The Lounge (Round One) Empty The Lounge (Round One)

Post by Dregan Mon Nov 23, 2015 6:04 pm

Those who'd been signed up had been told beforehand, plain and simple; '...and not only will you get a chance to compete, but you'll also gain free access to our luxury lounge!' Well, when you make an offer like that, you gotta back it up - especially when certain competitors at this point may've just been signing up for use of the free lounge. Well... it seemed they certainly weren't set out to disappoint.
At the top of a rather tall building, based inside a huge glass dome, you could see nearly the entire surrounding city with just a simple sweep round of the dome's edge. It was... breathtaking, beautiful. Aaand most of all, comfy. This was a damn comfy place. The centre of the room was taken up with four large sofas, the small area grooving down into the floor slightly. At their centre was a large table, with a selection of small snacks along it - crisps, nuts, fruit, that kind of thing. Either side of the centre-area were two looong tables. One side was set out as a buffet, free plates and free food to be gathered by any who were in want - the other side, the table was layed bare, seats set around it - assumingly for those who wanted to amuse themselves, and pass the time with their own games and such. It would be the perfect setting for a pack of cards and a bored mind. Or, for someone who had perhaps garnered a drink from the fancy self-serve bar set up at the back of the room. Whilst people were free to come and go from it as they pleased, there did appear to be a couple of large gentlemen on hand for if anyone particularly underage attempted to take what they rightfully should not.
Finalising the room were six enormous TV screens, each positioned at different points surrounding the room. Currently, the TVs seemed to be displaying simply names and faces - twenty to be precise. The name and face of each and every competitor who would be competing. The first chance the people entering the lounge would have at eye-ing up their competition.

Stood by one of these large screens was a nicely-suited Zebra. Fans of Friday night television would recognise the man as Handsome Greg - a man who normally worked as a referee in such combatitive sporting events. Today however, it seemed he'd jumped at the chance of playing host;
"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Tremendous Tribulations Tournament Luxury Lounge! Try saying that three times fast!" he offered a grin. He was kind of... charming. In a really dorky way;
"Whilst there may be twenty of you competing now, I assure you, that won't be the case for all too long! Soon enough, twelve of you shall be going to battle - and only six of you, will be making it through to another round! So! Take the time to get to know each other - what you learn now could help you in the soon to come future!"
There, that should do it to keep them on their toes! The mystery as to who would be competing, and who would get the round off, would hopefully be enough to put a fair share of them on edge - and put them on the look-out for just who they thought their opponents might be.

And one of the first people to show up was a black vixen who had been there for a while, actually! Almost as soon as it was opened. This kind of accommodation was something she'd never experienced. She had her feet up on the table, all relaxed on the sofa, chowing down a bunch of nuts. She was eyeing the large screen closest to her center of view, checking every face on it.

...Nothing really came to mind immediately. ...Wait, Sass? ...Oh boy. That could be... awkward. But nonetheless she wouldn't care too much. It was for a prize afterall.

A stretch, and suddenly the zebra began speaking, the vixen slightly jumping at the loudness. "..." Getting to know people. Hm... ...Maybe that COULD help. She was good as being a ghost as was. On her back, a backpack... rather than wear her gloves, they were simply placed in there, so anyone she saw wouldn't be able to see them and analyze them as a strength or weakness. She had to make a good first impression too. Maybe making a person back down from fighting would be possible... that could be fun.

"OHOHOHO~!"
And the next person to arrive was certainly... louder than the vixen. Louder, bolder, and more eager to declare their arrival upon the scene. Not to mention the laugh! An incredibly corny and eccentric laughter that wasn't evil or malicious, but simply really cheesy.

Who strode into the scene... didn't look like a fighter. You'd be forgiven if you thought otherwise. And you'd also be forgiven if you thought them to be a bundle of red, white and pink. Mainly pink. She was, in fact, a griffon. White feathers with a gentle tint of rosy red at the tips, with large wings and a lion's tail with a little pink bow on it. Though the species here wasn't of nope - it was how she dressed. She wore heels for a start, which wasn't wise in battle I mean come on, and also wore an incredibly frilly pink short dress with lots of hearts on it. The hybrid also had long, red hair that reached her spine and curled at the edges. She was quite cute actually, and the blush on her cheeks confirmed that.

