Tying up loose ends.

A calm full moon lit landscape covered the lands on which a long figure wandered, the temperature as pretty low, shown by the visible breath of the lone figure , that was figure had been none other then Shrike his appearance had changed quiet a bit since the last time any one who spotted him, no more did he have his HAVEC suit, but a return to the older uniform he once wore during his time with G.U.N modified to his own needs and of course painted in his favorite colors, the reason for this switch?

A few weeks ago Shrike took the chance to finally end it all, thanks to his energy beacon he was able to track down the gate way known as " Arkgate" with one last final push and attack against the horrific creatures called the Dark ones he was able to destroy the gate way, finally sealing the gate way and rift between Mobius and Dark Terra, unfortunately he didn't come out unscathed, Shrike had suffered a incredible amount of damage, whether by the durability of the HAVEC suit, the suit had sustained so much damage it was all but useless to him, having no choice but to abandon the suit Shrike did so, with some strong ties and trust to the suit it was hard to see it go, it was there with him every step of the way, re fitting his older gear gave Shrike a sense of a new beginning, the war was over, the nightmare of them lifted, yet still he felt alone.

Of course he had not forgotten about the H.R.C yet nor G.U.N, he knew they were still issues, he ha watched H.R.C first hand of its abduction of innocents for their dark and under the cover research, so he was going to need to find a way to strike back to save any one he could, but as the same time keep his distance from G.U.N they still had a label on his head for his capture. 
He was sitting on a type of grassland Savannah type landscape, he had found himself a small cliff face upon which he sat, in the far distance the famously known Angel island hovering above its water mass, there he sat, he had only moments later wrapped up a small group of Dark ones, pockets of these creatures still remained on the surface but only a handful were remaining, 

There alone, he took some time to reflect on every thing that had gone down over those years, even prior to the event, he couldn't help feel bad, despite all his efforts to fix issues, he still felt like he was a bad soul, he felt he had lost to much of his sanity, he felt he was to aggressive and violent, he wanted to change but didn't know how, or if he would have that luxury, sitting calmly enjoying the night sky, he felt a sense of loneliness sweep over him, I guess you could say the battles kept that at bay , but since it ended, he felt he ran out of a purpose or a need any more, a soldier with out a cause. Cause he was no soldier any more, he was by all means a Renegade to the world mentally he has still in a bad way, but now that it finally came to a end, perhaps now the recovery process can begin

" Well Shrike, I bet you didn't believe you would see the end of this, but here you are now its up  to you to  figure something out on your own, the world will never know of what you did and may still be after you...but at least they will not have to worry about them any more....yet nothing has changed for me...I still feel just as lost, alone and..and aggressive as I did..maybe the damage was done already and only now I am starting to see its true side, perhaps a normal life that will always be something out of my grasp, and H.R.C are still out there...Its worth a shot to rescue some of those innocents, can't fight the Replicant but I can free them from the various bounty hunters and mercenaries....how strange things work out, you always want to be the hero, but at the end of it all...you are still the rouge... I really need to stop talking to myself...then others will believe I have lost it all. People will ask me...why did I fight..why did I not run away...it was simple...In an insane world...it was the sanest choice...I got a lot of things to finish up with...good by to the old and the start of a new...tying up the loose ends."

Darkness...
That was all she could see. It was like her eyes were refusing to open and let her finally see the world outside the confines of the small lab she had basically lived in since as far back as she could remember.

For what reason she was in a laboratory escaped her, but whenever it came to her thoughts, her head began to pulse in pain. As a matter of fact, anything she tried to think of resulted in a severe migraine that resulted in her putting off the attempt to open her eyes again. The light probably wouldn't help matters either.

To say she felt like she had been hit by a truck would be a massive understatement.

Laying face down on the ground for a few more minutes, she finally pulled her body off of the ground, ignoring the screams of protest her body gave her in the process. Her blue eyes opened slowly, out of focus, but the second they were in the open air she sighed quietly in relief that it was night. 

