Fae Tales: Online - Races
Fae Tales: Online. A Fantasy styled MMORPG that has one the largest game worlds known to the gaming industry. In this game you carry out several quests for NPC's and gain rewards, you can enter dungeons and fight the various bosses that the game holds, choose your Race and scavenge for materials and cash to create the best of weapons, learn the best spells for offence or to support your comrades, or hunt for the Legendary Weapons of the Fae Tales world! The world is your oyster in this epic, lore filled world.
In this world, their are a variety of Races to choose from -However your Avatar will still appear Mobian, just, colours your character will be clad in and what they specialise in will be different dependant on their 'race'- : (Any weapons and equipment suggestions are welcome, please contact through PM)
Italics= Exclusive to Race
IMPS
Masters of the night, those of this race have an additional skill being night vision. Typically this race is fast with high attack stats, with impressive speed stats. Magic is of a usable level but nothing impressive, and are great at sneaking. However, defenses are the lowest of any race, they are quite frail. Imps though, have the best eyesight of all Races.
Wpns & Equip. : Lightweight Swords, Daggers or Bows, Throwing Knives and Tainted Needles (Have a 10% Chance to poison the target)
Strongest Magic: Dark
Colours: Dark shades of blue or purple to blend in with the shades of night. Sometimes are clad in all black. Armour and Equipment is typically lightweight, not improving defense by much.
SPRITES
Sprites are the pinnacle of magic usage, yet are unfortunately at the bottom when it comes to using actual weapons. In battle they use Wands and Staffs to increase the power and their own Magic Points. All stats are even and usable, with the exception of Attack (Hitting, Weapons, Attacking). Also known to use musical instruments as forms of casting spells and enchantments. They also specialise in Potion making.
Wpns & Equip. : Wands, Staffs, Small Blades, Potion Cases, Magick-Pipes or Harps and Scrolls of Healing/Elements/Summoning
Strongest Magic: Light, Water, Fire, Nature, Earth, Lightning, Wind and Dark
Colours: White and Black. Armour and equipment are mostly robes that boost magic potential, blessed from the above.
UNDINE
A race centred around Water Magic. Water is the most dominant of Magic, being able to deal damage to majority of Races and Monsters no problem. They are a Race with high Attack and Magic stats, with moderate defenses. However, they are rather slow.
Wpns & Equip. : Wands, Lightweight Swords, Daggers, Wands, Small Blades, Scrolls of Summoning and Potion Cases.
Strongest Magic: Water
Colours: Whites and Blues, in some cases Celadon and other 'Sea-Green' colours. Armour is typically ranged dependent on the Undine player and they way they play, sometimes mixes between robes and armour.
SPRIGGAN
A race blessed with high potency in Dark Magic and the ability use shape shifting spells that can be used to fool opponents, particularly newer players. These guys are super strong almost all around, however lack greatly in their defense. Their speed isnt bad but at the same time, isn't near the fastest. Another perk, they have a wide range of weapons and equipment. Known also for using a lot of Status ailing attacks and equipment (Poisoning etc.)
Wpns & Equip. : Wands, Heavy Weight Swords, Light Weight Swords, Scrolls of Summoning, Scrolls of Transformation, Daggers, Throwing Knives, Plain Needles (Can be altered to Paralyze, Poison or put the target to sleep) and Bows.
Strongest Magic: Dark and Transformation
Colours: Black, Greys and Deep Purples. Armour is normally dependant to suit the weapons being used.
IGNIS
Inhabitants of desert areas, often dubbed "Will-O's". This race is the pinnacle of attack power and is popular amongst new players. These guys are masters of Fire and Earth magic and have a unique weapon type in the form of Hammers.
Wpns & Epuip. : Wands, Heavy Weight Swords, Hammers, Scrolls of Elements, Scrolls of Summoning, Light Weight Swords.
Strongest Magic: Fire and Earth
Colours: Reds, yellows, earthy colours.
SYLPH
The Race that can become almost any type of player, being able to use almost all weapons and having the highest speed stat with of average remaining stats that can be levelled up to suit the player. Fast with a lot of potential, however the Sylph is limited only to using Wind magic.
Wpns & Equip. : Lightweight Swords, Heavy Weight Swords, Scrolls of Elements/Summoning/, Daggers, Small Blades, Potion Cases, Throwing Knives, Plain Needles, Wands, Staffs, Bows.
Strongest Magic: Wind
Colours: Any Colours.
