Free join RP: Fallout New Mobius

Plot:

It's been nearly 200 years since the Second Great Dimensional War finished, and both Mobian and mankind were almost on the verge of extinction. The GUN, the Egg Empire, the Order? Who knows who fired first, but it matters not as the Apocalypse came to Mobius. Some were lucky and were able to seek shelter in hidden subterranean bunkers, others were not as fortunate. Still, humanity and Mobianity are strong and stubborn species as those daring enough were able to exit these bunkers and try to rebuild the remnants of society. Others however do so for less than noble reasons and the wasteland that was once Mobius is fraught with danger and immorality. What will your character do to survive in this devastated world?

The hot blazing sun beamed down on the small little town of Daresville.This quaint and quiet little shanty town on the outskirts of the city of Lanta was one of the very few surviving traces of civilization left to sprout up ever since the bombs fell. What would be considered normally an otherwise uninteresting rural ghost town eventually became one of the few mostly unhampered bastions of society as the town was fortunate to be located away from the blast radius.

Within the town however there was a small black furred fox who look like he was famished and burning up as he got off the ground and slowly moved through the village. Nobody knew who he was, but what was known was that he was packing a heater and a canteen of water.

Aero sat quietly in one of the abandoned buildings he had made his home as he watch the streets of the small town, keeping an eye out for suspicious people. He had only recently came to town a few days ago, trading his protection for materials and others things he needed as it was more clean then taking on assassination jobs or having to fight his way through the wastelands. ~I sure hope we don't have trouble today, i don't wanna deal with any bandit groups again~ the town was mostly quiet as people went about there business, buying, selling, trading. As shade watched he noticed a black fox walking down  the street carrying a canteen and something else he couldn't make out, the fox looked in bad condition as he continued down the street. ~Now he's new~ Aero thought he kept watching the fox ~Probably a bad idea to be carrying water in a place like this. its quiet and somewhat ok but you could still get killed if someone was desperate enough, i better follow to make sure nothing happens~. Aero opened his window and climbed onto roof, keeping to the inside of the roofs edge as to not be seen.

The fox moved onwards as he was seemingly unaware of the onlooker above. That, or he just didn't care to look as he moved down the road towards the saloon. Upon closer inspection it would appear that he had got caught up with some sort of scuffle as his clothing was scratched and it looked like he was only slightly wounded around the waist. However, the wanderer held his revolver close and observed others as he moved towards the cantina.  Due to not having the same vantage point he didn't notice Aero and his gun was directed more towards any assailants on the ground rather than above.

Still, most of the town was rather calm and quaint. The remnants of this village was known as a nice pit stop on the way into Lanta and it's inhabitants were known for being a group of 'honest folk' as prospectors, mutant ranchers, and what little form of farming and agriculture they could muster. Still, outside the town of Daresville all sort of monster, renegade, raider, and psychopath surrounded the outskirts.

Aero kept following as the fox made his way into cantina ~Better follow him~ Aero quickly pulled his cloth garments and coverings up as to not give away he was a machine and teleported into a side ally below, exiting it ahead of the fox and entered the cantina. Finding a spot in the corner and sitting down he watched the doorway, waiting on the fox to enter.

Inside the cantina there was very little, yet mostly normal people inside. A few Mobians here and there mixed with some humans of different varieties that one would expect in such a place. However, the place looked old and not just from the walled up windows and the fact most utilities and items inside the establishment had survived a radioactive wasteland and was perhaps salvaged for the most part. Still, the atmosphere in the establishment was rather lively as if it were a normal saloon filled with the cowboys of yore. Games of card was played, a surviving jukebox was playing, and even people were being served as normal by the locals. However, the food that was being prepared looked like it was just caught and cooked as large amount of mutant flesh and meat was being served.

