Jungle Money

Been ruminating on a few plot ideas for Rps recently.

How's this:

The government begins to advertise positions for a special team, they're looking for qualified individuals to undergo an expedition into the jungle to excavate some long-lost ruins. Very little information is given about the assignment itself, other than the fact that it'll be a paid expedition, and that all expenses will be covered. All that is required is prior experience in the field of investigation.

I like this idea! Mostly because my main OC lives in a jungle, so it's in his home setting.
I would definitely join this rp.

This sounds like a promising idea.
I'll keep an eye on it in case I find where I buried my writing inspiration.

I'll leave the signup open until the end of the week, but once we start people can still join relatively early into the story. By the looks of things this'll be a very interesting lineup

I had a character that'd be good for this, but I'm not sure if I could use her due to her having an item which may or may not be illegal. (What I am referring to is the Phantom ruby shards, in the canon item list, it doesn't seem like they decided yet)
But if a decision is still not made by then, I'll try and join, despite the neutered character.

I... can't lay down a ruling because I'm not any sort of admin, but the Phantom Ruby has been undecided since Mania was released 3 years ago. I'm not sure what the Phantom Ruby Shards are but if it's anything like the Master Emerald Shards I'm imagining the admins won't allow it?

EDIT: Ok sorry, so I did a little research (God it's been a long time) on the phantom ruby shards and I beleive what that post is referring to are the "Phantom Ruby prototypes" which, as far as I'm aware are all in the Empires possession. Again, like I said; I can't just lay down a ruling. However: I imagine having one is parrallel to being an ARK project, which isn't allowed. As for the Phantom Ruby itself, the actual whereabouts of it hasn't been made public so I would say safely it's off the table.

That is understandable, again, I’ll still join, it is merely a matter of my character not having a chunk of her past or powers, still very functional however.

Alright, real sorry she won't be able to join us in all her glory, but everyone is a valuable asset to the team, so thank you.

If anyone would like clarification on certain aspects before the post at the end of the week I'd be glad to answer. (Of course some things will need to remain secret for plot)

I'm definitely in on this roleplay! One question though. Is there going to be a main villain in the story of this roleplay? (If so is it decided yet?) If it hasn't been decided yet (if there is one at all) I have a good oc that could be used for a villainous character.