She gazed up at the sky to thank the moon in the sky, and was awestruck by its beauty. She had never actually been outside unless she was being transferred to another facility, but she was always blindfolded and held in restraints to prevent her escape. Not that she would have been able to for they hardly fed her. It was all to keep her strength down so she had minimum resistance. 

'Freak!'
'Monster...'
'You're an abomination to your own kind.'

The voices and more revolved in her head constantly, the words embedding in her very soul. She grabbed her black horns curling around her red ears and threw her head back with a loud scream of anguish.

-It would not be long till what ever peace and quiet he found would be shattered, the sounds of screaming and struggle emerging from the landscape, getting onto his feet, Shrike checked the surrounding area, using the binocs he carried to zoom in on what seemed to be 3 cloaked personal..these personal were armed, not extremely but enough to keep those who they were escorting in line.-

Shrike knew right away they were "hired guns" H.R.C some times employed bounty hunters to carry on assigned tasks of capturing and extracting said civilians, returning them to bases upon which they would be tested to see if they were worthy enough to be turned into some kind of experiment. 

Shrike only being one man couldn't hope to take on H.R.C full front..but he could use shadowy tactics to strike small pockets, he decides to follow this bounty hunter team, upon getting closer it seemed they had captured a total of 8 mobians and were escorting them..no doubt heading for the nearest facility to off load them, collecting a hefty pay check for doing so.

Perhaps if the outpost was small enough he could clear it out, possibly save a good few of them in the process, but he had to be careful if they could whiff of his plan..H.R.C would be on him in a matter of minutes.

And thus the heavily armed and armored figure moves through the night, sticking behind the bounty hunting squad, he knew all to well of the fate of those who were captured..either experimentation...or death.-

" Alright...let's see where you guys are off to...then when you assholes least expect you...I'm gonna put you down...revenge to those who's life you took away...what goes around...comes around." 

A shadowy aura had surrounded her upon her pained scream. It frightened her.

Never in her life had she felt so much power, but there was just too much. Her head began pulsing dangerously, making her vision slowly begin to grey out at the edges, further speeding up her heart rate.

'What is going on with me?' She thought in a blind panic. Her breaths were shallow and hurried. So much was confusing and - for some reason- angering her. 

She sensed presences nearby. That was normal though. There was always someone watching. She knew by now it was another trap. Another false promise of her being able to escape and be free at long last from all the pain and torture.

But she wanted it too much. She could smell the freedom all around her and it drove her wild with want. She needed this.

So she ran.

To say where, she had no idea, but she figured that if she at least tried then she could say to herself that the attempt was worth the fresh air hitting her face and the soft blades of grass tickling the underside of her feet for the first time. 

This was what the world offered her if she got out. This was what everyone else was experiencing every single day, taking it all for granted without a second thought.

A sad smile spread on her face as she knew it would be short lived. She heard the movements of them after all. She wouldn't ever be fast enough to escape. It was all a sick and twisted game to see how far she would go to be free. Then they would take her back with the others and continue with the pain.
She knew there were others in the same situation. She never saw them, but she heard them. The screams and crying at night proved she wasn't the only one suffering at that hands of these creatures. They may be doing some dark and twisted things to make the Mobians into freaks of nature, but its the humans who are the true monsters in the world.

Surely someone knew of what was going on? What of the so-called 'heroes of Mobius' who were always there to save the day? Did they even know what was going on here? Did anyone for that matter?

All of these thoughts circled the females head, taunting her and mocking her. She would be alone forever in this hell. Nobody was coming.

The bullets rang through the air behind her like a trail of metal. Her eyes sparkled brilliantly illuminated by the glowing orb in the sky.

'Give me this, at least for only a minute. That's all I ask for.'

-Upon entering closer into the area, the distinct of crack gunshots came to him as a familiar sound, where their were gun shots there was trouble, He had to make a tough choice this point..break his cover and attempted to rescue the personal who were being taken to what seemed a small base or head towards the gunshots, which were in very close proximity to his current location.