"Heeellooooo darlings~!" she called out to the otherwise empty room bar Sora. Her voice was.. deeper than you'd expect. Not incredibly so, but you'd expect something a lot more high-pitched and girly for that kind of look. Regardless, she fluttered her wings as she bounded forward, blowing a kiss in the competitor's direction, "Ooohh! What a cutie! Hope to see you on the battlefield, gorgeous~" she giggled. There was a wink included in there.

Maxie gravitated towards the snacks, and found herself a bowl of nuts, that she popped into her mouth one by one every now and again. She seemed to be enjoying herself already, so that was good.

There didn't seem to be any sort of weapon on her. If anything, that entire outfit of hers, as stated earlier, was just... odd and not fit for a tournament about pummelling faces, and probably incredibly deceiving.

The next competitor to introduce himself wasn't even in the room. The TV's that showed the face and name of all of those participating started to go haywire and show Malware 2.0's face over and over and over and over again. The name, Malware 2.0, was changed to "Victor of Tornamunt LULZ!!!!!!" Whoever this Malware 2.0 guy was, he sure was full of himself. It also seemed like he couldn't spell, then again, he did seem like the kind of guy who got on everyone's nerves. The elevator dinged and in walked a 3'6" tall fox wearing a mask along with street clothes. The fox's mask matched that of the one on the screen so this must've been Malware 2.0. He didn't really blurt out anything upon arrival, but he did have an incredible talent for hacking things. He simply nodded towards all the other competitors as he brought his DJ equipment in so that he'd have something to do when the inevitable plague known as boredom struck.
He set his equipment down on one of the table, pointed at one of the TV's, and somehow, through his gloves, made the TV he was pointing at go to a black screen. Soon, the TV displayed the following message, "Ma1war3 2.0 i5 h3r3! Wh0'5 up f0r a party?" This kind of stuff amused Malware 2.0, yet he was as silent as a ninja. In fact, he didn't even laugh at his own trolling tendencies. Just who exactly was this guy?

"..." Sora grimaced some more, oh god this one was loud and obnoxious. Nothing more than a... overly happy annoyance, it seemed.

"...!" The name of 'cutie' and the other compliments made her very slightly... blush? Whoah, calm down. She made sure to look away so it wouldn't be seen, "...Yeah." She wasn't used to people outright... complimenting her looks. That was... a change.

Instead of keep that, however, she took in the appearance of the griffon, allowing a moment to recover from that. A brow raised. "...You aren't gonna wear that to the fights ar-?" The vixen questioned, only to be cut off by the sudden... hack.

"...The hell is going on with...?" She was speechless. ...Uh...

"Maybe you guys oughtta fix the electrical-" And suddenly the hacker himself appeared. ...Okay.

When it came to him pointing, and the monitor changing, she was... very impressed. "Whoah... rad hacking skills." She said to herself, beeeeeefore she slightly shrugged at the suggestion of 'party'. "...Nnnot much of a party gal." A pause. "...Unless I get some kind of booze." She eyed the rather bulky people in the room. That likely wasn't gonna happen with them around. Not like she had any fake ID or anything.

The Lounge (Round One) Empty Re: The Lounge (Round One)

Post by C.S.O. Mon Nov 23, 2015 7:50 pm

A short time later, a fairly tall, athletic looking wolf slowly made his way into the lounge, carrying a duffel bag at his side and a backpack on one shoulder and dressing in a beige coloured shirt and brown pants. He glances around the rather lavishly decorated meeting room.

*Well... this certainly looks... fancy.* he thinks to himself.

He looks around at the people currently assembled inside the room. A zebra, a vixen, a fox, a griffon who he had to admit immediately captured his attention given the fact that he'd never seen anyone of her species before, and two other individuals that appeared to be watching them all. Everyone seemed to be spread out and were doing their own thing.

*Hmmm... no sense in impinging on anyone else's... area.* he thinks.

He makes his way over towards the buffet to look over what was being offered, while keeping his distance from the others.

A cyan fox walked into the beautiful lounge. He seemed pretty calm when he walked in. Just a smile as he did a step forward. Then he saw EVERYTHING. Oh. My. Goodness. This was amazing. Everything he could imagine was there. This was truly beautiful. He jumped up and his face went to total excitement. He thought this was gonna be just a brawl and he would be out the first round. But then he saw all this and he knew that it would be amazing and he knew he was gonna learn alot from experienced fighters and he knew....THAT THERE WAS FOOD.

