Halloween Roleplay~!

It's that time of year, everyone. And I have the perfect plot, which comes from an old forum I used to roleplay on!


It's the night of Hallow's Eve, and every kid is scattered about the city in search of candy at every door step. This is Station Square's first real Halloween since the rebuilding began. Because it is the first, the town has declared that Halloween will last all the way until midnight. Teens and college students are throwing Halloween parties. In fact, there's a huge local party in the meeting hall this year! Attendees are expected to dress up in some sort of costume to celebrate. There are even some people on the streets, scaring the life out of passerby's. 

Everything sounds absolutely wonderful, right? That is, until midnight hits. At midnight, a bell will chime from an unknown source above and suddenly everyone who is dressed up will become their costume! Vampires, werewolves, witches, and more will terrorize the streets until midnight strikes again! Will your character change form?

A Halloween RP? Excellent. Such a holiday marks the birthday and creation anniversary of my character, Twilight. Mind if I join with him?

I suppose that I'll take part as well.  Though as I tend to be excessively meticulous, don't expect to see one of my full-blown character sheets for Umbra prior to the RP.

I honestly didn't expect this many people! How exciting.

Oh me me me me. I just gotta find a good costume.

Alright, everyone. Today and tomorrow will be your last chance to join this special event roleplay. All it takes is a post. After that I will establish an order and the roleplay will begin!

Alright! Now, the order is going to be a bit different than what most people are used to. 

After I post, you are free to post at any time. It does not have to remain in the same order as the previous cycle. However, after you post once, you will have to wait until I post again. 

This will ensure that if someone is taking too long to post, I can always allow the roleplay to progress without them. I would appreciate it if you would inform me if you would like to be skipped ahead of time.

"Ladies and Gentleman, boys and girls! Halloween begins in five minutes!" The intercom buzzed at several spots around the city. The sun had just set and the horizon was still a lighter shade of blue. People were already filling the streets in their costumes. 

Among these people a red-furred cat was skipping along. She appeared to be in a red and black, lacy dress, like something from the Victorian age. In her mouth were a pair of plastic, glow in the dark teeth with fangs that protruded out. Her eyes were smothered in black eyeliner and even ran down her cheek for effect. On her head was a black and red bonnet to top it all off. She was following a black and white dragon, who didn't appear to be dressed up at all. 

"Drake, why aren't you in a costume?" she nagged, frowning. When he didn't answer her, she poked his arm several times as she repeated his name over and over. "Drake. Drake. Drake. Drake! Draaake!" 

He pushed her hand away irritably. "I don't have money for a costume, okay?? Besides, dressing up is for kids. It's lame."

"But... You're seventeen. So technically, you aren't an adult yet," she replied, tilting her head, "So... that makes you a kid!"

Drake shook his head. "No, Hyro. Why don't you go find some candy or something?"

Lena came dressed in a cat costume. Hmm...I wonder what mysteries this Halloween party holds? she thought, walking inside.

Alice walked  the sidewalks as a blind ninja. "I hope I find someone soon. I can't really go alone"

As the many costumed individuals frolicked about, a sky blue wolfbat remained in his residence. He was leaned out his window slightly as ultraviolet light shined on him, the same light that allowed him to remain his normal self. Today was Twilight the Lycalo's birthday and while he was ecstatic about such a day, all of this had changed exactly 3 years ago. This was the day everything changed, the day the darkness consumed him and made his life a living hell for half a year. With a somber sigh, the hybrid made his way over to a cushioned chair and took a seat. This night always seemed to go on for an eternity and the hybrid's inability made things even more cumbersome.

A few feet away from hyro was a Scarecrow it was 7 feet tall and seemed to be a mannequin for decoration during halloween. Its mask was slightly ripped in many different places and its deep black eyes glared into the soul of whoever looked into them. 

At its feet was a bowl of candy with a "Pick One." Sign beside it. The scarecrow waited, its malicious grin laced together.
