☢ Ascension Reboot ☢

So, this topic was pretty popular at the time I made it. Ascension...

Basically, to narrow it down...

100 arenas. Filled with enemies that get stronger and stronger the further you progress. A huge endurance test, and after all that's done, you fight eachother. At the end, a massive cash prize is given to the victor. Loads of cash, (or something else depending on what a character desires, I mean, I can change this easily (or add to it) if it'd mean people would join!) and their name would be up in lights basically around the city it's set in.

Now, the one thing that was daunting about it was the number. 100. Uh... this time around I'll make it 50. Because 100 rooms filled with robots that get stronger and stronger? Yeah that's pretty nuts. It started off too slow last time and didn't get enough momentum in my eyes. This time, I'm hoping to make it bigger. To make it better.

Things will start off relatively... slowly. But still tense. And only get more crazy. At some point it'd become a desperate struggle for survival up until the very end. And then it would become a free for all with whoever's still standing.

Your character can go out at any time. If your character is unable to continue in the arena, a warp will be triggered that will bring them to safety and put them into medical care. Y'know, just... to make it so people are confident to throw their characters in. I don't wanna kill anyone. XD

Either way, maybe people will be happy to see this coming back! Anyone want to jump onboard the ascension train?

Guidelines/Info:
1. Try to get a post in daily. If you're unable to, it's fine, but a post a day would be fantastic to keep a flow going!
2. Warn us of inactivity. If we're waiting for a response from you for more than 3 days and you haven't alerted me through Private Messaging, your character will immediately be assumed as eliminated from the tournament. This may or may not be open to discussion depending on circumstances of not being able to get in contact.
3. Follow the basic character rules, and try to make the fights interesting for EVERYONE. Remember, at some point it's going to get intense, and I don't think having someone just dodging everything is a good thing.
4. Don't expect to win the whole thing. Only one of ALL of the characters can actually win the grand prize. So please, please, don't try to be a glory hog, because in the end it'll just frustrate people.
5. Your character's status will be monitored constantly at the end of all of my posts at the bottom/top, listing the names and progress, as well as their status.
6. I have the final say on if your character is in or out of the arena. Of course, I want to make this fun for everyone, so for the most part it's up to you when you want to ideally have your character go down, but if I really deep down think your character should be out, that will be the case.
7. If you have any complaints, questions, anything, please contact me! I'm not a dictator and I can definitely change up the rules and guidelines of the topic if you desire.

Juuust gotta be weary. Those who are joining, please don't use your most OP character. That won't be fun for anyone. It's not my RP of course, so I have no say in the matter, but using someone who's absolutely amazing at combat and is unstoppable and amazing wiiiill be a bit of a downer to deal with << >>

Half tempted to make a character bio requirement to be filled in before entry is fully given.

But hopefully I can trust people to not be ridiculous. Limit yourself and your character of choice! I'm going to just say an app is unnecessary, mainly because finding out about characters and their abilities/names is hella a lot more fun IC than reading a measely bio. Just, y'know, common sense guys. It's a virtue.

Keeping the join stage open for another day or so at the max, but then we're getting started right away. Looking for hopefully ONE MORE PERSON to join. Three more would be fantastic, but one would do absolutely fine.

I'd be totally down to join this if that's cool!

Aaaand that's the minimum requirements! I can start the roleplay as soon as I get ahold of a PC.

Though I would suggest a very small sign-up bio thing at least? Just so we know WHAT characters are being used, with the basic of details, so we know what we're all working with and we can identify who's who.