Meanwhile the fox walked in the door and looked around him. As the traveler entered the saloon everyone looked at him and slowly grabbed their guns as if to make ready should he had been hostile. However, the vulpine sheathed his own revolved and nood as if to indicate that he didn't want to cause trouble as he took off his wind protector to reveal a green eyed normal vulpine face of a rather youthful adult Mobian. The others saw in his eyes that of fellow adversity and weariness as they turned back on their chairs and went back to what they were doing.

As he walked in he sort of dragged himself to sit down on a stool next to the bar and put his canteen on the table.

"Got any water or coke?"

Aero watch the fox enter, lucky enough he put his weapon and made it obvious he didn't mean trouble which was good. Aero continued to watch as the fox went to bar and was asking for a drink, so far nothing bad which meant Aero had no need to keep watching. As he got up to leave suddenly there was a commotion outside accompanied by the sound of wasteland vehicles ~Crud, those better not be who i think they are~ Aero jumped up and shot outside, people were running and the sidewalks became barren as several figures on large scrap-bikes drove down the street. "The rapsody Gang" He mutter "Was Really hoping they learned their lesson the last time". The rapsody gang consisted of three members: james rapsody, a red fox that was the leader, carter rapsody, the younger brother. And Samuel jeves, a "buddy" of theirs. The whole group was trouble and didn't have a problem killing anyone or destroying anything they couldn't take. Aero stood in the middle of the road as the group came to a stop just ahead of him. James who was in the lead spoke first "Hey look guys, its that stupid hedgehog that stopped our fun last time we were here" he proceeded to pull out what appeared to be a salvaged blaster as well as the other two "What's say we test our new toys and have a little revenge?" With that gunned their engines and begin to circle Aero, the classic "motorcycle gang" maneuver. Aero pulled out the ring on his back "I didn't have to use this the last you were here, And i don't wanna use it now. leave now because i cannot guarantee y'all will walk away from here with ALL your limbs".

"Idiots." The fox said as he put some caps on the table for the waiter and took out his gun.

"I'm going to dispense some justice, everyone stay inside and away from the windows."


As he said that some of the locals did what he said and got under cover. Others moved for their own guns in case the raiders entered the cantina. Meanwhile, the fox with the gun walked out of the cantina and looked at the bikers. He looked serious and not a hint a fear was in his eyes, more like that of annoyance. He looked dead right at the bikers and held his finger on the trigger.


"Hey you no good bunch of barbaric sons of ******. Leave the good folk at this place alone and go pick on some of those radwasps or the local Reavers down the road!"

Aero readied himself for their attack, just then a new voice chimed in. Aero turned to find the black fox from earlier, he was holding a revolver on the gang and seemed rather ticked. James laughed as he rushed the fox "oh yeah? And who is gonna make us?" As he rushed the black fox the other revved their engines and shot towards Aero. Aero tossed the ring he was holding into the air ~Fwash!~ it suddenly flash bright blue and Aero cought it, it was now a large four point shuriken. Aero dashed forwards and expertly slashed the wheels and weapons on the two attackers, adeptly dodging shots from the two as he did so. As they pulled themselves from the wrecked bikes the younger rapsody brother yell "B-bro! He has one of those pre-event weapons!"

"I ain't got time for your tomfoolery." The fox said as he put out his other hand as he stared at the bike.

Suddenly Jame's bike would do something unexpected, it would turn off as if the ignition was manually switched all of a sudden.In fact it would seem the switch would have been turned moved to the 'off' position somehow.

"Now ya'll listen here, I reckon you want to keep them fancy rides of yours and whatnot so how about you boys clear outta town and leave these good folk alone without a tuzzle?" The fox asked.

At the words of a "pre-war weapon" the fox became intrigued upon introducing himself to Aero, however at the current time that would have to wait until the biker gang was either dealt with or simply cleared out as the fox demanded.