He chose to change his position instead towards the location of the gunshots, the young soldier quickly checks his weapons, this was no doubt going to turn into a fight, but it was not like he never had been in one before, he takes off running, bringing down his infrared goggles to turn the once dark landscape in a clear view area, he could move with utmost ease now, moving along the shadows. 

For all means, he was no Hero like the rest of the so called Mobians were, he was in all sense trying to do the right thing, whether that made him one was non of his concern, all he wanted to do was save others from the tyranny of the Corporation the same force that had single handed reduced his life to a life of a Renegade, he didn't want any one else to suffer a fate like this.

hugging the tree line, he makes visual contact with what seemed to be a red Mobian wolf, in some distance behind her, the infamous black and red uniforms of the corporation he had a burning hatred towards, this finally confirmed his ideas..this well hidden and isolated facility belonged to them.

They were firing live rounds at the Mobian, treating her like if she was target practice for fun, the renegade takes aim at one of the personal, waiting a few moments before pulling the trigger, a single round is fired from his weapon, it zips past her striking one of the personal in the leg.

Finally emerging from the tree line stood a well armed, armored figure dressed in various shades of green, a light brown helmet covering his face, He looked like a G.U.N soldier but his colors were different from the typical navy blue...of course no telling if he was friend or foe, before any questions could be ask he starts to shoot back at them, with in full force, bullet cases ejecting out the side of his weapon as he returns shots back at them, was he here to help or was he here for something else.-

The echoes of bullets rang through her head. They hurt her ears, making them fall flat against her head. 

It was almost like she was dancing to avoid the onslaught of metal directed at her. She bent and jumped when she felt one come too close to contacting her. There was the only thing good that came from this whole situation; she was pretty nimble and flexible. She knew they were out to hurt her, their sick minds were all too easy to read. They wanted to hurt her for their own satisfaction. They thought they owned her.

Nobody owed her. She may have been here as long as she could remember but there was no way someone was claiming her like some sort of pet. She would make sure they were all sorely disappointed when she came out of the barrage unscathed.

A different energy came from nearby. This one was not anything like the others who were scattered around the vicinity. She grew curios and wanted to know who it was. They didn't have the intent to hurt her like everyone else.

Pain rippled through her. The energy had distracted her from her task and now she had a bullet stuck in her shoulder blade. She bit her bottom lip with a loud cry, drawing blood as she felt the foreign object enter her body with such force.

'I've failed...'


She fell to the ground on her knees as she held the wound with shaking hands. shifting her hand to look at the blood now seeping from her steadily, she closed her eyes as a single tear escaped her now dull eyes.

A few minutes passed with her just sitting there staring at her blood soaked hand. All the while her anger was growing. She felt something inside her begin to draw some sort of darkness to her. She didn't like it but it felt good to feel some form of power at this point. She growled loudly as she stood back on her feet albeit shakily. 

Turning around, she met the eyes of one of them. She grinned darkly and vanished into what could only be described as a shadow before instantly appearing in front of the one in her sights. 

Before she could comprehend what she was doing, her hands had grabbed his head and twisted sharply to the right.

A sickening crack echoed all around.

-Bursting out from cover the soldier sprang, unloading weapon fire at them, he was gunning to kill, nothing else would do for them but a straight up death, blazing away he moves into the open, the moon light, capturing his very essence as the cladded figure blasted away with intense barrages of gun fire at the H.R.C personal, of course he was not the only one taking them out, he could a close visual sighting of what seemed to the Mobian striking back, maybe he had given her the fighting each to final return the favor.

Moving into the open became dangerous, the armored figure found himself having to resort to some type of cover now and then, he was no invincible by any means, he had already taken two direct bullet hits, thankfully his armor manage to stop the rounds as the grazed off him, showing the night with sparks as the rounds bounced off.

Arching himself over the large stone like feature he lays down fire, he had killed about 3 so far, wounding one of them. He was just about to take a shot at one of them when suddenly he saw the Red Mobian appear from what seemed out of no where, gripped his neck and broke it with utmost easy.

