Dance with the Devil

"I want the normal one that is in between. " Lillith looked like she was in pain now. 'hes lying!!!! Kill!!!!' 'WE must take control!!!!' 'no please....I promise Azzar shall not hurt us....' 'KILLL KILLLLL'

Legion chose Sentinel, the closest of the warrior subclasses that was a Jack-Of-All-Stats. Now, she had to choose a name and an allignment.

"Now it wants you to give him or her a name and give her an allignment. Basically, whether he or she is evil, good, neither..."

'I'll leave you alone, not use any telepathy; that a fair deal?'

"I want to call the warrior Stanley!" The voices didn't stop. She was getting g overwhelmed. Willow couldn't stop them and they all made Lillith faint.

"That's a nice name," Legion said with a smile. "What do you want him to be? A good person, a bad person..."

The Watcher was patiently waiting outside their room and surprised Ris in a not-quite-nice way. "W-were you spying on us?" She shouted. "This whole time?!"

Azzar caught Lillith in his tentacles before she could fall to the ground. He glared at the Devil. "You did this; she was fine last time I saw her. You did this!"

"Do you get. Benefits for joining a side? Which one is cool?" "Why are you looking at me like that watcher?" Lillith remained unconscious and yet the voices continued panicking. Only willow was trying to calm them all. 'please wake her back up. I don't want the devil and Azzar fighting. That will only make Lillith more sad.'

"There's just an illusion of choice; choose good and you'll be hunted by the bad and vice versa," he told her. "Choose neither and each side will keep telling you to choose a side. Weapons given out by evil factions look cooler, though."

"I am sorry, but it would appear my latter coallegues' attitude may have have rubbed off on me," The Watcher explained himself. "I was simply worried something I know might get harmed by someone I don't know, though her being a demon played an insignificant part of the worry."

Azzar carefully put Lillith down on the ground and turned his tentacles into combat tentacles. "You'll pay for what you did to her."

The Devil sidestepped, also saying a bit of his own. "The collar was broken; all I did was fix it. Had I known what would happen, I would have never-"

Azzar cut him off by attacking, cutting the Devil on the chest, making the Devil flinch and use his arms to shield the wounds.

He underestimated Azzar; he cut pretty deep.

"Then evil it is!" "Don't worry about it. Ris is a close person to me" willow decided to take control of the body. Lillith woke up but it wasn't really Lillith. Lillith quickly got in between them again. "THAT'S ENOUGH!!" She stomped the ground and the whole area turned into a peaceful meadow of flowers. It was a very good illusion. Everything looked real. "I refuse to let you two fight over something like this!!" Willow said in Lillith's voice.

Legion read out the introduction text.

"Welcome to the kingdom of Aiur, traveller!
You are Stanley, a chaotic evil sentinel.

To your left is a meadow, to your right a forest, behind you is the wall of a mountain, in front of you a city.

Choose wisely."

The watcher nodded. "Do you wish to return to Lillith or Wendigo?"

The wounded Devil smiled through the pain. "Last mistake you'll ever make, freak!" He conjured up blood-coloured fireballs, which were even stronger than regular ones.

Azzar also ignored the illusion and Lillith's plea. "Demons, archdemons; you've hurt someone close to me," he said as more combat tentacles emerged from his robes. "For that alone, you deserve a slow and painful death!"

"I want to go to the forest please." "To Lillith. Well find our way back here tomorrow. I'm sure you can talk care of Wendigo." Willow looked real mad. "HOW DARE!!!!" She summoned tons of water and threw them at the devil. Looked like a tsunami. She turned the other way and summoned much fire!

"A beautiful nymph is sitting on a rock; she asks for your name. What do?"

The devil, unable to swim and sharing his hatred of water with cats, was immediately knocked out.

Azzar, on the other hand, was set ablaze and his tentacles were unable to put the fire out. He screamed as he burnt, Lillith/Willow exploiting his only weakness.

Then Ris, Recin and the Watcher teleported in.

Yep, this will be awkward to explain,

"I'll say my name. There's no harm in saying it" Willow used the remaining water and slammed it in top of Azzar to put out the fire and hurt him. "NOW YOU SHALL STOP THIS FIGHT OR I'LL WILL BOTH OF YOU!!!!!!"

"The nymph smiles. 'What's someone with such a nice name doing all alone in a forest? Don't you know there are monsters lurking about?'"

Azzar fainted; several of his tentacles were burnt to a crisp and the shock that came from the water was just the last straw. 

The Devil, on the other hand, was laying on his stomach and bleeding out from the wounds Azzar caused him.

The Watcher's response was quick; he grabbed her with his telekinesis and kept her a few feet above the ground. "A demon went rogue; how nice."

Ris shook her head and looked at Recin, "She wasn't this crazy last time we met."

"I didn't know there were monsters lurking but...I'm a monster too so it doesn't really matter.." Lillith struggled. "LET ME GOO!! I HAD TO DO THIS TO THEM TO AVOID THEM FROM KILLINF EACHOTHER!! NOW HEAL THEM NOW!!!!" Recin went closer. "Whoa Lillith are you ok?"

"You are?" Legion asked. "You don't look like one."

"Violence only breeds more violence; you did nothing to stop their dispute and only made each of them resent you. And you're supposed to be the wise kitsune of legend? Where's your reason and patience?"

"Oh well...I've done things...but don't worry I won't hurt you"

"It ran out of that when I peacefully asked for them to stop and they did not stop. How did you know I was the kitsune?"

"That's a comforting thought," Legion replied. "No one would ever believe that I got killed by someone with fluffy ears."

The Watcher let go of her and healed the two idiots up. "I've studied and mastered pretty much all the magic there is. Telepathy is just one of many," he told her. "Your masterful use of water magic was what gave you away, Willow. I'm sorry the initial distrust; I'm glad you intervened."

"You underestimate me..." "Well I am glad you understand now..." Recin looked confused. "Wait Lillith isn't talking right now? "

"I didn't mean it like that. I don't underestimate you, it's just-"

"Lillith's collar contains a couple of souls that keep her alive," The Watcher explained. "So no, this isn't Lillith that's speaking."

"It's just what?! You don't think I can take things down?!" Recin walked closer to Lillith. "So...whayvdo we do with them?"

"No, you just look so... innocent," Legion muttered. "I'm sorry if I angered or offended you."

"We ask the good one the keep the evil ones in check," the Watcher said. "Other than that, there's nothing else we can do."

"I look innocent? Recin sighed. "What do we do with the devil and ...the tentacle Monster?"

"y-yes." Legion meant it seriously. "In a good way."

"Wait 'till the first wakes up, then serve the second as cooked squid." The second thing was a joke, but he wanted to know how many of them would get it.

"thanks" Wendigo smiled. Willow didn't take the joke nicely. "No."

"You really remind me of my younger sister."

The Watcher sighed. "It was a joke."

"oh? How so? Do o look like her?" Willow smiled a little. "I know...but this is Lillith's love we are talking about..."
