The Common,Redone.

About a year after their marriage.it was a mild summer evening,the cool breeze coming from the east,chilling all that was in its path.the sun making its way down behind the horizon.

Zane stood on the porch,resting from work and the long hot day it had been.the breeze blew through his hair,he smiled with this simple and peaceful sensation.He was not away of what laid around the corner for him though.


Novas had just make himself a milkshake,and now sipped it as he read a book.he took pride in his skills as he found them,although all he knew he had was a talent in cooking and basketball.he wanted to find more he was good at.

Aqua found a nice place under a tree, as the wind blew threw her hair. A smile was brought to her face as Lexi was trying to teach her how to read music. It was true... Aqua couldn't read music, but Lexi could. Aqua sat with papers trying her hardest to figure it out.

Lexi mean while was eatting at the dinner table, snacking along. She had took a break from helping aqua.

zane had watched them as lexi tried to help aqua.he noticed she went to take a break and aqua just stayed trying to understand so he thought.taking his glass of water with him he walked to approach aqua.


novas turned the page in the cookbook.probably planning tomorrows dinner.he had started to make to improve his skills.sipping his shake he read on,finding something that would suit everyones taste."..."he looked to notice lexi walked in from helping aqua nd he smiled a bit and blinked taking his mouth away from the straw."oh hey."

Lexi pricked her ears and smiled sweetly. "Hey Novie!" Then began eatting again. She took a sip of her soda.

Aqua sat and pricked her ears hearing foot steps. She raised her head to look at him. "Hello there, handsome. How are you?" She looked back down to figure it out again.

"is she getting it? or is she having a hard time i wonder."he said with a smirk as he set the book down.


"im doing fine,how bout yourself beautiful?"he sat down beside her.

"Frustrated, I don't see how people can read this crap..."

Lexi laughed. "She's hard time with it"

novas laughed a bit."i thought so. hey,what do you think of chicken pot pie tomorrow?"he asked.

"well its not easy.cant you play by ear?"he looked at the sheets."...."

she looked to him. "Well, ya... But you can only go so far with that.. Plus if someone hands me a sheet of music and says play it... How can I?" She shrugged.

Lexi smiled. "YES!!!!!! Yes, yes! Yes!" She wiggled her tail excited.

he smiled and looked to her."well.maybe a bit of training on that would be fine.just hope the song is one you know."


novas smiled."alright then."he sipped his shake.

she nodded and just folded the papers. "Yeah, lexi'steaching me." She smiled and kissed his cheek. She frustration easing.

Lexi smiled and continued eatting her food.

"i noticed~."he smirked.he yawned a bit.

novas finished his shake and set the cup down.

aqua smiled at him. "So you looked like you were thinking up there... What about?" She faced him. 

Lexi finished and got up. "Hmmm..."

"i wasnt for once.i had a blank mind.its nice,not worrying about anything for once..."he smiled.


novas stretched and walked."i think im gonna go shoot some hoops.you can come if you want."he said getting his shoes on.

she smiled sweetly and followed quickly. "Yay!" 

Aqua smiled. "Is it? Yeah, I guess I need to do that same..."

"it is~..it just doesnt last long sometimes."he kissed her cheek and got up.


novas grabbed his basketball and walked after tying his shoes."hmh,ill take that as a yes."

she gotup after. "So what do you wanna do, dear?" She dusted herself off.

Lexi followed close behind. "Duh~"

"i dunno.have a shower.or something,it was a long day."



he chuckled.once he walked out the door he ran to get to the park.

Lexi ran close behind. "ewe!!!" She ran as fast as she could.

Aqua blinked. "o3o... I could go for one... -w- warm water is cozy~" she walked.

once at the park he walked.to the pavement that had hoops on either end.he dribbled the ball a bit and looked to lexi."if you want you can shoot some with me."


he chuckled."yes,i have tomorrow off,anything you want to do?"zane said looking to her with a smile.

she looked at him. "Have a night out, just you and me~please~" she kissed his cheek softly and looked to him. "It's been a while~"




Lexi smiled and nodded. "Sure, I guess." She got up and stood on the court, facing the basket and thought abit looking back to Novas.

"it has been,perhaps a dance as well?."he asked and smiled to her walking to head in.


novas passed it to her as he moved to stand defence."a little one on one,first player to 21 points wins.if you win,ill submit you your requests for a day."he smirked.

"I'd be honored to do so, sir~" she stopped and bowed, smiling at him.

She blinked. "Uh... Okay, d-don't hurt me..." She slowly walked up to the net, and grid to shoot it, it missing, "OAo..."

he looked at the ball as it missed he still blankly then looked to her."..oookay.you should try to get the ball in the hoop."he went and grabbed the ball.


he chuckled a bit and put his cup down on the kitchen table."hmh~."

She laughed slightly. "Yeah?" She rubbed her neck ad looked to he hoop. "I stink..." 

Aqua smiled at him. "Hmh~"

he smiled and bounced the ball once and looked to her."here try again."and passed it to her.

he turned to face aqua and smiled."you wanna know something?"