He paused a few moments upon seeing it, he didn't care how they died they deserved to..talking and reasoning were a thing of the passed when it came to H.R.C. Shrike moved towards a trio of private H.R.C soldiers, he hit the ground quickly tossing a grenade from the palm of his hand, the sphere like weapon dropped and landed by their feet detonating, consuming them in a wave of lead.

Shrike was just about to take another shot when something large struck the rock he was behind, the explosion hurled him back, lifting his head and climbing back to his feet, he shrugged off any pain from it and kept with his relentless attack, but it seemed he was getting help from the Red Mobian, which was indeed helping.-

With her vision graying out, Tala felt her inner animal instincts slowly begin to take her over. Looking down, her hands began to change right before her eyes. It hurt like hell but she couldn't tear her gaze away from the claws that were now ripping through her skin and fur. Her head began to hurt even more, and upon touching the horns she hated so much, she felt them growing longer. Slick with her own blood it dripped down onto the ground below, staining the grass a deep reddish brown.

The energy was the only thing powering her now. The deep recesses of her mind contained the logical part of her that screamed at her to stop. She was becoming something unknown to the rest of the world and she couldn't stop it. 

'Is this what these humans have done to me?' She thought with a strangely calm voice in her head.

The other energy was still nearby, and from the smell it was giving off, she knew it was another human. But they were... killing their own kind? It seemed unusual to her, but then again she hadn't been subjected to the every day life of the world.
She smelled blood everywhere, whether it be from bullets or physical hands on damage. 

It drove something inside her crazy. 

She wanted to keep on killing. She needed to have more blood on her, even if it meant she had to remove everyone in the area. Her thoughts started to become irrational and she knew it, but couldn't stop her actions. Something else was in control now and the only thing she could do was watch as she tore into more uniformed human soldiers, each death more gruesome than the next.

Throwing aside the remains of someone once living, she licked her fingers clean of blood, inwardly wincing at the horrible act she wasn't able to stop. She wanted to stop, but there was no way this new thing would let her regain control now. Finding nothing else to do other than talk, she yelled out, her voice starting to distort into an angry growl before her mind became a vast blackness, no longer having any part of the horrors placed in front of her.

"What the hell have you done to me!!"

Meanwhile, a certain red hedgehog was walking through the slightly yellowed grass, kicking up clouds of dust as he walked. In his hand was some form of device with a touchscreen, and he was occasionally looking down at it, tapping the screen with his finger. Each and every time he did so, he shook his head "not a single signal. What the hell happened? Did he...?" Caen waved his hand, letting out a 'pssh' noise from his lips "nah, he can't have popped his clogs just yet."

Caen stopped and looked up at the darkened sky, tracing lines from one star to the next. "Still, I wonder what's happened. If every single one of 'em is now untrackable, that'll prove difficult." He muttered, before chuckling "I need to stop talking to myself. Bet it looks pretty weir-"
Caen stopped when his train of thought came to a screeching halt, as gunshots were heard nearby. The noises were roughly in the direction of a forest. He shook his head "forests seem to have a lot of trouble these days.." He said, before taking off in that direction, the clouds of dust beginning to grow bigger.

-With the final and sudden death of the last person, the chaos stopped, what started so quickly also ended the same way, peering over the rock upon which he was behind, The armored figure scanned the horizon, bringing down his infrared goggles, he detected no visual heat sources, he came to a conclusion the Red Mobian must of escaped into the world, of course that was his goal..to stop them from trying to harm her.

Getting up from his location, he moves to inspect the dead personal, checking their bodies and taking what ever supplies he saw fit, ammo, kits, medical items, every thing was for him and he had no problem taking it. Every now and then the armored figure looked over his shoulder, using flash lights and infrared to see if any one or thing was near by.

" Well...who ever that was...seems like she got away...I don't see her body any where....one more free soul...but so many more ahead....this is what you get H.R.C...this is also personal...you took every thing from me...now I will take it from you....no chance of breaching that facility...the base will be on full alert.....I should take what I found and be gone before....She comes back...if she killed them that easily...chances are she will think I was one of them and do the same..."