He jumped on the couch, nodding to the other competitors that were already there. They seemed very different from eachother. Great! He could learn from them all! But there was one of those three that really interested him. And that would be the vixen. It amazed him somehow. The other two competitors seemed to show off something really amazing, like computers or levitating while not giving a crud about that there was a battle going to happen and that she was not dressed for the occasion.

He thought he was just going to sit there for now. His eyes were glowing pretty bright. He was pretty excited.

The Lounge (Round One) Empty Re: The Lounge (Round One)

Post by Midknight Mon Nov 23, 2015 8:07 pm

Arriving to the absolute pleasure that was The Lounge, was a rather peculiar raccoon. The raccoon was quite athletically built, having a clear amount of strength to his body. He had dark grey fur primarily, with typical raccoon-esque markings, they were purple. He was wearing a rather odd outift however, different to his usual attire. Today he wore a black-battle suit of sorts, padded and reinforced in areas, such as the abdomen, knees, elbows, shoulders. This was also matched with boots and gloves. The purpose of the suit was to prevent any severe damage to his body, from the likes of physical attacks - he would still be able to take damage, though. Upon closer examination, one would also notice hints of technology and gizmos, dotted about his body.
((May add an image later, if I draw one..))

Upon his arrival, he never really done...much. The raccoon that went by the name of Six, stood mainly by a wall, arms crossed with a rather stern expression. He would only pace around every now and then, or eye up the screens - or rather suss out what he was actually up against.

Six was aware that the world they lived in was filled to brim with Mobians with extraordinary abilities, and well, that was why he was here really. He hadn't much experience in combat against such creatures, and this was his...experiment of sorts. The mission here was to see how well he, an essentially modified Mobian, would fair against those with what would be called "super" powers. It was going to be interesting, for him anyway.

Six continued to stick to the side, away from the attention of the far louder contestants, he wasn't shy by any means, but preferred to keep himself to himself, as some people may already know.

The Lounge (Round One) Empty Re: The Lounge (Round One)

Post by Spekkal Mon Nov 23, 2015 8:51 pm

With the increase in entrances, the most noticeable which caught her attention was that Malware fellow. A fox with a mask, and a grand and unexpected entrance at that. Even if his way of speaking was awfully childlike at crude, there was an alluring sense of mystery around him that she had to raise her eyebrows at.

"What a lovely crowd we have here!" the white-feathered griffon remarked, with the swarm of newcomers. Honestly, this was a fantastic idea. A paradise to relax before and after the fights - either way, it was a wonderful treat that certainly tickled her fancy! She giggled to herself with her index finger teasingly against her beak, that bowl of nuts having been devoured and set aside, "Oh I simply can't wait, aaahh~!" Her tail feathers curled, and she blushed slightly. What an odd thing she was.

But now it was time to socialise! Asking and receiving for a non-alcoholic drink in a glass, she wrapped it around her gloved hands and went to mingle. First off was Boubka. She HAD considered the raccoon, but he was too stern and clearly wasn't up for conversation. Malware seemed to be doing his own thing, and she'd interrupt with that later, and the wolf was busy getting food. That left the Vixen.

Actually... new plan.

Flopping onto the couch that Sora was at, Maxie grinned widely and gave a wink towards her. She quietly whistled towards Boubka to get his attention and raised her hand, "Yooohooo~! Cute blue fox boy! Why don't you join us for a little chat, mmm?"
She laughed.
"Oh I hope you don't mind, honey!" she giggled towards poor Sora, "But you two seem so interesting and fun to gab to, and the others, mm, look so busyyy..."

Post by Caliburn Mon Nov 23, 2015 9:07 pm

More people. Oh god so many more people. She wasn't expecting many people from the list to show up. She expected them to be stuck up fighters. But people were actually showing up one by one, really fast.

...Not many of them annoyed her TOO much at least.

Until suddenly Boubka practically super slammed the sofa she was sitting on, making her jump up a little bit, "Ac-" And suddenly Maxie joined them, making her jump even more. "JEEZ why doesn't everyone jump on the couch while you're at it?!" She blurted out a bit, sounding clearly surprised. After a brief moment, she recovered from it, caught eye of the wink, and almost shyly looked away, before looking back over for a moment.

Her eyes slowly went to others in the room. Well, a lot of them did seem super anti-social, and here she was laying all chill. Guess she didn't do much of avoiding contact. Not that she minded TOO much, she supposed.

