Appearance:

Horns protrude and curl out from the long dark puffs of this sheep’s mane. However, horns are incongruous to females of her breed. Her body is fluffy in more ways than one. A muffin top hangs over the edges of her finely polished armor. When not wearing armor she can be found in frumpy sweaters or even vests if she’s feeling abnormally confident.

Racial traits

Sheep have wide irises which lead to improved night vision and wider field of vision as compared to humans. Though this also leads to less effective depth perception and vertical field of vision. Sheep can happily subsist on grass, clover, and forb. Kamille is no different. She tends lean towards higher calorie grain which leads to her weight issues.

New Knights of Spagonia History

The Knights of Spagonia was an order of combat clerics who worshiped Light Gaia at the Gaia Temple of Spagonia. Their primary duty was to protect the temple and partake in Chaos Emerald related rituals. As chaos rose in Spagonia the order opened recruitment and split into sets that based their magic on sunlight or moonlight. Those that serve the Sun bear the Sun Medals and call themselves Solstice Templar. They punished the wicked and defended just causes. Those who bear Moon Medals called themselves Cavaliere Notte. These healers eased suffering of the sick, cured madness, and routinely performed exorcisms.

Some of the order believed there was a singular cause to this upheaval. The Knights allied themselves with the Spagi King and launched a crusade to find the source. It is unknown what power they came against. When they returned the Spagi king held them as traitors to the nation's true religion. Gaia worship was banned, and many Templar and Cavalier lost their lives to the executioner's axe.

The Gaia temple lay silent for centuries, until a world shattering event led one Sonic the Hedgehog to unlock the abandoned temple. After the temple seemingly disappeared into the arctic mantle archaeologists quickly uncovered a sealed Solstice Templar library and armory. The equipment and books were taken to Spagonia University where they would be restored and translated. The equipment was kept in surprisingly good, all most wearable, shape.

Several students and guests of the college found themselves acting oddly around the suits or armor and weapons. Some became entranced by the equipment, stole suits, and found that it fit their bodies perfectly. The school was then approached by Baldo Palladine, an executive investor obsessed with secret societies, to purchase the restored equipment en mass.

Mr. Palladine headed RingEx, a currency exchange company that traded international currencies based off the value of Rings. He offered those who bonded with the armor a chance to become modern Crusaders. They would fight against evil and gain knowledge on the ancient Gaia religion. In exchange for training and a small expense stipend, The New Knights of Spagonia would be deployed on research missions and to collect artifacts for Mr. Palladine.

Spells and Combat

In the texts of the Templar Library that had been translated, several Divine Spells were prepared. The Templar’s enchanted weapons and armor help channel the spell. Without either, casting spells is much more difficult. This power is believed to be a direct gift from Light Gaia himself. Daily meditation allows one to communicate with Light Gaia and prepare these spells. The meditation often ends with the practitioner feeling hungry for chocolate chip ice cream sundaes.

Sunfire Bane:

This spell applies a burning effect to the weapon wielded by the Templar. This is not natural fire but supernatural Phoenix Fire that only affects evil creatures, creatures suffering the effect of Lycanthropy, and evil spirits. This bane does not deal extra damage to creatures who are incapable of understanding morality.

Glowing Inspiration:

This spell allows the user to detect hostile attacks and predict the best way to do defend oneself from them. The spell last as long as the user is defending him/herself and not attempting lethal attacks against the target. This spell does not allow one to cheat in friendly competition as it only applies to incoming attacks that are intended to wound or kill. Since the spell is based off reading emotions, a creature who can suppress it’s emotions can weaken the spell's power. Creatures with no emotions (i.e. non-magical constructs) are completely immune.
