Lets Be Friends

"One...'' The Pink hedgehog counted, ''Two... Three!" She finished, Buttoning the last button on her green polo and flitting the wrinkles in her clothing once more taking in the view of her outfit precisely she had styled with what she called perfection. Purple High tops, an Orange tutu, A green Button Down, and red floor snapped to the side of her quilts that flipped up and almost over her head. She nodded her appearance in approval, all ready for her first day of 3rd grade.

With a small twirl out of the room, she grabbed her back red back pack filled with her favorite smelly pencils, and Notebooks; Running down stairs to meet her friends for breakfast at the large dinning room. This morning it seemed extremely more noisy than usual, and to her surprise the room was a mess with paper spilled milk and burning breakfast on the stove. Children were running around the place like a free for all and it irked her to a point of wanting to hit them on the head.

She made her way down the rest of the flight of the stairs and huddled into the corner looking for Tails, or Someone with sense. Where was vector anyway, wasn't he supposed to be taking care of them? Probably fell asleep again on the couch, to her thoughts he wasn't a very good care taker, when Vanilla was resting.

A young fox kit sat at one end of the breakfast table, as far from the chaos as he could.  Even though he was only four and a half, big, bright, intelligent blue eyes watched the ruckus then quickly went back to his cereal.  He ate more quietly, but the main reason he kept glancing up was to look at a blue hedgehog right in the middle of the rampant mess.

Said hedgehog apparently had a lot to do with causing the noisiness that morning, when he was also supposed to start third grade.  But he could run so fast that he figured she'd have time to grab his stuff - maybe he was right, and maybe he wasn't.  Still, it was breakfast time, and Sonic had as much fun as anyone else in making the noise and causing the spills and other messes.

Tails sighed from his end-seat, which was next to a bag almost his size containing school supplies.  After a lot of talking and some help from the adults, it had been decided that he would be going into third grade too since he was pretty far ahead for his age.  That meant he would be spending more time with Sonic, who he admired, and with the hedgehog's friends.  With what the cobalt speedhog was doing this morning, though, it was a little bit hard to idolize him right now, so the kit just went back to eating breakfast, trying to finish before the mess got all the way down to him.  He did notice a pink hedgehog, though, and waved cheerfully to her with both of his namesake tails.

The little pink hedgehog bounced on her toes with a wide smile and waved to her young two tailed fox friend, beyond the children throwing papers and books around to their amusement. She suddenly made a face at the red little echidna below her who was pushing at her feet on the floor glaring down at the wood below her. "What are you doing?!" She asked quiet harshly curling her fist and putting them at her hips.

 The red echidna didn't pay attention to her he kept pushing at her feet skidding her across the wood, with determination. She wouldn't move, not for an instance, not for a second until that dumb kid talked. He growled at her finally sitting up off the floor gritting his teeth. "Get out of my way!"

The pink hedgehog found herself giggling at his expression. "No.'' She simply replide. He gave her a surprised look before it turned deadly, enough to make her squeak. "Why Not?!" He growled lowly at her.

"Because you didn't say please!!'' She stated defiantly poking at his forhead that only made him angrier. "Please Then!" He stated. "Please what?'' She asked quiet innocently. "Please Get out of my way!" He growled again almost to the point of screaming at her. "Oh well sense you asked so nicely. " She giggled, a small smile forming her lips as she skipped away over to the kitchen leaving an annoyed and stunned hot headed boy. He shook his head no longer caring of her or her annoying adittued. He had to find the Gem.

The small hedgehog snaked her way around the messy Room to the two tailed kit who was eating his cereal and watching the mess take place. She watched him eat then the mess, then him again, then the mess. "So, have you Seen Mr.Vector?''  She asked peering out into space. "He's going to get into trouble.''

Meanwhile, the blue hedgehog bobbed up and down, side to side, weaving through the clusters of mess-makers.  Unseen to most of them (as they weren't wholly focused on him), he did return the bowls to the table and clean up, just a little.  Although he helped some, mostly to undo his own part of the mess, he spent most of his time now running around the room, stopping once to ruffle the hair of his favorite gold-orange fox kit.


