Image Issues....
I can't seem to see any artwork on the forum.
I get a brief image and then it vanishes.
So image post don't show.
Is it just me or do others have the same problem?

Re: Image Issues....
Hmm... This issue has frustrated many people. I know of a few things you could try that may fix this, but sadly there are no guarantees.
First, you could try clearing your browser cache. (Settings>Show Advanced Settings>Clear Browsing Data) After clearing it, restart the browser completely and see if it still happens.
If that doesn't work, I've read that Java could be related, so head here (assuming the link works) to check your browser's current version and update if necessary. Also, it would be wise to check for any duplicate installations of Java that may be conflicting with each other. You can do this by pasting "chrome://plugins/" into your address bar and viewing the resulting list of installed plugins. Be sure to disable any duplicates, and restart the browser after making the changes.
If it still isn't working, some have claimed that the extension AdBlock can occasionally cause this behavior. So, if you happen to have AdBlock, disable and see if the problem persists.
Hopefully one of these oughta do it. If not, let me know. There may be a few other things you can try.
Best of luck!

Re: Image Issues....
No no and no!
My Java was out of date badly and clearing my browser cache did nothing.
I do not have Adblock either.

Re: Image Issues....
Erm, alright.
Let's see... Do you have any addons at all? Sometimes older addons and newer chrome revisions don't mix.
Is this happening in every thread that features images?
Also, do you have any anti-virus programs running?

Add on's...No.
Yes and it's only on the SRN.
I always have my AVG running. Never had a problem before. It only started at the beginning of this year.

Re: Image Issues....
Hmmm... I'm running out of ideas.
Most everything else I'm reading about this bug points to website-side code errors, but I'm using Chrome as well and have yet to experience this on SRN.
I think Chrome automatically updates, but I suppose it's worth checking the version just in case. Go to "About Google Chrome" in the options and it should tell you if the browser is up to date.
It's bothering me that I can't find a fix for this. I've been having a similar issue with Chrome lately. Hitting the back button fully loads the previous page, then the whole page goes blank. Nobody seems to have a reliable fix for this either. :I

Re: Image Issues....
Using Chrome's options to increase page or text size has been know to cause page faults at times, so I guess make sure none of that stuff is on.
Assuming you installed said update to no avail, the last thing I can suggest is either re-installing Chrome, or switching to another browser.

Re: Image Issues....
*Facepalm*
It's chrome that has the issues!
Before I had chrome, I used IE.....And it works fine....
The window is off, but the images work.
Why Chrome deccided not to load the images is beyond me.

Re: Image Issues....
Well, glad to hear IE is working for you. Or at least, that's what I took from your post.
Sorry we couldn't get Chrome to behave!

Re: Image Issues....
Yeah.
Maybe I'll get Chrome to work with images.
The funny thing is it is only here that images don't work.
IE works just fine and the images do load up with no problem.
