been there... Mm, mmmm...." It was obvious she was worried, more so when she twirled around to look about anxiously, "Mm mm mm! This cannot do!"
"What hospital?" she asked, or more it was a command from the tone of her voice, and a rather vicious one at that from the blazing protective instincts, "Where did you place them? When was this? Ah, tell me, tell me! I must know!"

''Calm down. Calm down. Last time i saw him he looked pretty good. I brough him to Central City's hospital. I could quickly bring you there if you want to?'' Cyril asks, letting out a slight chuckle. ''Though that reminds me. My older brother is gonna be pissed...''

She glanced down for but a moment, drumming her fingers lightly across her forehead as the unusual mobian began to think, "Central, Central... The... closest one here, yes. Big kingdom," she muttered more unusual clicks and sounds to herself as the rich-furred creature contemplated many things, before straightening her back with authority, "I can head there myself, but I thank you kindly for the direction and for your help, Many-Tail," through her brow did furrow, "And why is that? Is your sibling in trouble too? Ah, we must rescue him at once!" Pause, "Ah, you must. I cannot. I have a duty."

''No, he is fine. Has apparently made his home at Central. No. He is gonna be pissed of since i kinda made sure to sent him the bill for the treatment of your friend. Though, would you mind if i tag along? I'm kinda curious how he is doing now'' The kitsune comments,a slight grin at the part about sending the bill to his elder sibling.

The white creature smiled, extending a hand towards the black kitsune before her as she offered a bow once more, "Ah, I am most grateful indeed, Many-Tail! There is little generosity and kindness to be found within these parts, even if from a conflicted murderous poor soul like yourself! Ah heh..." Her voice fell into a drawn-in mumbling, glancing downwards before looking right back up at him, "Do you wish to lead the way? Again, ever so kind! You have told me the suffering of one of my dear subjects, and offer to see them with me for the sake of easing your own soul!"

A twitch of those pointy and furry ears and a flick against the back of her head is what she gets as a reaction. ''I heard that, lady. I am not murderous. If i were you would have been dead already.'' He grumbles. ''Let's go. '' And the kitsune wanders off in the direction of central city, his nine bushy tails swaying through the air, every so often brushing over the ground, kicking up dust.

Re: When Gods Bleed for Mercy
Admittedly she did flinch when he spoke out against her mutterings, more so when he said he could kill her. And if her fur did not raise earlier, it certainly raised now as she paused, watching him walk forward, her voice raising, "Do not speak ill like that, Many-Tail!" Zankh barked, wiggling a scolding finger towards him, "To threaten is not to be marked within the good books of others!"
It didn't take long, not even a minute, before the creature followed suit after the black-furred kitsune. She kept a steady hand on the hilt of her sword as her grey-furred feet shuffled through the grass, blades brushing against her. She wavered through, occasionally pausing to raise a branch for herself and frowned in slight annoyance when the occasional leaf would graze against her face or body, "I was never good with forests. A shame my royal fur does not bode well against the dark."

''And you really think i give a fuck about that?'' The kitsune snaps at her, stopping and turning around, glaring down on the female. ''I only help you because you are of the same race as someone i know. If you can't live with that and for the rest accept i hate everyone on this goddamned planet then get the fuck out of my sight!''

Re: When Gods Bleed for Mercy
Once again, she drew her sword from within the sheath, and once again did her eyes reflect fear of her well-being as she took a good few steps away from the kitsune, pointing her weapon towards him, slight stain of red on the blade glimmering faintly in the sunlight. She grit her teeth. This fellow was unstable, and it was terrifying to her. One minute, he was calm, the next he was aggressive towards her. "I will not go with you, Many-Tail of the Cursed," Zankh stammered, pressing herself against a tree trunk as her eyes scanned a way to flee. She muttered something under her breath, again in some sort of weird language of clicks and squeaks.

