I'd really appreciate if you guys could give feedback on this one. It seems like this song is a giant step for me.

So this time, I made a more fight-themed song, because I felt like it. I kinda notice that my production value is dropping, but there's really nothing I can do about it. I'm busy with other stuff. Anyway ENJOY.

Oh wow, I have not commented in here in a while - still really like this piece! Particularly fond of the low organ - though would perhaps have gone for a different instrument for the higher notes? Like, I love the sound of an organ, but felt like it might've sounded nice with something sharper over the top as a contrast.

This is just really nice! I have soundcloud too but my songs just don't sound so good compared to yours.  But i still have to agree with Dregan, maybe you needed to make it with a different instrument for the higher notes? It just sounds like... the organ melted with the instrument.

I personally say it is great music, it reminds me of Final Fantasy 1 Dawn of Souls, for the gameboy adv, and the NES. But I do have to say these criticisms have their own views and I respect that and agree to a degree (he he not intended)

I'm stuck in the 'boss theme' mood, so here's another one!


Also thank you guys for the advice! However I did not really bump into this problem myself, so it will be probably hard for me to conciously change that in other songs of mine. Hopefully I did it with this song? I'm not really sure. Still, I hope you enjoy it!

Okay, so like, I wasn't so sure on this track at first. Like the opening was... pleasant enough. But didn't really hit me, y'know?
Theeen we struck around 0:21, and from that point I was really into it. Especially a fan of the segment of 0:32 to 0:42. Think overall this is one of my fave pieces you've done.

Finally back with Bou's theme! Sorry for making it take a while, but I've had lots of stuff to do lately xD
Anyway my whole main RP cast now have their own theme song! With Bou I tried to create optimism with a piano, however still not make it sound too happy-go-lucky. Hope you like it!

So yesterday I made two new songs that were on my mind a long time ago. Should go back to making music. I can hear that the quality isn't as good as the last few pieces that I've made before these. School still has priority though. Have a listen!

I have to say, I like Training Strictly a lot, though I do feel it ends... almost a little early. It feels like the song is about to lead into a sorta bridge of sorts, or a slightly higher segment, but then it just... ends. It's really good, but just feels it could do with a little extra.

As for Gaining Experience, I more imagine it sorta... RPGs - especially big world-based RPGs - tend to let you go through a lot of drama and action and similar such, before getting to a point mid-game where they give you a small sorta... friendly village. It's usually a small place of contrast where it gives the characters time to rest and recuperate, and have small pieces of postivie character interaction/development, before setting back out on their dire quest.
Gaining Experience sounds like that village for me. That pleasant little 'Still good places in the world' village.

Dregan, you're completely right. I had the same feeling, so I've edited it to be a bit longer. At that time I really just wanted to finish the song seeing as it was already in the making for 3 months, but yeah, enjoy the way better version!

I finally got the hang of drums in my opinion. That's because today with my church choir performance (I play piano for a female church choir with peeps of around 40-50 years old, while being an atheist. That's how kickass my skills are yo B) ) There was a kid who played drums. And I listened to it. And now I get it. Drums have always been my weakspot in music. Also apparently this song is suuuuper long compared to my others. I know it's being somewhat slower than other songs, but that's not the only thing. When I made it the sheet was pretty big as well.

Anyway as always I hope you enjoy!

Actual work that needs to be done is a real motivator to work on your hobbies! Like this new piece of music!



Now this song consists out of 3 parts that came to me on 3 different days. Normally I just create a small melody and build onto it, but this time I had a lot more from the start, which really helped me get this song out quickly. (Only took me a week to get enough motivation for it plus two days to actually make the song.)

The feeling for this song: You're never alone. When times are tough, there's always someone that wants to help you out and fight with you.
