"No...I tried as soon as I woke up. Nada." He turns to Death. "High pitched voice not to scare them too?"

"Most of the time!" Death replies happily.

FLame nods slightly."I'll meet you there!" She purrs, before Maka ends the call.
"Alright lets go to the DMA quickly..."Maka says seriously.

Soul nodded. "Alright Vixen Let's go meet your boyfriend." He runs off making sure Flame is following them.

Flame watches him run for a moment, before following, keeping up, but stays behind just a bit, thinking. Why weren't there powers working?Something was up, and she was going to find out what. he thought made her face harden, more serious.

Soul walks into Death's throne room spotting Flame and Death now having a conversation about his past look.

"...well if you went back to the old look a lot more people might praise you." He turns and jumps up running over to Flame and lifting her up. "Hai."

Flame purs, hugging hing him tightly."Hai..."She perks up, forgetting the power thing momentarily.

"Hm...It seems your soul's wavelengths are quite similar..."Maka remarks to the pair.

Death agrees with a nod."She's right, are you two a meister and weapon?"
"A what and what?"Flame cocks her head slightly.

"Um no. We're Boyfriend and Girlfriend." He tilts his head. "What's a Meister? And i'm pretty sure the kind of weapon i'm thinking off isn't the same as you are."

"A meister is a person who works to keep this world safe with weapons, their partners...Maka here is a Meister, Soul is her partner"

Flame nods."I see, when Sould turned into a scythe, and Maka used him to slice that uh, creature..."

"And by the looks of it... This male Flame is a weapon..."Maka says quietly.

Flame tilts her head."Flame?A weapon?"

"I'm like grumpy pocket guy over there? How do I even be a weapon?" He was clearly confused looking at Maka and Soul with a confused expression.

Maka lifts a shoulder."You are usually born with the power to turn into a weapon, and your Job is to assist the meister in defeating keshin eggs, and obtain their souls to turn the weapon into a powerful weapon for Lord Death..."

Flame raises an eyebrow."So am I supposed to be a meister?"

"Lord Death? You mean Mr. Ripoff Death over there? I don't want to work for him. I like Flame thank you very much." He choked out.

"You can still be with Flame, you will just have higher level tasks to do" I think.XD

Flame hugs him close, before feeling strange.She could see everyone's souls with exeption to those who don't."Whoah...I...I can see souls?"

"That is a power of a meister"Maka confirms it.

Soul speaks up. "Only certain Meisters. Maka here is one of the few who can actually see them." He strolls up to male Flame and holds out his hand it transforms into a Scythe blade. "Weapon like me eh. Guess I should show you the ropes."

"Ummm okay..."

"Oh joy, I'm special..."Flame says with a hint of sarcasam.

"Ah, why don't you two fill them in on What they need to know, and bring them in tomorrow to show them around campus, Eh?"

"Sure thing Lord Death!" Maka seemed excited.Flame s tails flicked uncertainly.

Flame was a little uneasy. He looked over at Flame with a face that said "We need to get out of here."

Soul shrugged. "Kay Death."

Flame nods at him, agreeing, before noticing that Maka was leaving."!"She catches up, Maka instantly starting to you into detail about miesters.

Flame walked next to Soul. "So this weapon stuff how do you do it?"

"Well mainly for transforming you just kinda imagine it and it happens. The other stuff is basically protect your Meister at any costs and when you get 99 Evil mortal souls and one Witch soul you become a weapon for Death."

"I'm willing to protect Flame no matter what anyway...."

Flame murmurs something to Maka up ahead, cuasing her to luagh."Really?"
Flame. Nods, continuing whatever story she was telling with a half hearted smile.

"Wonder what they're talking about up there....."

Soul yawned. "No clue."

Flame chuckles weakly."Err, yeah I've handled many were hand-made, not actual people though"

"Don't worry, its not that much different..."
Flame leans over and whispers something to her, cuasing to blush hard, and chuckles nervously."I guess do."

Flame speeds up catching up to the them. "So what you guys talking about?"

Flame chuckles."Maka is filling me in on the connection between a meister and weapon, pretty interesting.

"Oh really? And what would that connection mean?" He puts his arm around Flame as he walks.

"It means we'll be the most badass foxy couple ever" Flame chuckles.

"Why wouldn't we be able to work together? We get along easily. Wouldn't be dating if we didn't."
