Her ears pressed onto her head, anticipating the loud 'BANG' that would come from the rifle. But it never came. Instead, she watched how it was incinerated in mid-air, hearing it crumble to dust. She looked back to Imotekh, surprised at his offer. However, she scrunched up her nose at the sight of the rifle, though it did not show well from behind her scarf. Amber was not quite fond of rifles, so she waved him off. Instead, she shot three more pigeons in the sky and held her hand up palm out. She focused, gathering heat at the center of her palm and squeezing it into a ball, before firing them as bullets towards the pigeons, hitting each one.

"Hmm, nice aim," he says, looking at the smoke trail. "I'm in need of talented people like you for my team. Care to join?"

She looked at him and raised an eyebrow. However, she remained in silence. Amber had always worked for herself. Ocasionallu for G.U.N. But other than that, she was a lone wolf. 'Why?' She signed using sign language.

*sign language back* "Well, I think I know someone who can help you hone your pyromancy." He turns and mutters to himself about someone named Eros.

"I'm not deaf you know." She signed, eyebrow raised, ears pressed against her head. Her irritation caused the temperature to drop ten degrees. "And I'm not a pyrokinetic."

"Sorry if I offended you. I'm just trying to ask around if anyone has skills they want to hone." The environmental control system in his suit automatically kicks in.

Her ears perk up at the subtle, almost non-existant whirr of the mechanicals in Imotekh's suit, and she stared at it intently. Eventually her eyes drifted back to her wrist, observing the watch-like thermometer on her wrist. The temperature was dropping back down. "What is your suit doing?" She signed.

"Releasing stored up body heat," he said. Whenever it's too hot, it absorbs excess body heat to cool me down while being too cold (or having a sudden temperature drop) releases the heat." He presses a button or two on his wrist and the armor compresses into a cube the size of half a tissue box. "It does other things too," he says.

She scrunched up her nose, eyebrow raised. "Why would you need that?" But then Amber paused. Not everyone had defective skin like her's. They still feel hot, cold, and pain. She turned away and signed. "Never mind."

"Oh well. Nice meeting yo-" He trails off, and is staring at something behind Amber. He whips out his binary rifle and shoots at something behind Amber, and she hears crackling noises behind her and a robotic voice trailing off, "Error. Target-" while it disintegrates. "Oh no, they're here!" He activates his power sword in his other hand. "Come on, we gotta go!"

Her ears once again press down against her head, displeased on the sudden shot to an object behind them. Of course, she heard them marching near for a few minutes now, but they arrived earlier than she anticipated. Turning around casually, Amber tilted her head to the side. She wasn't too worried, but she certainly did not want to be careless. So the wolf turned back to Imotekh, and cocked her head in a gesture for him to follow. She took off to the city.

He jetboosts over to her location, and looks behind them and sees a squad of swatbots. It flashes an orange field that disintegrates three of them, giving them time to escape.

Amber let out a discrete sigh. Was this guy an inventor of some sort? How many weapons was he carrying in that armor? How much did it weigh? Well, she didn't suppose it mattered since he had jetboosts to help him get around. Amber ducked in an alley, and agily began scaling stairs and pipes to get to the roof.

He seems to pause for a second, then strikes a medidtation-like pose and a blob of metal appears from the metallic sources around him. It forms into a metal skeleton warrior, carrying a green weapon. He instructs the skeleton warrior to go eliminate the swatbots. "Now we can work together." He ducks around a corner and fires a shot, disintegrating the two bots in front of the rifle's scope.

Amber watched from the safety of the roof. She would rather not be involved, seeing Eggman was one of her clients, though she never met him directly. Better stay on good terms with the doc. This wasn't her problem anyway.

As he finishes decapitating the last bot, he analyzes it's memory and wonders why Amber is not on the target list. "Why aren't you on the target list in its databanks?" He makes a compression motion at the bots, whose metal parts melt down in thin air.

The wolf gave a roll of her shoulders, a shrug. She sat idly on the roof's ledge and elegantly crossed her legs. Amber peered down at him with her autumn colored eyes. "Maybe because I don't go around crushing his robots." She signed casually.

He says, "Oh well. I gotta get back to base. Nice meeting you. Whaddaya say we go grab a bite to eat on the way out?"

She shrugged nonchalantly and leaned herself off the ledge, free-falling, before flipping and landing soundlessly on her feet. Stuffing her hands in her pockets, she waited for his lead.

He pauses, arms out at 90 degrees and palms out. Most of the metal in the surrounding area detaches and gathers in front of him, forming a hover car. He opens the passenger door and invites Amber in.

It was very shifty for a stranger to suddenly invite you somewhere. And she's sure mothers tell their children not to take rides from strangers. Especially if the ride had just been constructed before your very eyes not several seconds ago. So of course she is hesitant. "Maybe we should just walk."

"Ok." He kicks the car, which falls to pieces. He points to a pizza parlor across the street and says, "Looks like a nice place, what do you say we go there?"

'You're buying.' She signed simply and started walking there. It wasn't very often that she encountered another wolf. So she was less interested in ditching him. But she was quite a solo alpha herself, and granted her poor social skills, thus she would come off as rude even without meaning to.

He presses his Bluetooth and tells it to call the pizza place. He orders a pizza and a couple of drinks, and when they get there the pizza is nice and warm. He gets it, pays, and goes to sit down to eat. "So, how's it going?"
