Appearance:  Ashley is a young anthropomorphic phoenix standing at 4'0"(121.9 cm) and weighing approximately 100 pounds(45.4 Kg), with an athletic-yet-soft pear shape. Naturally she has red body feathers with golden feathers along her arms/wings. She has sky blue eyes, three relatively short, round tail feathers, wing-like arms, a golden beak, and spiky head feathers with short bangs. She tends to wear a sky blue scarf, a black pair of aviator goggles, a snug, black tank top with her midriff bare, a belt holding up her black jeans, and black soap shoes.

Personality: Pyra is known for being kinda hot headed, kinda birdbrained, and trying too hard to be cool. First impressions tend to be awful, making her seem like a weirdo or a creep, and her naivety doesn't help in that regard. But, she's very fun loving, child-like, and kind. 
With that in mind, she's also very passionate and determined, a fighter who knows her priorities. She's a bounty hunter, doing questionable work both for money and because she finds it fun. She is loyal to her sister and friends, but beyond that she's a hedonist wanting money, sleep, food, and fun and will do what she can to get it within the bounds of her own morality. Pyra may have her own vices, and may not be too smart, but like her sister she's kind. A heroine after a pay so she can eat, sure, but still a heroine. 



Combat traits

Powers: Pyra, being an anthropomorphic bird with wing-like arms, can fly naturally. 
Pyra has biothermal fire manipulation, meaning she uses her powers by extending the extreme heat of her body out in the form of flames. While she can't really manipulate fire, she can shoot flames out of her mouth, cover her appendages in flames for fire melee, fire her own feathers at people while setting them on fire, and increase her speed with her own variation of the Sonic Boost, the Flame Step. While Flame Step is active, her feet are covered in flames and she leaves a trail of hot embers, increasing her speed and damage from flame kicks. While in the air, she can set her tail feathers on fire to give him the appearance of a jet and increase her acceleration. Her signature move is Pyroboom, a spherical AoE attack that surrounds Pyra in flames within a 9 yard radius, being heavily telegraphed by her screaming out “Pyroboom!” This technique drains her and has high risk of her passing out afterward.
When her internal body temperature reaches a high enough point, she bursts into flames, taking on the form she calls “Star Pyra”, which gives her external fire manipulation, minor passive healing, doubles her attributes/stats and powers, and provides touch damage against others due to being on fire, though she's not invincible and it only lasts 5 RP turns.

History
Not a lot is known about her previous lives before her last rebirth, but she's been reborn at least five times and overall she's around as old as Helios is. In her first life, it's known that by some means she actually witnessed Tiranus, and that as a result her mind has been slowly deteriorating every rebirth. Most phoenixes eventually remember their past lives, but seemingly due to this mind scarring experience, every life is blocked out from her mind. In her second life, she left the floating island and since then she's lived on the Mobian surface. 
Julie's parents found a crying baby bird in a pile of ashes shortly after Julie was born, and unsure of what to do, took the child in to raise them alongside Julie. Since then, Julie tried coming out as trans to their parents, and when they rejected her, Pyra confronted them. It wasn't long before Pyra also realized she was trans, and after more stress with their family, the two sisters were forced to leave, lived on the road for around a year, and they met Shelby and her two children Jack and Bonnie in Station Square, who let Julie and Pyra live with them. 
During their time living on the road, Pyra took interest in becoming a bounty hunter, since it meant she could earn money fighting criminals.