Re: When Gods Bleed for Mercy
A somewhat surprised and fearful look appears on his face when the female creature points her sword at him again, causing him to back off.
''Then leave. I am sure as hell not gonna stop you.'' The kitsune scoffs again, stepping aside to let her pass. ''Come on then. get out of here''
He somewhat wonders what she is saying in that weird language

"FINE," she snarled with bared teeth as her royal voice rose due to his attitude towards her, those tendril-like quills against her back quivering lightly with fury as her grip hardened on her bladed weapon. Her eyes narrowed with disdain and she took another step back from the kitsune, onto the forest path, "I held my pity for you, Many-Tail. Perhaps your rudeness shows you are not to be trusted after all." She exhaled, calming herself for but a brief moment before she swiftly turned and walked. Her bare, grey feet digging into the dirt with each furious step, "I shall make it there myself, without the help of a cursed being."

''pssh'' The vulpine scoffs, watching her go. ''And of course you are too arrogant to even realise you started this nonsense.'' He comments, turning around to walk off. ''Perhaps you should try working on that. Royalty or not, people will not accept that kind of attitude from you,no matter if it was the way you were raised or not''

Re: When Gods Bleed for Mercy
"Me? Me?" she repeated quite a few times in her foreign tone, turning her heels to glare at the kitsune once more with bared teeth as her royal anger continued to rise steadily with each word he spoke, "Are you not the one who issued threats and foul words in my direction? I simply gave harmless advice, and you are the one who ordered me to leave a mere few seconds after helping me!" Zankh spat, clenching her three-fingered fists with a single stomp of her foot, "You are a dangerous, unstable being. You are the one who lashed out against me for no ill reason! You are, YOU are...-!" And, once again, from her mouth came various high-pitched sounds of clicks and squeaks from the back of her throat, and it didn't take much intelligence to know that she was saying rather unladylike things about him.
"My attitude?" she continued after that small outburst of foreign noises, "I am Zankh of the Ankojin Kingdom, I am Queen of my people and slayer of GODS, and you will NOT say that I have a 'bad attitude' when you are a killer!" Her pupils dilated into tiny slits, and it was pretty much obvious that his very existence was an insult to her at this point and each word he spoke made it worse, "I have met many people and they have never been so foul and disgusting towards me like you have. I have met many, heard many stories, and none have treated me with utmost disrespect like you have!" Each word she uttered from her own mouth seemed to make her anger rise, like she was confirming to herself that it was rational - she may as well have been red to the face.
"I do not need your help, murderer. I do not need the help of a cursed tailed-one who cannot control themselves. Any fate you bring upon yourself is of your own accord, and I will feel no sympathies for you when you find yourself at an inconvenience." Zankh sighed, composing herself, though the glare remained as well as her shaking, frail figure, "To think, I liked you. But I suppose it was foolish of me to think that one who kills can be considered relatable."

''My behaviour is a result of your insulting tone lying underneath your advice. That is why i am pissed off,why i say those things i said. Don't tell me you never get pissed when someone says something... well, hurtful is not the right word but you get my point. And for your information. I have not even touched anyone in the last six months or so.'' He replies, seeming to be very calm now. He then turns around and walks off.

"And, pray tell, what exactly did I say that was insulting?" Zankh inquired with carefully narrowed eyes, slowly following the obsidian-furred fellow from behind, matching his footstep movements with her own almost flawlessly, "I simply said that one's foul actions and words do not bode well into well-favour with others, an yet your actions and words twisted monstrously and unfairly!"

He sighs, turning around to face her again. ''A bit ago you said you were happy and grateful that there is some generosity and kindness in some people but you added a few words about it being from a conflicted and murderous soul as mine with murderous being whispered. That is what started my annoyance and i snapped. I will admit that was not the right thing to do and for that i do apologise. And from there a argument sparked that only got both of us more and more pissed off, leading to this.''

