@missbat: I guess it's always a case of people always find the flaws in their own work. And I already tend to be pretty critical. XP

Whilst I'm not particularly fond of my drawing ability, at the very least I consider myself capable of colouring and shading to a relatively decentish quality. So... yay, colouring in!

Goddammit butt, make more doodles! I don't care what you say, I think they're fab, and the more you practice the better you'll get!

So yeah, I done gone and shaded a thing recently. In this particular case, a piece of my character Tess, originally by Springdragon! So, er, yeah, thought I'd share.

@Spark; Well I mean, I can take no credit for the posing or the detailing or anything like that. I just did the colour/shading aspect. Really can't take all that much credit for the actual drawing. XP

@Spekkal; I would be up for that! Especially since, y'know. You need to draw more. It'd be gr8. ;D

Firstly one of Seth, showing off his weird arm. It's just like, an allergic reaction or something. Honest!


Next up is Kath, pulling off her finishing submission, the Coronation Regalia! She's normally meant to be a bit more buff'd up than this, but this was sorta early into settling her design, and I've always struggled with muscles on finding the balance between 'too little' and 'too much'.


Aaand lastly my big cat Gardner! Did a lot of experimenting/playing with this piece. Experimenting with perspective, angles, shading, all that good fun. He crush you now.

Also Seth, that rash is spreading to your chest and you need to get some cream on that. That is not going to end well if you keep letting it spread you foooooool. And Kath needs to stop breaking peoples backs... annnnd I can't make the joke I had in mind about Gardner, because pg13 ;D

And honestly, I love the expressions you do. They're all super... well, expressive! And your shading style is great and feels very fluid~

@Spark; Ahaha, what do you mean shading style? The ultimate tactic is to never remember how you do anything and just improvise something new each time. It's the way forward.

@Dione & ForevaYoung; ndfjfbhhjbgf I dunnooo. I am an incredibly slooow artist, and I tend not to find the lineart I produce overly rewarding for how long it takes. At least think I'm okay and the colouring/shading portion, but my lines are just... blegh.

Speaking of which, I did another colour/shade thingummy, this time using Tiomara's linework of JC! Did a lot of experimenting this time with different techniques. I think some worked really well, some... not so much. Plus, I maaay've got a bit lazy towards the end, and there's definitely areas that could perhaps've done with cleaning up. Still, yeah, here we go, here be JC, with some new/different shading techniques!

That Shark is cute, I want to buy her Noodles Hamburgers. Is that a Megaman Background and an old Pheonix hat?
