Stryker would leap out of the cover, guns blazing, aiming for Dev's legs and arms.

Dev started floating Again. She was moving let to right but slowly

Stryker tried shooting where he thought she might be. It was the best he could do against a slow, albeit moving target.

Maggie tried staring Dev down.

Stryker saw the oppurnity and took it, emptying what ammo he had left into Dev's thighs and shoulders.

Maggie slithered forth, ready to take a hit for a Stryker as he ran into cover. She still had her petrifying gaze up and running.

Dev decicded to turn and try to hit Stryker but all she saw was Maggie and she froze.

Maggie would stare for a few more seconds, making sure the petrification went smootly.

Then, she'd exhale. "I really hope that's the last time I have to do this today."

Stryker would blow the smoke out of guns, the holster them as he walked to Prima's side.

"I bet she has one hell of a tale to tell," he says with a sly smile. "Hope you know to keep her tied down."

"Well, we'll have all the time in the world to beat the truth out of her," Stryker would proclaims. "Killing one of my newest recruits made it personal."

Maggie would be quick to disarm. "No, let's not resort to violence unless we absolutely have to," she says. "Let's act civil, offer water, bandage her wounds."

Stryker would lift the petrified Dev up, with Maggie quickly coming to his aid. The girl was heavier than she looked and Stryker himself was more of a nerd with a gun than a bodybuilder.

The two would enter and set her down at one of vacant rooms.

"Phew," Stryker would wipe the sweat off his forehead. "Before Mistress Snakes does her un-freezing gig, do we have some means of tying her down?"