-Moving from body to body he gathered the said items, but it was really quiet..and for one the quiet was something he didn't like.-

Emerging from a dark area she had managed to fall back to in order to attempt to regain her senses,  Tala stepped back into the moons calming glow.  Looking around,  she no longer felt the energies that we're taking her over and as a result she began to feel a little more herself.  Looking down to her hands,  she watched those bloodsoaked claws retreat back down to normal.  Her headache was subsiding quickly,  and her vision was back in her control. 

Stepping around the bodies of the fallen human,,  she sniffed the air to see if there we're any others left. She sensed the other energy from that distraction before not too far from where she was, but it was retreating from her location. There was another more familiar smell; one that was Mobian. It was in the same general direction so she thought of killing two birds with one stone and made her way towards them,  also looking for somewhere that she could get cleaned up as well.

Caen slowed to a walk as soon as he heard everything go virtually silent, the quiet sending a chill down his spine. As he walked past each tree, he brushed aside the odd protruding branch. A quiet rustling sound broke the silence every time he did so, and each one seemed to echo through the forest.

Soon, the red hedgehog came across several corpses, each one wearing the same uniform. They all had some form of wound, that leaked blood onto the grass, staining it a dark red. He crouched down beside one, lifting up his arm and laying his fingers on his wrist. After a few seconds, Caen muttered "no pulse. Who could've killed all these people?"

He looked around, seeing a trail of red leading elsewhere, and shook his head "I can't stay out of trouble, can I?" He said, however, as he began to get up, he noticed a logo emblazoned on the shoulder of one the corpse's uniform. It was a similar logo to that of a group that had kidnapped and killed many before, within Caen's very eyesight- the H.R.C. He looked over the body once more "guess they got what was coming to them."

Caen began to follow the trail of blood, bending down slightly to make as little noise as possible.

-In the field collecting items from the fallen personal was a figure possibly Caen could recognize, his uniform was different, still a distinct green tho, Shrike..it was him, I guess at first glance you could say perhaps it was him that gunned down every one here, truth be told, he was only responsible for half the kills, the difference was pretty staggering, those he killed had gun shots, those killed by the red Mobian had been torn to shreds.

Shrike could see a shadowy figure out line not to far from him, not a H.R.C but his first gut feeling was, who killed them was back..all he could see was a heat source outline of a mobian, he raises his large weapon and takes aim.-

" YOU THERE!...yes you Mobian...I suggest you leave this area immediately....this place is dangerous..I highly doubt you would want to stick around...now leave the area at once."

-The voice would of been familiar the same muffled radio tone like always, kind hard not to tell it was him, Shrike was still very wary of what was going on around him, a sudden wrong move would set him off, he had just saved or he believed he saved a a Mobian from the clutches of the H.R.C but he couldn't be sure..with no trace of the Red mobian, it started to seem like perhaps he was just seeing things, maybe he was loosing it and now just thinking he was being a hero and doing the right thing...However it would not be long till he began to grow a deep cold feeling that something , or some one else was close by and it was not the being who he was aiming at.-

The smell of blood was horrible. It was all over her and she so desperately wanted to find the nearest body of water or shower and clean herself off, but she had other, more important matters to attend to.

Tala had been following the other two beings, not quite sure on how to approach them. The Mobian she was fine with, but the human was the problem. All she knew from them was torture and hate, but this one, this strange acting human was confusing her. 
She knew he was male from the stances he took when he wasn't scoping the place out.

Looking a little further afield to the east side of the the human, she spotted a flash of red quills belonging to a red hedgehog under the moonlight. They were barely even registered as they had only just moved out of the light and back into the safety of the night. She grew curious; the other Mobian didn't look like a captor like her and the others; he was dressed like an outsider, so why was he here?

Her ears perked at the sudden voice that sounded. She realised too late that she had let her guard down due to her curiosity and had wandered into the sights of the human she had been following originally. 

