Primal Hunger

"(Don't worry, i will.)"

She winks at him and then leaves the library.

"So what do you say Sonic,shall we get started on saving the planet"?

"Well it's about time isn't it! How are the registers thing going for you?"

He asked as he was preparing the local communicator for the defense and attack team.

"It's a bit strange but nows the time for fighting. On my way Sonic". Shadow gets his trusty pistols

"Got it. Starting attack team release."

And so Sonic released them with the defense team as well, and they began running for it while trying to find any fakes roaming around. They were teleported outside of the base and they began attacking the attack team while the defense team waited close to the teleporter. The battle was going good until the base was finally opened and the rest of the fakes were released with Fake Sonic controlling them all. 

Rouge and Kory decided to join the attack team and do what they could to destroy those fakes the best they could. The battle was getting a little bit tough.. It only got worse when Lolla couldn't resist his control either and began fighting on Fake Sonic's side against their will, making Kory's part of the fight get even harder. Sonic also went out there and tried to fight as well, even if he was mentally and emotionally unstable now.

Shadow shoots the fakes as fast as he can."Sonic are you doing ok? These last few hours have taken a toll on you".

"I-I'm fine!! AGH-"   He kicks a fake far off as he tries to fight another.

"Go for the kill while you can! And don't forget to watch Kory!!"
He smiles nervously.

"OK. Stay safe Blue. I love you". Shadow goes further into the battle.

A fake tails is cower in fear as he slowly walk to The blue hero.. "Please Sonic. Don't hurt me. I Thought we were brothers".

Sonic looks at the fake Tails in fear, but... He focuses.. 

"... My bro doesn't tremble like that."

His face is filled with silent anger as he spin dashes right into the fake.

The fake dashes to the side fear replaced with anger. "He did when I killed him". The fake uses his tails to fly just out of reach.

Sonic uses his shotgun to try to take him down as he aims the best that he can.

"NEXT TIME TAKE SOME TIME ON YOUR ACTING YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!"

He yells at he keeps shooting.

The fake wasn't expecting Sonic to use a gun. The shot Injuries tails causing him to fall with a thud. "Th...the memories.....you don't kill......"

"The memories are here, but you're not him. NEVER use my family like that again."
He steps on his head with all his might, trying to break his skull.

A loud crunch is heard as the fake is killed

Meanwhile, Kory could be seen in the distance by Shadow. She seemed to be surrounded by fakes who were preparing their teeth to munch on her skin, but in a move of fear and impulse, she throws down the White Chaos Emerald down as quick as she could, and the result was.. Something else.

A large smoke explosion took the scene, making the fakes step back coughing aggressively. And once the smoke cleared, a large glowing white liquid could be seen on the ground. Something comes out of it or.. Someone..?

It had the same form as Kory but its whole body was black, aside from the irises, large upward pointed horns and some details on the body like the tail and stripes circulating the joints of the limbs that were glowing a neon white.
It looked around and winked, as it waited for the fakes to give any response to that other form.

The fake Sonic walks forward
Cautiously. "And just who might you be"?

"... Guess ya didn't saw me, huh?~ Let's see if ya can recognize me when i got mah fist on ye face."


It sounded like Kory's voice, so it has to be her. And since it is her, she uses this new form to distract and battle against the other fakes as she slowly gets to Fake Sonic to fight him off. Her attacks looked like she was using the power of that strange white liquid to her favor as she could use it as arms, weapons and even shields.

"Keep her busy. Im going to grab us lunch", he runs to the teleporter

The defense team immediately started shooting as they saw him, not stopping until he was killed.

The body disseared as it was a copy from the ruby. The true fake Sonic laughed seeing the power work. He creates countless copies to swarm the teleporter

They kept on shooting everything even if it was too much for them. They had to be brave and they won't give up.

Seeing his chance the fake Sonic speeds his way through the defenders to use the teleporter.

But before he could reach it, they immediately shut it off on his face. Rouge soon joins the team and goes for the Fake Sonic as well.

"No...We can't lose like this...You may gave won the battle but we shall win the war.

The fakes all gather to Fake Sonic as they retreat to fight another day.

And the remaining of the resistance celebrates their first victory as they both heal up everyone who participated and clean up some of the messes. 
Unfortunately they lost great soldiers and.. Kory lost Lolla to the battle. She got shot in the head by one of the fakes pretending to be one of the soldiers and Kory ended up having more mental trauma than she had before.

As they got back to the Ark, Kory was set to rest in one of the most fancy looking recreation areas in the whole space colony. She at alone in front of the pools in silence as her head kept cramping after crying for the loss of the most important person she tried to protect for most of her life.
