Development
Hi! So, I've been working on these two characters for a little while now, and I'm still struggling to develop some aspects of them. I would like to have everything sorted out before I post a completed bio, and I thought RPing may help me where I'm struggling.
I just need to decide on some points in the background and personality of the two, so I thought a minor, non-canon RP would help. I feel some interaction would eventually solve these problems as others would get to know them.
I'm not sure of what kind of RP to do, so I'd appreciate any suggestions and help with brainstorming.
Oh, and since I don't have their bios up yet, here's some unfinished images and quick descriptions for you guys:
Again, these images are obviously incomplete, so the designs are susceptible to minor changes, but nothing big.
But, Sea Bunny, you just gave some personality and background to your characters! I thought you said you were struggling with those! Indeed, I did give a bit of those things, but I want to expand upon them, and I need your help.
Thanks you!

Oh, and since I don't have their bios up yet, here's some unfinished images and quick descriptions for you guys:
- Current:
A quiet, shy, and easily annoyed young sea bunny whom, with her adoptive father, is apart of a special task force that keeps the monstrous and dangerous creatures of the sea at bay.
- Comet:
A 23 year old, intelligent, curious, and caring being from the moon whose fascinated by the life and technology on Möbius. He has an extremely short stature and even a short temper when people ignore what he has to say, which often occurs.
Again, these images are obviously incomplete, so the designs are susceptible to minor changes, but nothing big.

Re: Development
To them, a monster could mean anything that is considered a great threat.
They usually fight horrid creatures that roam the seas, and wouldn't normally go after other Möbians; however, I see that those characters you mentioned possess the ability to grow largely in size, and if combined with some ill intent, this would be more than enough for them to take immediate action.

Re: Development
Fighting monsters under water, that is something new and awesome, something Shrike would do. Interesting idea. I would say perhaps the creatures pick up in activity or they some what start to evolve or adapt to over come those who fight them off. Shrike would be on her side against them as he has faced off against others creatures of another origin called Dark ones horrific beings from an alternate reality.

Re: Development
Oh, wow, I really like the idea of them evolving and adapting to better fend off attackers. This will make things much more difficult for the task force, and may even require them to develop new tactics and weapons in order to take down these creatures.

Re: Development
I just had a few questions that would probably go into more detail about the character since it seems like an interesting concept and there were some things to think about:
1. The Task Force - I was really curious about when they were established, or how. Also, how long has your character been a member, and how does she feel about it? Does she feel bitter about being apart of the task force and was roped into it, or perhaps she is honor bound and remains a part of the task force but never questioned her own feelings about it?
This could be beneficial, because the RP could probably have her make a turning point where she tries to question or come to terms with her profession in some way or another.
2. Along with the first question, I am more curious about the "monsters" and their nature. Mostly, where do they come from and why do they usually attack from subterranean areas? Plus, I do like where Shrike is going with this since it would give Hikari the opportunity to participate (probably mistaking the underwater creatures as creatures that escaped from the Cage).
Largely, this can also go deeper into current character's personality as it would explore how does she feel about fighting the monsters. Does she do it in a relentless and thoughtless manner, or does she weigh a lot on what she is doing and curious about why?
3. Comet's background intrigues me since it brings one thing in question: Is there a moon colony by chance and how advanced is their technology?

Re: Development
Oh, wow, I wasn't expecting to see this thread be brought back to life. I was sure it had died and fallen into the abyss. It's nice seeing people take interest in it again. I could still use some help.
1a. The task force was strung together a mere few years ago.
1b. As to how it was established, an old, navy war dog was one of the first to catch sight of these new creatures while on a routine scouting mission. The monster rose from the waters, and destroyed the naval vessel, crushing it to pieces, and killing the vast majority that were on the ship during the time. Those who remained after the ship's destruction were eventually killed and eaten. The old dog managed to keep himself alive long enough to be rescued by helicopter. It was no easy task.
After the dangerous and hasty rescue, he approached his higher-ups about the situation and about how this monster should be dealt with since it is an obvious threat, and could potentially kill thousands. After hours of planning and conversing on the matter, it was eventually decided that he would temporarily lead a group to deal with this creature under aid of the military until the monster was defeated. Alas, not many were willing to join up in this new group. Many argued that they didn't sign up for, or weren't trained to fight horrid monsters in the sea. Many were fearful and unwilling, but not everyone was.
He was able to bring together a group large enough to take down this monster, and they did; however, they soon came to realize that this was not the only creature of its kind, terrorizing the seas.
He realized he would need a much larger group, an army of his own. With the necessary permission he was able to set out flyers and other forms of advertisement in order to reach out to the many others that were not currently participating in the military. He needed to find those who were brave enough to take on such a beast with the risk of losing their life.
1c. At this time, Current was doing no more than working with her father out at sea, catching fish and transporting cargo. She didn't mind the job too much, but she felt a lack of excitement and purpose. They were lucky enough to not have encountered any of the creatures, but during one trip, after they made it back to land, they were unable to head back out to sea because of the dangers.
Current picked up information on the situation as to why that was, and received a flyer to join the task force. The idea sparked her interest. Her adoptive father was against the idea, but he had seen a spark in her eyes that he had never seen before, and was eventually inspired by his daughter to take part as well. At least, that was half of his reasoning. The other part was to jump along with her was to keep an eye on her and help keep her safe.
She doesn't express it, but she actually enjoys the danger and excitement that takes place in this task force. While her father is a bit uneasy, and just wants to stay alive and keep her safe.
2a. I have yet to figure out where they came from, myself, but I am thinking somewhere along the lines of some sort of science experiment that got out of hand, but please, if you have a more creative idea, do let me know. I'm not really sure if I want to stick with that one. What I do know is that these creatures are able to reproduce asexually, and evolve at a rapid pace, which led to their multiplication and monstrous appearance and strength. When I say that they evolve at a rapid pace, I don't mean over days or weeks, but rather they went from a relatively small and ferocious creature, like a piranha, to where they are now in about a decade's worth of time. It is unknown as to how they have gone through life without being noticed, but this is where they ended up now.
2b. They attack in these subterranean areas, because they are only able to breathe in water. They have yet to evolve enough to the point of developing lungs for inhaling air.
3. Are you asking if there is a mobian moon colony, or a colony of Comet's species?