He hadn't spotted her thankfully, she noticed that he was actually aiming his weapon at the red hedgehog. She crept up closer to the human as quietly as she could. She didn't know why, but he wasn't giving her the same horrible vibes she always got from humans. It was almost like he was a... kindred spirit perhaps? She couldn't tell, but it piqued her curious nature nonetheless.

Caen continued to cautiously walk through the forest, waving the same handheld device around, as though searching for something. What that something was, was unclear. Suddenly, in the darkness, Caen heard a weapon being lifted, and a man's voice called out to him, telling him that it was dangerous. It was a familiar voice, indeed. The green marine himself. Caen lit a flame in his hand so he could see better "I think you and I both know that a little danger won't scare me off." He said, smiling. "so, I'm guessing you're searching for dark ones? I was doing the same, but-"
Caen stopped, and suddenly turned away, looking into the trees "someone else is here. I can feel it..." He muttered, before shouting "whoever's out there, show yourself!"

Inwardly growling at the hedgehog for sensing her,  she stepped from the tree she was hiding behind with her hands raised to show she meant no harm. 

Looking Caen right in the eye, Tala immediately recognised him. "Caen...?" She called out nervously at the familiar Mobian. 

She sniffed the air and nodded in affirmation. This was definitely the hedgehog she knew. Keeping one eye on the human,  she walked into the opening in between the two and looked at Shrike with her hands still in the air. 

"Go on then. Do what your peers couldn't. I'm too tired to keep going , so this is your chance." Tala lowered her ears slightly at the sight of the dangerous weapon that was now a lot closer to her than she was sure it was a few seconds ago. She pulled her tail around to her front and played around with it as she plopped down on the ground,  waiting on her fate being decided by the armoured human.

-Shrike was going to respond to Caen, but that was all shattered at the sudden appearance of Mobian who he had just recently cut free from the grasp of the H.R.C personal, he still had no idea what he was dealing with here, she could be any thing at this point, While not aiming his impressive looking firearm he did have it firmly in his hand, he had been fooled to many times in the past and this was not going to be to another if that was the case.

Thankfully with the arrival of Caen, perhaps his words could atleast calm the situation down, as he very well knew shrike + words usually turned out to be a rather disaster..however the closer she got the more she could see, his uniform tho similar in construction to that of a G.U.N personal had been altered a bit, instead of the common navy blue, he had green.

Her words of him gunning her down where she stood stunned him a bit, but he refused to shoot her, after all he was the one who decided to set her free, and rather killed his own kind for that price. Shrike nudged his head in her direction, a signal for Caen to take over of the situation and speak to her, Shrike stepped back allowing him to get closer.

He was just being careful right now, knowing how twitching he can get on a moments notice, the last thing he wanted was to kill a innocent, Shrike turns his back, using his binoc's to sweep the field for any more potential threats, leaving Caen to do the talking.-

Tala felt no immediate ill will directed at her, it became apparent that she didn't look over the human properly as he was not actually aiming his weapon, rather he was just holding it in case something did happen. She began to rub her shoulder due to feeling awkward, but hissed loudly in pain when she went over the deep bullet wound in her body.

She forgot that she had been hit, and when she pulled her hand back in recoil from the sudden pain, she realised just how bad it was. Blood was seeping out from the gaping hole freely like a small stream.

'How the hell did something like this happen?' She thought to herself. Her adrenaline must have numbed the pain until now, but she didn't remember actually getting hit in the first place. Did she black out like before?
Looking over the red hedgehog who had been strangely quiet and not moving, Tala looked over the human again to notice his armour was distinctly different to the ones she was used to. She deduced the reason for her being so suspicious was because of the badge. It was the same, but she should have known better when she saw the blue in contrast to the green everywhere else. 

He wasn't with them. Not the ones who hurt her and the others anyway. That didn't completely erase the niggling of paranoia in the back of her mind regardless. She tried to make herself look more intimidating, completely forgetting the fact she was half the size of the human before her and tried to lower her voice to show dominance. She felt ridiculous, but her animalistic instincts were coming into play as they felt she was being threatened.

