Another crazy RP idea

So, one idea that came to me last night was a RP in which 2 to 3 people are abducted/taken/kidnapped and put in some sort of testing grounds and relieved of their usual equipment (if there is any).

Of course, the point of it would be to escape or do good enough that whoever owns the facility will let said characters escape.

This sounded like a good idea if it were a survival RP as well, but I don't think killing off characters is a very popular thing that happens on this site. Still, if enough people want it that way, I won't say no.

Well. I'd be all up for this if other people joined. But I'm the kind of a sick bastard who tortures her own characters, as well as other's if given permission. So yeah.

Of course, I can also suggest a slight variation where instead of a testing ground, it's a hunting ground? Your choice, but I'm putting my two cents in

How about a comprimise in which there'll be a room in which the charactees meet, but the item required to proceed is just singular and they'll be encoured to fight for it?

Though unless it'll become a survival kind of thing, the losers would be behind the winner of terms of rooms completed/cleared.

Well if you looking for survival of escaping a facility, Horizon Reach Corporation could of taken hold of these people using them as test subjects in the complex, giving them the ability to escape if they can evade those who they send to hunt them down ?

Haven't really thought about that, though sending someone to hunt them down would undermine the purpose of the test.

Perhaps I worded it wrong, in by means of hunting them down it would be a test, a test to evade and study how these captured beings would react to the ones who are sent in to find them.

On top of trying to escape to the facility, they would also have to evade grunts/agents/specialists send by the Horizon Reach Corporation (RP-ed by you, I reckon?)

Given how the place is a maze of rooms with numbering that makes no sense, though, would it be fair if both them and the abducted were equally lost?

H.R.C would be using there who ever they captured to be testing there Project E.C.H.O on which are Genetically enhanced soldiers of varying degree's as of means to find those who they captured. The Replicant soldiers would also be tested so they would have no knowledge of the facility either, They will be as tested as those who were abducted, and The Replicant forces are varied so the types of them they will encounter will be different.

things like grunts, assassins, heavy units, Infiltrators and so forth.

What if the facility belongs to a competitor and H.R.C. sends its goons there to steal any sensitive research documents & demolish the entire place?

Finding about the test subjects (and doing whatever they want with them) would just be a bonus objective to their mission.

Oh yea that could work H.R.C does have a competitor.

And said competitor being? I looked though the H.R.C's faction thingy and only found some of their projects and the "Dark Ones"

I have not written up about them yet they called Vector engineering. They were rivaling with H.R.C for who would get backing from G.U.N. Often leading to small clashes between the two Corporations.

No offense, but I'd rather go with the competitor being my own creation, as that way I'd have more control when it comes to the facility.

Genii Subsystems, a small company that researched the wrong thing at the right time. Founded by a bunch of sciencist wannabes and dropouts.

Seeing as they're small and vulnerable, H.R.C.could see this as a way to erase them out of the market.

alright I can get behind that H.R.C could be the intervention force to attack the facility.

You mentioned killing off characters in the first post. Was that just a thought, or was it something you actually plan on implementing? If it is something you intend to be a part of the RP, would this be canon or non-canon? I don't really mind too much either way. I'm just trying to figure things out.

My opinion on killing characters? In non-canon I say f- screw it, in canon I say there better be some good stuff and it better have feels my dudes. PTK is a thing in canon.

No character will die unless the owner of said character gives permission via a PM; this will not be a survival RP, though surviving is an underlying theme.

Not sure what you mean by feels, though.
