A Forum Newspaper?

Greetings to the readers.

I offer my suggestion of a forum newspaper.  How does such a newspaper work?  Here's a brief outline:

- One or two headline stories (usually 1-3 paragraphs) about local occurrences the prior week.
- An interview by a newspaper correspondent with a forum member.
- A featured picture from an artist on the site, or a funny picture related to the Sonic series.
- An RP tip given by a member.
- Responses to any official comments or questions from members to the paper, a 'Letter to the Editor' section if you will.

This newspaper is historically known as the Station Square Times.  (From an RP perspective, the office would be one of the new buildings as the city is rebuilt.)  When I say historically, I mean that I have forty-three weeks of weekly experience writing and editing forum newspapers.  At the point of writing this thread, I also have administrator approval for the concept.   Now it turns over to you, the members.

That mostly sums up what I have for presentation.  Please take a moment and vote in the poll.  If you're comfortable doing so, please also tell what you think and why in a response to this thread.  Also, if you think that any day of the week is better than any other for publishing the paper, please comment below.

The poll runs from Monday, September 2, to Friday, September 13, since Friday is the historical publication weekday of the paper.  Thank you and have a nice day!

an amazing idea! have in mind that i'm always in if you need help ok? i'm not that great, but maybe i can help. (i think i just want some attention from other people:D)

I support the idea because it could possibly lead to a little bit more forum activity.

That, (I meant to add this earlier), and it sounds like a load of fun. :3 It could help people put together different stories and string time and more elements into them, instead of.. you know-- the "hello-I-met-you-what-do-we-do-now" roleplays that seem to occur quite a bit.. As I've also seen on other sites.

For the record: The poll closed yesterday.  With the choices given weights based on intensity, the poll passes public muster 14-2.

The first issue is slated for next Wednesday, the 18th.
