Appearance:
Dr. Koren is a slender Gray Wolf measuring 4'11".  His fur is primarily a dark steel-gray, but is a bit lighter on his muzzle, inner ears, belly/chest, and the underside of his tail.  He has black hair with a white Skunk Stripe that is tied into a ponytail on the back of his head.  He has serious-looking orange eyes with black markings on the outer corners.  His right arm is a silver cybernetic implant with a hand that can retract and be replaced by surgical tools and a tranquilizer dart launcher.

His attire consists of a white coat over powder-blue scrubs, a matching powder-blue surgical glove on his left hand, and black boots.

Personality:
Dr. Koren puts on a facade of being a caring, well-respected surgeon, but is, in reality, a greedy and sadistic supporter of Machina who uses his position to maim and kill those whom his superiors consider a threat.  He is a firm believer in radical Transmobianism who will offer those he maims the opportunity to be "upgraded" in return for allegiance to Machina.

History
Reginald Koren showed signs of being a psychopath with a love for cutting things open as early as his preteen years, when he cut open his family's cat to "see what made [it] tick."  Due to his manipulative nature, however, he was able to convince his parents to let him go to medical school to become a surgeon.  He graduated with high honors and eventually went to work at Station Square Surgical Hospital, where he would perform enough successful operations to maintain a good reputation.

After having killed his own father by botching a heart surgery, he was contacted by agents of Machina, who offered him commissions for "disabling" those who threatened the organization, as well as a cybernetic "upgrade" that would afford him greater precision in his surgeries.  He happily agreed to become a covert operative and received a cybernetic right arm fitted with various surgical tools and a dart launcher.

His first job for Machina was to incapacitate Janet Lucia, a homicide detective with the Station Square Police Department who threatened to expose them while investigating the murder of Professor Hiroki Mitsuda.  He performed, and deliberately botched, a hernia repair surgery on the detective, earning the contempt of both her and her daughter.