"You! Human! What is the purpose of you aiding me? I have no need for help from the likes of you."

She spat the last word out as her ears lowered dangerously. She wanted to believe he was one of the good ones, but his actions in this place were questionable to her. Nobody else turned their back on the H.R.C. They were too corrupt to get out without something being taken away from them. Awaiting his response, she lowered herself slightly to prepare for any sudden movements.

Tala was clearly not happy with Shrike, most likely due to him being a human, and his dress was pretty similar to that of the corpses that littered the ground. "Tala! It's been a while. Look, you've no need for alarm, here-"

Caen was cut off by Tala hissing in pain, before lowering her voice, and speaking in a manner where she seemed to try to threaten Shrike, however, it came off as pretty fearful, almost... Pathetic, in a way. She mentioned that she didn't need any help from the likes of Shrike, which made Caen raise his hands up "woah, woah, woah. Haven't we been over this, before? Not all humans are total bastards. Look, Shrike here is with me, he's a... He's a good man. Brave. Strong. And, look, we can all so that you've been hit. So, like it or not, both me and him are helping." Caen reached out, lightly touching Tala's hand "c'mon, lemme see the damage," he said in a reassuring tone.

-Shrike had his back to them, knowing Caen could handle this this well, Shrike was more concerned about finding trouble before it found them, saving beings was one thing, but taking on more then he bargain for was something all together, both himself and Caen knew of the so called "run in" with Captain renar and the black ops units they had to deal with while at the Ark facility some time back, a lot had happened between that interval and now. 

Yes he listen to her words, Her attempts to strike fear in him or intimidate him, but non of them seem to phase this..armored silent being, who had more questions then answers, even those who he knew still never knew who he was, never seen is face or other dark secrets locked way, yet he seemed to be at odds with the corporation, but he couldn't hold it in any more, she wanted answers and he would have to speak sooner or later. His voice would come out as a distorted like voice as it traversed through the helmet.-

" No need for the help?.....huh...funny...because if I had not intervened...you would of either gone back to your life as a experiment....or used as time wasting activity of who can shoot you first, I stepped in to cut that leash that held you to them..... to put it in a nut shell....I killed them to set you free...as all those who have been captured by them...deserve....and they....deserve to get justice....in the form of a bullet....to the head.


If I wanted to kill you...you would be dead already...but I am not one of them....who I use to be ?..that is probably not important...but you have you'er freedom now...nor will it be the last one I set free.


Caen...a lot has happened since we last met.....I....took care of the dark ones....Arkgate...is gone...but those nightmares have not....do what you can to patch her up...I suggest we relocate to the woodland section..the concentration of foliage will hide us against any potential kill teams they may send out." 

-Shrike always emitted a strange energy of himself, mysterious, unknown never really knowing what he was doing or what his motives were, but so far his motives seemed to be helping rather then destroying.-

Tala blinked stupidly at the words she would never imagine coming from a human. Or the mouthpiece he was using that made his voice come out as fuzzy and slightly muffled. There was no way he was lieing, his energy negativity hadn't increased from what she had sensed. 

He was speaking only the truth.

She looked to Caen's hand that touched hers gently, startling her slightly at the sudden contact. She was starting to believe the red hedgehog. This particular human held no reason to be here still, yet he took time out of his life to free her from the chains of torture inside the facility she oh so hated.

She raised her gaze to look at the turned back of the human she had acted so ridiculously towards before and suddenly felt really stupid. She folded her ears back and took on a sheepish glance and lowered her head submissively.

"I...I apologise for my rude behaviour. All I have known are the wrong humans, and now I am seeing with my own eyes that Caen is right. Not all humans are bend on destruction and pain."

The smallest of smiles found its way on to her features as she remembered Caens words of them helping. She knew she wouldn't be able to get the bullet wedged inside her shoulder out by herself.

"I appreciate the offer of help. I cannot reach where I am wounded after all. Thank you both."
