The Menace Below

Plot:
The sewers of Central City have always been a place of danger, disgust, and ominous fear. While workers of the city routinely go down there for maintenance there have been recent disappearances by members of the local city Department of Health contractors. While search and rescue teams have been dispatched below to investigate and locate the lost workers they have eventually turned up missing as well leading to some slight paranoia about the events taking place in the sewers beneath the city. Now rumors are spreading that the sewage systems are cursed, haunted, or filled with some sort of nightmarish mutant like creature. However, soon the worst shall be discovered, the Skavbians are coming.




Starter:
For weeks now the incident has been on the local news all over Central City. While it wasn’t rather exciting above ground the incidents have never the less began to worry the board of commissions within the cities administration. Not only have the workers who routinely would inspect, fix, and manage the city’s sewage system gone missing, but now the very search and rescue party that was sent down there as well. It was in the tabloids in the paper today and even a CCN news story was played this morning about the incident. However more sinister speculations have been heard around that this maybe the work of dark forces at play. The mayor of Central City has however continued to reassure the people that the situation is being looked into and that a mere tunnel collapse is to blame of what has happened.