Aero shot forwards and landed a spin-kick that sent both of the riders flying off there bikes, Aero then stood over holding his shuriken above him "Leave if you wanna keep your limbs attached" both the younger bro and their friend, scared as all get outs, scrambled to feet and ran past Aero out of town. With that Aero turned his weapon and hooked it to his back, turning to the last member of the gang. James was furious "You low down stupid..." he jumped off his bike and rushed the fox, weapon firing.

The fox stood there facing attention at James and stared at him as suddenly his pupils widened and he kept his hand up. As James fired his armament it would suddenly be met with a bizarre supernatural occurrence, it appeared that all his shots would bounce off some sort of invisible wall before the fox and James, or perhaps somehow his hand was able to deflect the fire and it impacted something invisible.

"I'm going to give you one last chance." The fox said sternly.

With nothing left but his pride James ran off, not before shout a string of "I'll be back" and you'll regret this!". Eith the danger passed Aero readjusted himself to cover up his robotic body more as his movements from earlier had loosened his cloak and other coverings. Aero then walked back into the bar, noteing some of the looks and wispering from around the room. ~I probably shouldn't have used my Light Shuriken~ Aero thought as he sat down ~I just hpe nobody gets any bright ideas to try and take it or ask questions about it~

"No good raidin bunch of improperly raised hooligans."  The fox said before he put up his gun and walked towards Aero.

"Ya'll alright? That was some scuffle. Those biker boys didn't bust a neuro-processor 'er nothin right?" the fox inquired towards Aero.

Aero stared at the the fox ~Crud, hoping i could keep it secret~ Aero pulled the coverings a bit tighter "No, I'd prefer if you didn't talk about it. Better for people to ask questions than to know" Aero continued to stayed seated "I did a few scans, your not the average person either."

"You could say that, names Jace. Nice to meet ya partner. I reckon you ain't from around these parts?" Jace asks.

Aero kept his face covered "You could say that in a way..." Aero stared out the window "Look, i Don't know who are or what you want. But you obviously aren't gonna leave me alone. Meet at the corner of west side and Rads street, Old brick building, roof." Aero got up and walked out. He didn't want to go into anything out the open with so many eyes on him, not his M.O.

"What a strange robot 'feller that guy is."


Jace went on to finish his business in town and stock up on what he needed as well as see the local doctor to patch himself up. After a small encounter investigating a local church fulled of giant crickets and killing them he eventually bartered at the local shop for supplies that he needed as he began to leave the town of Daresville to venture off, eventually he decided it would be nice to meet the robot again and inquire as to what he was doing in Daresville.

Aero continued his day, the occasional theif or two, some creature problems... nothing else of interest happened at all. At night he waited on the roof and waited for Jace.

The fox walked towards the building as it appeared he had fount a new rifle and some other things from his journey in the wasteland. Did he steal it? Did he take it from the local Reavers? Did he find a traveling merchant? Was it just items he fount by dead bodies laying around? All these could be possible answers but the fox eventually was able to be seen sipping on a cola.

"Howdy." The fox yelled up to Aero.

Aero waited. Eventually Jace arrived with a bit more gear than last time "I see you've been busy. But that doesn't matter right now" Aero stood up and walked to the edge "Alright, what questions do you have? Fair warning, every question you ask i get an answer to mine."

"Shucks, well I reckon that's a fair deal. Alright, so first off you pre-war made or something?" Jace asks.

Aero sigh "In a way... yes" he gripped the excess clothes on him and in one ln smooth motion removed them. Aero's body was more or less the same, a few scuff marks and replaced sections around the arms and legs. He faced Jace "My turn, who are you? Everyone comes from somewhere and its seems like you've seen a fair share of fights "

"Yep, well since ya'll helped me out and such I reckon I can tell you. I'm a Moebian, that means my folks come from that there other world that got nuked too in the big war. However, I was born on this here prime world in a bunker. There are bunkers all over the place just filled with primes and us 'anti' alike, probably still alive and kicking too." Jace responded as he began to fiddle with his gun.
