The Ace bandit, the man who holds the cards

Reports are coming in that a mysterious bandit has been stealing rare works and artifacts from homes in casinopolis, the thief in question leaves no artifact behind and in their place leave an ace of diamonds. Many have tried to catch him but none have prevailed. However he seems to announce each heist to the news before he does it. No one knows why he does it or who he really is all everyone knows is that he holds a black ace of diamonds.

A pair of shady characters glanced up at the t.v. within a pub. One, who wore a heavy cloak that hid her features, and the other, a gecko looking hybrid with spikes in his tail, had nothing more then a pair of ragged pants and a stedson.

"What do you think of this Thief of Diamonds?" said the cloaked figure.

"He's looking for a score some fame." snorted the hybrid, "Do you think he's got a big bounty on his head?"

"Who knows." said the cloaked woman, "But he would be an interesting fellow to meet."

"Like he'd come to an invite." snorted the hybrid.

"Oh come now, Malahat." said the cloaked woman, "Anyone who's wanted shows up here from time to time."

"Yeah, but." sneered Malahat, "Everyone here gets nervous when you show up, Hënë. So what is it you need to talk about? That's what your here for."

Not one for major gambling, he came to the city hearing about this mysterious bandit and just that. The bright lights hurt his eyes, but he didn't care. Even with closed eyes, he could easily rely on heat sense and his ears to get around. This city's main source of money? A poor sap's wallet. Almost no work besides those who work at the many casinos and buffets. Sad but true, this here jackal named Aidan "Pyro" Winchester simply did not like this place.
He was mainly here to see if this guy was some kind of monster. He'd probably try and help, even if the guy wasn't a monster, but if he was, he expected some form of payment. If not, he'd probably just raid one of the machines at the Casino. That'll probably put someone into poverty, but it's their fault for basing this city's economy off of their Casinos.

The tv blared loud in the pub as the owner, a bright young feline turned it up. "This just in the casino on the east side of town was robbed by the ace bandit, just like he had told the station just days ago.." The feline smiled as he polished glasses and steins. "Welp there goes another artifact." He said in front of the two figures. "The ace bandit always goes after them. And they appear in museums the next day." He looked to them. "What will you two have tonight?

"A bottle of Scotch Whisky with two glass." said Hënë.

Hënë leaned towards Malahat and whispered "I plan on catching the ace bandit."

Malahat backed his head away snorting "What?!"

Hënë grabbed Malahat by the neck and pulled him towards her. "I plan to nab the guy." she hissed into his ear, "But I need a few bodies to give me a hand!"

"I'm not into murder!" snapped Malahat pushing Hënë's hand away.

"I'm not talking about that!" snarled Hënë, "I need back up to pull this off!"

"Oh!" said Malahat, as he started to relax, "I get it. How many do you need for this plan of yours?"

Agreeing with the people he did not know, the people at the bar, he believed that at some point certain criminals come to the bar. However, there was no point for him to be there. Not only was he too young to drink, but he didn't think that a monster would be there. He is making the assumption that this criminal is a monster of some kind, and that going in the bar wouldn't help.
Continuing on his way, past the bar, he hears something... people are apparently thinking of getting the guy before him. He was not too happy about it, but he walked on.

"Lady your gonna need a small army. Many have tried themselves but no one has been able to catch him." The feline said pouring their drinks. "I've been tracking him for years. And I never caught him but I know his tricks. If you want info just let me know"

"Do you mind!" snapped Hënë, shoeing the feline away, "This is a private matter! Just leave the bottle!"

"Wait a sec?!" snorted Malahat, "What do you mean, Tracking him?! You workin' for G.U.N. or somethin'?"

Hënë glared at the feline she nearly pushed aside and waited for her answer, making note of a jackal passing by in the reflection of the mirror behind the bar.

Feeling that someone was watching him for a few seconds, the jackal finally turns, looking around the area for a bit. "Hm...nothing. Expected as much, I guess," Pyro sighed, walking forward and toward the bar doors, "guess it's best to check. Someone in there was looking at me."

The barkeep grinned. "If I was would I be running this place?" He said with a snort. "No he stole an ancient family heirloom that predates to the first time the god of destruction came forth from the emeralds. I need to get it back." He said. "So what do you two wanna know?"

"I am just curious at how he tells the world what's he's planing to steal something and still manages taking it?" said Hënë with a snort.

"How does the guy get passed the security?" added Malahat.

"He likes to show off his skill. He's a magician of sorts. He can appear in a puff of smoke. Then disappear without a trace. He takes a different approach to each heist. As to not be tracked.. Some of his heist happen early in the day or on the darkest of nights. The security can do nothing to stop him. He holds a deck of cards he can use in more ways than dealing a game. I don't know all this's tricks but I know he has an accomplice  who knows the ins and outs of who he really is. His name is snipps a rat in the alley  next to  a club called the lions maw. It's hidden on the south side.  Knock at the end of the alley, the password is "king of beast" the owner should know where to find snipps"

"Cards you say." smiled Malahat, "If I ever meet him, I'll challenge him to deal me a hand."

"The lion's Maw?" muttered Hënë in a low voice. before noticing the jackal near the door.

Hënë turned and said to the jackal "Well now. Who might you be?"

The feline looked. "Probably another nobody looking for a drink" he said. "But anyway. Ask for the owner Leo, he should know where snips is this time of day."