"Ehhh... nawh, I... don't mind, I guess." She said, with a small (forced) smile. She felt a bit awkward being practically sandwiched between the cyan fox and the griffon, to say the least.

Boubka quickly turned around when he heard the griffon talk. Oh gods another one that called him blue. His eye twitched for a moment but he thought he should just let it slip now.

Now that he thought of it. Although that griffon wasn't really wearing stuff for the occasion, Boubka looked pretty casual as well. But you'd be deceived if you thought that way, he was wearing a few protectors on his knees and elbows.

He looked a bit weird at the cute part. Boubka was never really one to be flirt with. He still didn't understand it. He only saw friendship, so he didn't do anything majorly weird when the griffon called him cute. When he sat somewhat closer he just gave a normal "Hello." He knew that the griffon was trying to act all cutesy. He knew that she was trying to deceive them all. He looked at the vixen. Who was clearly not on ease. He looked a bit worried at the vixen. He was not really worried about he vixen. He was more worried about the griffon and he wanted to make that clear to the vixen. "Anyway....I'm Boubka. What are your names?" He quickly looked from the one to the other.

*Buuuuuuuurrrrrrrrp**POP* "AH, hahahahaha! I'm never gonne beat that one!" And that there was Blizz. Currently handling 3 liters of Vodka , Margerita, and Tequila in a single bottle. How she wasn't dead yet was anyone's guess. "I *Hic* may have lost track of *Hic* time, but *Hic* I'm just glad I can think *Hic* straight. *Hic*"

The blue vixen then flopped her head on the table while her drink was in her hand. She stayed like this for about a minute before yanking her head up and hugging her bottle "My rum!" And was clearly paranoid. She relaxed as her black eye, white-iris eyes saw that no one was going for her alcohol.

When she heard the griffon speak, she didn't waste the opportunity. "Don't get too comfortable with the lad, Griffon. I don't think he's experienced enough...yet." Blizz, tipsily stated as she put her machete on the weapon rack next to her, behind her seat.

The raccoons ears twitch. People. However, sitting subtly in the background wasn't exactly going to be beneficial in this situation. Socialising had to happen. Sigh.

He scans the eyes with his dull, lazy looking eyes. Realising the majority were with the Griffon. She was loud. Very loud.

Despite being slightly not happy with this situation the raccoon decided it would probably be in his best interest to try and figure out what sort of characters he was up against here. Grabbing a drink of water, he makes his way over.

"Greetings,", says Six to the group - Maxie, Sora and Boubka.

The wolf glances over the group gathering in the middle of the room, the loud drunk who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere or who'd simply failed to notice entering the room, and that other fox standing with his equipment. He picks up a couple of pieces of fruit from the buffet table and surveys the views through the various windows, before settling on one some distance from the rest of the people in the room.

*What was I ever thinking?* he muses to himself as he walks past the group gathered in the middle of the room, while keeping his distance, *This sounded like a good chance to hone my fighting skills... but this...*

He glances back over his shoulder as he approaches the window he'd picked out moments earlier.

*Some of these people are a bit too loud and excitable for my tastes...* he thinks, *And considering those... screens... this whole event may be more of a spectacle than I realized...*

Turning his attention back to the window, he stares out across the city and towards the expanse of nature beyond its edge.

*I think that's where I'd rather be right now...* he thinks.

Yet another participant entered the room. This one, however, suddenly stopped. This contestant, a green avian covered mainly in black clothes with a sword's hilt above his right shoulder, looked a bit confused. Though most of the screens showed the fighters, one struck him as odd. The only TV that had a rather strange way of-

"Wait... Party...?" Zephyr looked around bewildered by the sight of a rather creepy DJ, a drunk blue vixen and the looks of the griffon. He was in the right place but, he certainly didn't expect to see this in a fighting tournament's lounge... Although, he never has been in one before...

With a slow sigh, the avian expression changed dramatically as he put a rather calm face, even if he was quite confused. He walked slowly around the place looking at the others and sometimes giving a quick glance to the screens. He was very excited but he didn't want to give a childish impression to others.

Finally, he stopped at a weapon rack, leaving there his blade with its sheath so he wouldn't seem hostile. Then, with a soft smile, went to the buffet table to get some energy. His mind was put into the battles ahead, but enjoying the stay would be a nice bonus...

