"That you still eat people."

"I guess......but this food is poisonus the lack of healthy it is"

"No, it's not," Dem would have a taste, immediately regretting the decision. "Okay, this day's vile, but it's usually not this bad."

"Really?" :/

"Yeah. Most of the time, it's at least edible."

"Well I'll skip on lunch today..."

"No way," Dem would proclaim. "I'm not willing to starve and neither should you. We'll ask around the dormitories. Someone will be willing to share."

Dem would then add. "I'm willing to skip classes for this. It's hard to concenrate when you're hungry anyway," she'd go on. "Worst case scenario, we'll just ask Sonata to help us catch up."

"but I don't I can miss classes. Some of the people here don't like me....I really shouldn't miss one"

"It's high time I introduce you to the lovely world of 'knowing which classes you'll actually need and which ones you don't need to worry about'," Dem would say, a sly smile on her face. "And we'll find a way to get off of this world whenever we want to do some shopping or visit a boyfriend. But food is a priority right now. We deserve better than the slimy snot they are serving us right now."

"huh? I don't know...all classes seem important to me" she said innocenly. "I can go hunting later."

"You should get your head checked. Or at least your memory," an older student would tell Dem. "That's not true at all for the first year. But hey, if you want to not graduate, be my guest."

"what?! I do want to graduate. I just don't see how I'm going to graduate if I start skipping classes."

"Good," the older student would tell her. "Cuz some people don't take this as seriously, as, say, people who are willing to become battle mages. Namely, me. If some kid that skipped a class tells 'oh, I can't do that! I skipped that class', as per battle mage codex, they would be dishonourably discharged. After their fellow mages would have to go through the trouble of quickly finding an alternative solution to the situation at hand because some kid we were relying on for support forgot to that one class." He'd wait, letting that sink in.

"By all means, have fun outside of school, but don't pretend it's a joke." Dem's smile enthusiasm would fade just as quickly as it arrived.

She'd look to Viola and just laugh nervously. "I-I didn't actually mean that," she'd say. "Skip school, naaaah? It was a joke!"

"You do have great points." Viola smiled at the other student who explained the situation perfectly. Viola turned back to her friend. "Good to see you've changed your mind. School will over as soon as you know it!"

Demeter still felt a bit bad about the situation. "Y-yeah. Let's, uh, finish this week so we can go visit friends and family."

"Yes! " Viola was pumped up to get to class tho her hunger was growing