Re: When Gods Bleed for Mercy
"Because I stated the truth?" Zankh responded without hesitation after his little speech there, "Your apology is accepted by myself, Cursed Many-Tail, but I shall not apologise for simply stating what is, since you indeed did inform me of you performing such foul and wretched acts. One cannot dismiss this, and while I feel no ill towards you and your kind for being trapped within a situation you cannot help, and I do understand this I really do, it does not sprinkle good-will onto your past regrets." She huffed, yet her eyes grew gentle as she stared at him for a moment longer. "Allow me the honor of telling you a story, Many-Tail. And perhaps it may shed light onto your little situation."
She took a deep breath, motioning him to sit with a wave of the hand as she spoke, "You see, there are... scriptures I have read of a small kingdom. Very small, pardon, minuscule even. Yet within was a Queen, and her dear, humble people who she loved with all her heart. She was a merciful leader, but her people were growing weak. Scared. They believed in a mighty god that had abandoned them. The Queen could not leave, and all she could do was watch her people die. Because it was written that is what she must do. She had no choice. It had been that was for eons, and it was never-changing."
She sheathed her sword, picking up a leaf to examine it within her fingertips idly as she spoke, "Like you, she was woven within strings. A grand tale, but a tragic one. Like you were forced to slay, she was forced to watch her people be slain. So she decided her own fate. She decided to kill a god," a smile, but not one of malice no, but a gentle curl of the lips, "And succeeded." The leaf fell from her grip, swaying with the coming wind and brushing against the dirt at her feet, "She disbanded her people, she ordered them to make their own paths, no longer confined within the space they were forced to occupy as decreed by the god itself. She changed fate, and she was no longer a Queen, but she was happy," Zankh laughed a little, casting her gaze over the kitsune once more, "And like the Queen of the ages, you can change your own fate. There are ways around everything you know, Many-Tail. There are ways to make you happy. Find them. Reach for them, and by slaying your own inner god may you find peace not only with yourself, but those you have hurt in the past."

And sitting down he does when the female motions towards him, listening with attention to her story. He think about what she is saying, looking straight ahead. ''Perhaps you are right'' Looking up towards her. ''But, if i may ask. Where should i begin? In your opinion?''

"Inform me of your history, Many-Tail!" the creature declared with a confident smirk and puffed cheeks of determination, "Your lore! Your past and the past of your people! For one must know their enemy before they fight it, and we too much know the realms we delve in before we venture on!" She extended a hand to him to help him back on his feet. "Recite me the stories of ages, as you yourself have experienced them! Educate me! And through this power of word-trade we shall set your bounds free and you may live your own life!" With these speeches and her rich tone of voice, she honestly could be a theater actor at this point.

Taking her outstretched hand Cyril stands up,looking her in the eyes for a bit before looking up. ''I am the eldest child of Eomi, A voidkitsune and current head of our family, and Ahoyd, An earth elemental. I got one twin brother by the name of Kuushou who is a about 35 minutes younger then me,making me the current heir to our family. As for my age, In mortal counting i am about twenty three now. In my own Kin's i am around twenty threethousand. We age slower. I have been born a few decennia before my Father's race was banished to the plane they currently inhabit. I was banished along with them because i am part elemental. For a large amount of m life, till about two years ago, i have lived in that plane, mostly wandering about, learning to use my abilities. Appearance wise i mostly take after my mother. Abilties wise i take after my father. About two years ago i was exploring one of the many caves my now homeworld is riddled with when i felt something pulling on me. While that was happening things went black and when i woke up i was in this world, these bracers i now wear stuck around my arms.''

"And how did you know of the order placed upon you?" she inquired, tapping her chin. Now that wasn't what she expected to hear - she had little information to help free him after all, "How did you know of your task? The journey you were forced to partake in?" She shook her head, "I am not envious of your age, Many-Tail. You must have many stories, many tales, many songs of your people you should share with the world. Many heroics and tragedies! Alas, a life lived for so long is a sad one indeed. For my own people live to be three... hun...dred years? Estimately? I do hope I got that right..."
She shook her head again, eyes lighting up with a brightness of curiosity, "But back on track! I babble, I most certainly do! But come, there must be more to the tale you tell! What can you remember? There must be something!"