The Lounge (Round One) Empty Re: The Lounge (Round One)

Post by The_Terror Mon Nov 23, 2015 10:47 pm

When Sora responded to Malware's question, which was displayed on the TV's, Malware himself tilted his head from side to side. How would he be able to break into the alcohol storage and not get beaten up by the large gentlemen guarding it? That would have to wait for later. For now, setting up the DJ equipment was the primary objective. While the others conversed, Malware had quickly set up his equipment with ease. He had done this enough times to the point where he could set everything up in his sleep. He was a bit saddened to see that he himself was not the center of attention. Ah well, thought Malware, guess not everyone can be the center of attention. Suddenly, Malware had a destructive, reckless idea. He was going to get Sora's drink by causing a city-wide blackout. How was he going to do this? Easy. He walked over to the window and observed the city for the power station.
Once he found it, Malware placed his hand upon the window with his palm pointing straight at the power station. Now, the fun part was going to begin. It took a while to get through the firewalls of the computer that distributed the power to the city, but Malware somehow accomplished his task. A city-wide blackout occurred, leaving Malware enough time to raid the alcohol cabinets.
In a stealthy manner, Malware slipped a bottle of alcohol in everyone's hands including Sora. Once the backup generators kicked in, Malware seemed to be focusing on finishing setting up. Not only was the blackout a chance to be the center of attention, but it was also a demonstration of how exactly talented and dangerous Malware was when he was around advanced technology. Malware put on his headphones and began to play some song named "California" by some sort of doctor so that the group would enjoy the music.

(It's cool, Burning-Fox. You don't have to apologize. I tend to apologize for the simplest of things. Even if someone bumps into me, I always find myself saying sorry.)

(Noticed that Terror posted while I was typing this - just assume that this post was before his! I don't feel like editing << >> )

Aha! Another newcomer - and a bird no doubt! How exciting! She grinned at the newcomer, before finally addressing the two before her. They seemed on edge. She figured as much. She laughed, and her shoulders relaxed, "Ohoho! Don't worry, darlings, I'm not going to bite your head off~ Cause in between our little brawls, lil' Maxie-Waxie here's gonna want someone to talk to!" she teased, sitting upright, but holding her hands on her legs with a slight raise of her behind.

And before she could reply, there was another newcomer - the raccoon from before! She was... actually surprised, the boy didn't strike him as a social type, and it was brave of him to wander over to a semi-large group that were already talking. Props to him! "Hello, honey! I must say, I reeaaally dig that outfiiiit!" she said with a laugh, directing the odd raccoon to the couch they were all sitting at, "How about you join us for our little gossip-fest, mmm?"

She swung her legs back and forth, interlocking her gloved fingers innocently as she did so; "Meeee? Awww hon, you're adorable! I'm Maxie! Hoho, you're so well mannered! Aaaahhh~!" Her hand shot to her beak, as she concealed a tiny squeal, "S-so cuuute~!"

And then she leaned in the direction of poor Sora, with a twinkle in her eye; "Now it's only you and the haaaaandsome boy over there who need to shaaare~!"

Post by Midknight Mon Nov 23, 2015 11:00 pm

Six, as bothered as he felt, took up the offer by the Maxie, sitting next to them. He sits with good posture, holding his glass in one hand, resting the other arm on the armrest of the couch. "Why thank-you, Ms." he replies, with a voice low yet soft. He just had to keep this up for a while..surely? It was only for a while. Only for a while. Besides, valuable information could be got here.  However, in order to attain information, he felt it would be logical to share some of his own, hopefully allowing him to seem trustworthy.

"Call me Six, everyone."

That should do for now.

"...Uh..." Sora sweatdropped, giving a pretty forced grin. "E...Eheh, I mean, I... uh.." Oh god help. "...I'm uh... Sora." She said, finding the social circle EXTREMELY awkward. Excuses, excuses... what could she say to get out of this. "...Er, if you'd, just... exc-" And suddenly blackout.

She was a bit freaked out, especially when she felt something slip into her hand, but when the lights came back on... ...Oh, sweet. She couldn't help but just... blink. That was a surprise. Er. Whoever did it, she had no idea. But whoever it was-She was starting to get irritated by the music. "...Just, erh... ..." She awkwardly looked around, still feeling a bit on edge. "...Could you... give me a liiiiittle bit of breathing room, maybe?" She quietly asked.

At the end of the day she was almost being squashed.