Said vulpine blinked at the blue hedgehog, smiling very slightly, before looking back to the pink hedgehog who now sat at his side while Sonic sped off.  Again, he smiled very softly, though he was still busy eating.  "Hiya, Amy..."  Smiling at her, he glanced back to the mess and the smile faded.  In answer to her question, he pointed over in the direction of the big playroom, where earlier he'd seen the crocodile sprawled on a sofa, snoring.

While all the mess was taking place at the orphanage, a young black-furred hedgehog frowned up at the sign for the school.  Sure, he was really early, but one look at his cool, blood-red eyes would show anyone that he didn't care that no one else was there yet.  In fact, by his relaxed stance against an outer wall, one might even say he was enjoying the solitude, reveling in his aloneness.

Amy Nodded, Smiling at him she hopped out of the chair and held up two fingers to her friend, "Dont worry, Ill wake that Lazy Crocidile!" She winked at him  before skipping into the play room.

A loud Noise could be heard from across the rokom of books being knocked over and shoes hitting the old molded ceiling. Knuckles kept trying to hit a crazy white bat with his shoe while she was giggling and smiling and waiving the green Emerald into the air. "Ehehe I got it first." She smirked looking down at him, and shaking her hips slighty. Knuckles was furious ready to throw his shoe again, "Give it beack its mine! Stop stealing my things you theif!!" He called to her.

"How else is a girl supposed to live." She smiled kissing the emerald in her hand then looking back at him, seeing his whole face dark red with anger. "Rouge! Give. Me. My. Emerald. Now!!" He said again only the reciee another refusal in reply, He was not happy by her laughter, nore was he ammused by her additude towards him. Nor was he liking the fact that his precious Gem was being kissed like that! He growled, his violet eyes looking around the room for something else to throw whn he sporrted it just to the side of him, and a quick grn flashed across his face.

Her lauging ceased with a squeel as a turqious Green, vase slammed against the ceiling just behind her. causing her to drop the gem placing her hands on her head in fear. Knuckles smiled in triumph and grabbed the Emerald and threw his fist in the air with victory. "Yes!" He shouted. The white Bat looked down at him withe tears in her eyes and angeir surrounding her features and looked down at him with the glare of death. He immediatly caught it, and his eyes shrunk in terror. "Uh...oh..." He muttered backing away. "Knuckles IM GONNA KILL YOU!!!" Rouge shouted darting towards her prey, who ran flingiing his arms in the air, with regret, and screaming, "Somic Sonic help me Shes gone Bat Crazy!!"

Meanwhile, a snaeky pink hedgehog quietly snuck into the playroom with a large hammer behind her back and an evil grin. She steped over to the grin crocidile who was hugging a pillow and sucking his thumb like a baby, and sleepinf peicefully. Amy covered her mouth holding in her giggles and once she was calm, she quietly whispered to three. "One....."She aimed her hammer, "Two....." Lifted it above her head, "Three!!!" With a heavy grunt she slammed it down in top if the green crocidlies head waking him from his sleepy dreams, and ran away quickly squeeling with laughter.

Sonic tilted his head and stopped for just a sonic second when Knuckles started yelling for help.  Shrugging, he went after the echidna, leaving a blue trail from his speed and taking Knucklehead along as he ran around the building.  Eventually, he stopped in the very same room that Amy had entered moments before, the playroom.  He took a few steps back when she raised her hammer and hid outside the doorway with Knuckles.

Tails, after finishing his breakfast, carefully took his dishes over to the window to the kitchen, reaching up and pushing them over the high countertop so they landed with a clatter on the opposite side.  Then, carefully tracing his way through the room, he detoured around the messes and headed upstairs.  In his bedroom space, the bunk above Sonic's, he picked up his notepad of sketches of things he wanted to build, put his backpack on his back, and soon left again, ready for the fast-approaching moment when they'd go to school.

The crocodile wasn't Mad however he was Mentally confused. Amy hid under the Table with a Smirk looking through the veiled Table cloth at the Vector. He was astounded by the mess that as created, and Now you could see the disappointment and Anger in his Eyes.

"QUIET!" He yelled aloud, Grabbing all of the Children's Attention who froze right in there place Awaiting for him to speak.  Vectors eyes travels across the room before with a Heavy sigh he pointed to the Door, "Get Out and Got to School!" He ordered

The children Immediately started gathering there things with no questions asked and left. Amy snickered to her self crawling out from under neath the table and hurried out the door along with her Friends.