The Lounge (Round One) Empty Re: The Lounge (Round One)

(Not sure where the turn order is, but I hope no one minds me breaking the order...?)

Entering the room after many conversations had started to take place was a tall Kitsune, three fluffy tails trailing behind him as he stepped into the room and glanced over each of the competitors that were currently conversing, relaxing, what-have-you within the extremely upscale room. Surely they spared no expense when it came to making the competitors feel welcome. The Kitsune took a deep breath, the leathery wings that protruded from the shadow's back flexing and relaxing as he did so. With each step closer to the slight crowd forming within the room, he began to question whether it was a good idea to come up here in the first place or not. Noticing the self-serve bar in the back he perked up, making his way around the edges of the dome- occasionally nodding to anyone who would have noticed his presence as he made his way towards the bar.

The blue trench coat stuck out against his black fur, but against the bits of red and his almost unnatural looking blonde fur it somehow seemed to fit. His left hand, however, was a bit out of place compared to the rest of his general structure. It was purple and scaled. It seemed lizard-like in form and texture and had a perpetual dark aura surrounding it. It rose up like flames occasionally, it was not a hostile energy but rather a protective coating that appeared to cover the scaled hand like his fur would the rest of his body. He stood tall as he strode along the edges of the dome giving off an intimidating look and energy. Upon reaching the bar, he plucked a wine glass from those available and contemplated his options occasionally glancing out at the competitors as if to size them up.

For having entered a fighting tournament, many of them seemed very relaxed. It was strange to Twilight, these feelings are something he has not yet grown accustomed to- but he kept up a strong front as he looked most of them over.

The Lounge (Round One) Empty Re: The Lounge (Round One)

The wolf half listens to the conversations taking place among the group in the middle of the room. He notes the fox with the equipment approaching another window but paid him little mind. The wolf had just begun eating one of the pieces of fruit he'd picked up from the buffet table when the power went out.

*What the...?* he wonders, *What happened? Why have things gone dark? Does this mean trouble?*

The wolf goes on alert, listening intently to the rest of the room, and looking back into it. Being near the window also gave him some light from outside, and it was by that light that he saw the fox 'sneak' over. Of course, since he was on alert, the wolf heard him approach. The fox 'gave' him a closed bottle from who knows where and then the wolf watches him leave to another part of the room.

*I'm not even going to ask...* he thinks to himself, before he crouches down and rolls the bottle away to an unoccupied area of the room.

When he stands back up, the power comes back on. The wolf notes that everyone was back in their places from before the power had gone out. He rolls his eyes, before looking at the fox again.

*There's no end to the strange things that one can encounter in this world...* he thinks, as a kitsune enters the room.

The wolf turns back towards the window and resumes eating his piece of fruit.

The Lounge (Round One) Empty Re: The Lounge (Round One)

While he was trying some small aperitif, the blackout happened. He was surprised and almost jumped, with the food in his beak. Without having said anything yet, he felt he was holding something with his left hand. Raising it in front of him, he noticed it was a bottle.

When the light went back on, he realized he was holding alcohol! He was sure he didn't get anything for drinking yet, so why was he holding it? With a quick but soft laugh, he was about to open it when some paranoid thoughts crossed his mind.

What if it's not a safe drink? Of course, a little alcohol won't do any bad but... Zephyr glanced back at the drunken vixen. Cautiously, he left the bottle on the table and continued eating. Drinking before fighting? No, thanks. Better be completely ready...

"...Ahhh, whatever." Sora cracked open the bottle almost immediately afterwards either way. She pressed it to her lips, and took a mighty swig, and gave a rather satisfied 'aaah' afterwards, ("Hell of a taste. Not as strong as the usual but it's good.") She thought to herself, before stretching, placing the bottle next to her feet so she didn't have to worry about holding it.

Boubka's head was getting really fuzzy. He wanted to say hello to Six. He seemed like a nice guy. But some things seemed to be in the way. He couldn't really get himself to focus on Six.

For one. Sora was really not on ease and Boubka really wanted to help her, but he didn't know how and maybe it was better not to help her at all. His mind was in its own arguent.

Secondly, a giant blackout happened and Boubka obiously got distracted by it.

And third: The bigest problem of them all. He got majorly annoyed by this Maxie person who was clearly faking this whole buisness.

He held his hands against his ears and closed his eyes for a moment. He had to pull himself off from all these problems, but how? He looked around a bit worried, not knowing what to do.
